As someone who has also platinumed this game, DLC included, I respect the length you went to to achieve this. It’s not easy in the slightest but the payoff is so worth it!!
I have too and gotta say I agree! This game is so difficult but so fun to play and the difficulty makes every boss you beat an achievement on it's own! This game is beautiful and so well made that it is just a treat to play

20:42 That actually works on King Dice's sub bosses. So you can go to the casino, get some bonus hearts from other sub bosses and then beat Phear Lap or Mr. Chimes while having extra hit points.

Uh, something that might have helped when fighting the Pilots is that there is a secret phase which is much easier, if you just injure all the jetpackers till black smoke comes out. It involves NO head tilting.
Hey heads up for those going for the Plat when you have to the level as a mini plane go to king dice and choose the horse battle it counts and the attacks are easy to memerize and dodge. Also it has way less health

I think it doesn't count the retry button. For me it's impossible to 100% with only 200 deaths.
For the mini plane achievement you can try defeating Dr. Kahl's Robot as you only have to beat his first phase. I found it much easier than Hilda Berg.

this is my one game that i got the platinum while playing casually the whole time, i love that none of the achievements are too far out of the way that they're annoying. personally i found all the achievements either fun or not too difficult that it'd be annoying, definitely one of my most enjoyable platinum

believe me, cuphead isn't that hard. i completed the game in like a month with a lot of big breaks between the fights. you can do it
Something a lot of people don't know is that you don't need to beat just 7 bosses, you need to get 16 points given from beating bosses with the relic:
Isle 1 bosses giving you 2 points
Isle 2 bosses giving 2.5 points
isle 3 and dlc giving 3 points
Saltbaker and devil giving 4
And king dice and his minions giving 1 points each. All bosses can only be beaten once and it must be on regular.
It's recommended to beat all bosses on isle 1, Werner, brineybeard, and baroness.

I remember being so happy after getting platinum on this game when it came out... But it also only took me a day to miss it, so I decided to s-rank every boss... The worst case of masochism I have ever had, but Jesus christ did it feel satisfying in the end.

A tip for people attempting platinum, the achievement where you beat a plane boss with just the small plane. You can beat one of king dice's bosses while being in the small plane and you will still get the achievement.

I think it's cool that when i first tried to beat Cuphead fully I rage quit so many times and when I watched this video and went back to the game and got 100 percent in a hour thanks for the motivation 😁
I got all the achievements in this game recently and not only that, I s ranked every boss in the game and its nice to see other people get trophies in difficult games like cuphead

For the mini plane only achievement you can do it on Phear lap (skeleton horse) in the king dice fight :)

Getting the platinum trophy is absolute torture took me like 1 year or 2 but this guy got some determination, like dang!!!
how the hell did you got this platinum in two years it took me 70 hours
2 years for platinum? I beat the game in 3 days and got plat in around 60 hours

I'm happy this game is out of my life after 100%'ed the main game (this was before the DLC was out). Love the art style but my word it's hard. It's this or The Path of Pain on Hollow Knight that come under the hardest 2D gaming experiences.

That S on the devil in expert was a huge flex
Btw the horse in the king dice battles counts for the small airplane objective
So you didn't even have to do one of the hardest trophies lol nice, really suffered through this one
I personally think beating the bosses on expert was actually easier than getting the a ranks because you didn't need to think about keeping high hp and getting parries and attacking enough that you finish fast enough just beat it at all and your good
I thought the same thing. There been alot of tune where I was just one off of something and the time if the bird and kingdice was hard to master

Good job dude! I have platinumed the game on nintendo switch, but if you want to play this game again for some reason, i suggest getting all S-ranks, i have done it and it is very difficult, especially saltbaker.
All S ranks seems like a crazy challenge!
@@TannerJaye yeah, it took me 3 months in the normal isles and 1 in the dlc bc of dr kahls robot, hilda berg, king dice and saltbaker, but if you stand strong and believe, you can achieve one of the hardest feats in a videogame.

When I was playing the DLC on expert, I completely lucked out on Glumstone and got an S Rank.
I still haven’t done the same for ANY of the plane bosses.
