how is he counting - is he going based on time? or are they counting out 50 hit balls by the middles??

Carnell Byers Each girl on the blocks hit 25 each, so 50 total hits. The total of 12 was the number of balls the setter managed to set to the guy in outside hitter position (4).

The girls on the blocks hit 25 balls each, a total of 50 balls. Fab, shorthand for fabulous, is just to make it a catchy name that your athletes will remember how to set up into the drill at a moment's notice. :) Cheers

Just stopping by to say how this drill doesn't really help you with anything. If anything, the drill is creating chaos and bad habits. LOL
