I want to ask that because I just got my diploma in Operations Management and currently don't have any work experience, am I a treat as I'm looking for employment with my qualification to the people hiring personnel. 🤔
Welcome to the Channel. There is no "good time" specifically to hire a Business Operations Manager. You hire a Business Ops Manager either full-time or contractual when you see your business starting to grow, when you have issues with the functionality of your business, when you want your business reviewed (etc.) There are many reasons why businesses hire Ops Managers. Business Operations Managers can be hired full time when the company can afford to do so to relieve the owner of the operational and management issues of the company. Personally speaking, I get hired when small businesses want to move from napkin planning to actually starting to expansion. Wide open field, depending on the experience of the Ops Manager. Might I ask please, why was the video very hurtful?
@@NinaRossBusiness Thanks for responding, I was seeking information because I'm in the transportation business and the day to day is overwhelming; mainly in the area of hiring

Hey. I have a question. Is getting a degree in business management worth it? Im specifically aim for the logistics and operations management area under the business management umbrella. Tips? Ideas? Or input?
👋👋 *MY TWO CENTS* if you have some *years* of business management experience you my not need the degree. If you don't have years of real-world business management experience I'd go for the business mnagement then branch off from there with logistics and Ops.
@@NinaRossBusiness oh ok, thanks. Im 22 with 3 and half years of manufacturing experience. But im trying to move up to team leader for now then in October, once our company gets to its second phase I want to move up to Group Leader(Production Supervisor). Our company has been promoting/hiring a lot of outside people with degrees, so I thought maybe i should take up business management to get that position and as time go by, move up the management ladder. And thanks for your feedback!
Start listening to colleague complaints and discuss possible solutions to those issues with Managers that won't take credit for your work. Also start getting to know the key decision makers and talk about any new ideas you may have to perform tasks at your company. Stay away from pettiness. Help other colleagues resolve their issues. Think like a Manager. Management will start looking at you like a Manager and maybe think about you for promotions - with or without a degree.
@@NinaRossBusiness ok, thanks. Yes, i MOST DEFINITELY don't get involved with drama or immature behavior at work. Now when i was a quality tech, i proposed many ideas to my Plant, Shift, and Engineer Managers about a work station that I worked in when i was a regular team member. At first they didn't want to listen or use any of my ideas. But after MANY failed attempts of their ideas, they finally used one of my ideas and gave me slight credit. But now they are way more open to any ideas that i have. Hopefully the upper management at new location see the creativity that I bring and will somewhat use them. And if not, ill completely understand, but will continue to propose any ideas that i think would help our team members.
@@NinaRossBusiness side note lol. I think our upper management does slowly see me moving up in the future. Because they always call on me to run the floor when managers, and supervisor have to leave.

I want to do certification in process management
That's great to hear! How long will the certification take?
Hi do you have OM qualifications
👋 Welcome to the Channel. Yes. Prior to consulting, I have about 15 years of experience in the number 2 position (OM). I've been consulting now for a few years. To see my qualifications, please visit my LinkedIn page. The link is at the top (right) corner of my TH-cam page. Thank you so much for stopping by and leaving your question.
I want to ask that because I just got my diploma in Operations Management and currently don't have any work experience, am I a treat as I'm looking for employment with my qualification to the people hiring personnel. 🤔
Congratulations on getting your degree.🥳🥳🥳 What state do you reside?
Hi, good video, very hurtful. My question is, when is it a good time to hire a business operator manager?
@@felicia1ofakind You may want to consider contracting with a Ops Man (consultant) or other individual who has experience in creating job postings, preliminary interviewing, performing background checks, new hire docs, etc. I have a suggestion or two if you'd like to hear them. Please email me at nina@ninaross.solutions. I will return the email with my thoughts re: what I think may be helpful to you. If you email me, please let me know what state your business resides.
i've been looking to speak with someone about what you was talking about GHOST EMPLOYEE. Would really like to speak to you about me being frauded
Hello 👋👋 Thank you for stopping by and leaving your comment. You can email me at nina@ninaross.solutions for any in-depth questions.
Also, and this comes from a good place...The colourful shirts are a no no.A business suit ,a nice decent office, good manicured short nails ,a bit of make-up and contact lenses with a good Afro will work so much better for you.Thank you.Lov you tonz.
Thank you Tonz and no worries on the critique. I have not worn makeup since I was 25 (allergies). I don't wear contacts (eye issues). My hair is natural but as I age it's thinning so don't be surprised if you turn on a video and I shaved my head!🤣 It's the knowledge that keeps Clients paying, new Clients calling and viewers either watching or emailing me.
*MY TWO CENTS* You are correct with regard to clothes, nails, etc IF I worked in an office with a dress code. As a successful self-employed business ops consultant, my "dress code" for me and my Team is to produce measurable results for our Clients and let everyone who watches my channel know that Nina is personally here to help viewers pass exams, resolve an issue or listen to an employee who was terminated, dealing with a lousy boss or help an employee understand why they were terminated.
You would beat me - I am wearing Tshirts in some of my videos!! 😲🤯
Have a great weekend and I'm sure you will get that Ph.D. 🎓
