You can find the soundtrack to "Return to Na Pali", the expansion pack, over here: th-cam.com/video/r7L0MYq4fcM/w-d-xo.html Update, April 24th 2018: I added the original version of "Isotoxin" as an alternative, if, like me, you love the minute-long intro that was omitted from the in-game version.
I wanted to say Thank you SO much for this. You did an EXCELLENT job with setting this up and my hat's off to you and much thanks for all the work you did. You brought back a lot of memories with this game.
To all of you - the thing is- Game making industry is AN INDUSTRY - a BUSINESS, especially today when competition grow, companies are in a hurry for the money+ survival of the company. My point is - no game company will go for atmosphere, style and look like the old days games were- like Unreal or Serious Sam. They will not want to sacrifice the choice of using (abusing) latest graphics technologies thinking it will be a drawback and they will fall behind. So instead of making a game with deep environment feel, gameplay and interesting story - they will go for cookie-cutter top trechnologies just to chase the "$$$". Our best hope is custom-made games using old school Unreal 2 engine. That goes for everyone's effort in keeping together the old school community, encouraging custom stuff, planning joint project, ect. It's all mostly volunteer work. I used to make plenty of experimental maps for UT and UT2004, and even uploaded few decent maps online. one of my UT99 maps is DM-Nali_Mines.
Best thing for the industry would be a decline in sales and some big companies falling/downsizing. Would force remaining companies to think outside the box.
It's not really about going backwards. It's about a new way of making fast and easy money. Why make masterpeace like this when you could just make another COD DLC and still sell just as much or even more? Before games was made by geeks for geeks. Now the have "casualized" all games and dumbed them down so that everyone can finish the game.
well we have the newest id fps games, doom 2016 and wolfenstein the new order and the second one, those are great, prey 2017 (really underappreciated) so yeah these were just a few. it's not what it used to be ofcourse but they're very good compared to all the new stuff nowadays.
I swear to God I'll never forget the first time I played this game. The completely incredible atmosphere, the genuine feeling of discovering a planet with it's own culture, history, architecture. I'll never understand how badly wrong Unreal 2 got the tone of this series, and I'm always amazed that what "took off" was the Mutli-player/Tournament stuff. I was never into any of that. This music is brilliant.
It was on a cold winter morning in 1999 when I beat the game, I stayed up all night for that The ending title 2:15:10 came with the first light of dawn through my window. Probably one of the most memorable gaming moments I had in my life so far.
Sir Christopher Lee re-read the Lord of the Rings every single year without fail. I play through the Unreal campaign every single year, and have done so since 1998.
As a fellow gamer I must say that's serious commitment. It's not always easy to do that with all the new games coming out and all of life's obstacles getting in the way. Good for you.
This is the golden era of video games. Awesome combination of music and atmosphere. They don't do this anymore. We hope with the whole world for a re-release!
09:35 - the moment when the corridor got dark and the skaarj attacked you and suddenly the way back was covered in freshly spawned enemies. With that song one of the most intense scenes in video game history.
+Jesper Lerch i played this only recently at the age of 19 and that part in the hallway still caught me so offgaurd i had to redo it skaarj kicked my ass so hard
ianciti I laughed at "Skaarj kicked my ass so hard" lol It's really nice to see someone try it nowadays for the first time! As you play, imagine the feeling of that being a beloved game from your childhood that brings back fond memories! I hope you enjoyed!
3:50 that will always be one of the most memorable moments in games for me.. Stepping out of the ship & that music.. Looking over that cliff at the water below.
I once had a different life. Being wrongfully accused, and aboard the prison ship Vortex Rikers, enroute my final prison destination, I survived the ship's crash on the uncharted planet of Na Pali. Fate had given me a chance to escape. What ensued was an adventure through the world of two suns. I was hunted by many a foreign enemy, but helped by a few natives. After a long arduous journey through the unimaginably beautiful atmosphere that was almost "Unreal", I finally escaped - and returned to my reality. I had escaped the clutches of Na Pali - but it left me... sad. Very sad. Ever since that experience, I long for that old life - to return to the world of Na Pali. To traverse it again. To see NyLeve falls from the cliff of the crash site, visit Rrajigar Mines, Temple of Chizra, The Sunspire, the crashed ISV Kran, and so much more. To see the glowing lights with surrounding fog, and the two suns! The thought of that world brings me peace. I know you all long to return to it. We do not each other. But are united through this experience.
There are lots of modern indie FPSes based on Duke, Doom, and Half-Life, but no games that recreate the atmosphere of the original Unreal. We need more Unreal-likes!
The first game I ever bought in 1998 when I was 8 years old with my own money. I was completely lost in this world, enjoyed every second of it with eyes open wide and mouth literally fallen open out of amazemend. The unreal graphics, unreal music. The weapons were amazing. I remember being so sad and let a tear go when emotions took hold of me reading all the pda logs of the dead crash survivors. So sad, so uplifting. I love this game so much.
First game I ever played on my own, in about 2001, and same here. They really took the time to get across the devastation, horror, and loss of life. As a kid that was a very powerful thing to witness, and to play it felt more like a movie than a game. Prisoner 849 forever!!
My dad played this back in the day and he introduced this to me as one of the first video games I’ve ever played. Brilliant game.Chizra is my favorite.
Ah! The late 90's...the golden age of gaming where creativity and technology was showcasing in gaming the greatness of human minds. And Unreal is the greatest FPS of that era, and hence, the GOAT! The awe and jaw-dropping reaction when watching the Castle fly-by first time in Fall 98 as a kid...nothing....NOTHING can come close to it! And then the feeling/reaction repeated with each level...The opening waking up inside Vortex Riker with those screams, leaving Vortex Riker(arguably the greatest moment in FPS history), the caves/mines, the first appearance of Skaarj, Chizra Temple....Truly mind-blowing!!!
I finished Unreal this past month for the first time. I remember this game from many years ago but never got around to playing it on a modern PC until the past year. I was completely blown away by this game. The soundtrack is so atmospheric, from the minute you left the prison ship and see Na Pali for the first time. It is such a shame this game is forgotten as a great FPS game. I had way more fun with this than Half-Life that gets 3x more praise. Shame on Epic for delisting the games from stores, not wanting to continue selling the game that built their house.
Michiel van den Bos a straight up guy. Think he works freelance on projects and sometimes in a dutch bar. Would love to meet him but i think he is not really into stardom.
Hi MaxOfS2D. I really want to express my appreciation for such a good work. Besides the excellence of the game itself, this soundtrack really makes the special enviroment you been submerged. I remember to plan Unreal with the lights off and my headphones on, and was a beautiful experience back in 1999. Your soundtrack compilation make me decide to install again Unreal (after 15 years!) and kill some skaarj's. Thanks again.
Having just replayed the game I only now realize how timeless the gameplay actually is. In terms of basic fps mechanics, this is already one of the best shooters ever made. And then, there's also everything else, the soundtrack, the level design, the graphics...
Surfacing never cease to impress me Its rare to see a song filled with so much soul even back then, nowdays most songs are pandering, made for someone, but this perfectly encorporates the feeling of the place its in.
Almost never heard more atmospheric music any more. Today's games are great. They are very detailed, have nice graphics and you can spend a lot of time with playing it. But playing such games like unreal or thief was just impressive and unforgettable. I love Unreal's Atmosphere and I play it on every turn of the year
makes me happy to see there are still people that appreciate this old gem of a game!! :) nostalgia at its finest! :D my personal favorite 07:02 - 04. Shared Dig :P
This brings back some mad flashbacks, back when I was 14 years old and been playing it for the first time. The gameplay, graphics and level design are awe inspiring, but the soundtrack is what tops it off for me.
oh yes. the moment you got out of Riker, saw that multi sun sky, birds, those funny rabits and huts empty with signs of violence .. collectiing fruits to replenish that little health you have .. jumping from cliff to piranas ... oh my god, how lucky I was to play this as my first game
Thank u for this great upload with the download links as well, Unreal is an amazing franchise and I only got into it a month ago or so as I didn't have a PC in my adolescence. Cheers to everyone bumping this in late 2023.
I'll never forget the magical feeling of listening to Dusk Horizon, after making it off the ship for the first time and exploring the open world, unlike anything I'd seen before. I was probably 9 the first time I played.
Unreal was on of the first games I ever played on PC. This soundtracks stand deep in my heart, especially the Flightcastle. Every time I listen to it goosebumps cover all over my hands. Brilliant masterpiece in the world of soundtracks.
I don't know how to thank you. This brings back so many memories. I haven't heard some of these tracks in nearly 20 years, yet I instantly remember them and can place them, quite vividly so. All the levels and countless hours spent on this game are coming back to me. What a nostalgia trip. I remember waiting for this game to come out and getting it on release. Nearly failed my uni exams because I spent playing it the night before instead of studying. It was revolutionary when it came out, in so many ways, in its graphics, storytelling and, obviously - musically. Thanks again, especially for the FLAC files.
It's 2021 and I love Unreal. I love the vast, brilliantly designed locations, the atmosfere surronding them and the EPIC soundtrack. Straylight production did flawless job. Flawlesssssss.
In case anyone was wondering, the soundtrack for Temple of Vandora is "Unreal Crypt". Brings back great memories. Back then I had an 8MB SiS "dedicated" graphics card - and still, loved this game. This is EPIC stuff ;) - thank you so damn much for uploading this...
man I can still remember the awe I felt when I first climbed out of the Rikers and looked around at the world. The music swelled perfectly and I was just stunned at the incredible (at the time) graphics.
Max, doing the Lord's work on this one. I got around to purchasing Unreal CD soundtrack some years back, blindly and not looking at the track listing, and was disappointed they did not include many of the bangers that I had become accustomed to listening to your upload. It would be amazing if Laced Records or someone were to use the full soundtrack for a vinyl pressing some day.
This was the first game I ever touched, and it was quite the nostalgic trip togo back and play it again recently. But if there was one thing I remember absolutely *LOVING* about this game, it's the banger soundtrack. The atmosphere and feel it gave to the game are simply unmatched. So thank you dearly for uploading this. A soundtrack as good as this needs to be remembered.
Jez i'm 40 years old now. But I'll never forget the first time I saw this game... I had gone to pick up my vert first CD writer from and ad in the newspaper. And the guy selling me the writer told me I just had to see this. And I saw Unreal for the first time, on a 3DFX Voodoo 2... My eyes almost shot out of my head.. REALTIME REFLECTION, DYNAMIC LIGHTING!.. I thought when I saw Quake for the first time it was special.. But Unreal just blew all my systems. Even the software Render engine they had was great... It's crazy to see what unreal engine has evolved into now. UE5 with Nanite and Lumen.. But I will never forget that first time seeing the main menu loop on the first Unreal.
Sir, I would personally shake your hand for ripping and assembling this soundtrack in such a rewarding fashion. My favorite song is All Hallows Sunset (1:19:37). I found this level to be... Romantic? Calming, to say the least. The stars are shining, torches illuminate the windows, the waterfall off in the distance.... My friends and I would hang out at the Inn during Co-op play.
Thank you for you effort, I really appreciate it. I still remember the first time I ran Unreal in my Pentium 2 with a 3dfx card. I will never forget that visual and sound experience.
Great job. Always loved the Unreal soundtrack but was dissatisfied with existing rips. This does it justice - you've obviously put a lot of thought into how to present these songs, which is not obvious given each file was intended to be looped and each has several different patterns. Well done.
I remember riding my bike in the pouring rain during the summer after grade-school was done, all the way to the book store to pick up this newly released game. Who knew that it would have such an impact on me...
I honestly can't pick a favorite. This game shaped who I am today. This game shaped the literal core of my beliefs. I used to play online every single day after middle school. I'd join the UAS/SKA Server, and have a blast with my mates. I then would jump to the "Zombie" server, which was a modded co-op version of the game. If more than 10 people joined, there would be thousands of monsters to kill. Anyhow, I first played his game when i was 8/9 years old. Ever since, I've been hooked into fps games. man, this brings up so many memories.
Surfacing is like such a trip, especially when it really rolls at 1:16:25 and 1:18:44, oh its so captivating! Makes me wanna play everytime I hear that section.
The Trench is so haunting... You step out into this vast chasm, with nothing to greet you, until you explore a bit and discover NOT ONE BUT TWO of what seemed to be a giant unbeatable boss just a few levels earlier. "Oh, this is just gonna be a regular occurrence I guess"
Oh dude, it's you, that guy who made all those SFM films! I subbed to you like years ago. :D I found this channel by accident when looking for the Unreal RTNP soundtrack, and I can't tell you how much I appreciate you uploading the soundtrack of one my favorite adventure FPS games! What I loved most about Unreal was its mesmerizing atmosphere combined with incredible level design (Sunspire ahoy!), music, and just a very interesting setting and story. Alexander Brandon is an incredibly talented composer, along with the rest of them. The dynamic music was also quite an interesting addition. Coop'd this for the first time with my friend on ParaSaitGames back in 2012. Currently attempting to beat the game on Godlike!! difficulty. Reached the beloved Sunspire so far. lol Personal favorites of mine from the Unreal OST are *Shared Dig*, Chizra, Noork's Elbow, Unreal Crypt, *Valley of the Spires* (nice transition from the calm part to the most epic part btw), Surfacing, Isotoxin, War Gate's nice too, then Red Alert. I really love tracker module music! I'll go pick my favorites from RTNP too. :)
Nostrum84 We played the GOG version of Unreal Gold. It also has coop multiplayer. Great fun! We recorded the entire first time playthrough on our ParaSaitGames TH-cam channel. :)
Agreed, valley of the spires blended with surfacing have so great emotional load. And seriously Unreal was so good its a pity we do not have such adventures these days.
WOW!! That is a job really done well!! I have tried it back then by actually playing the game, recording Analougue to Cassette, and then converted it to CD. Now I have the crystal clear sound of well mastered MP3. With some of the songs, I litterally had goosebumps all over due to the strong reminder of all the hours in the game. Especially Track 28, Main Title, sent tears through my eyes, as especial this track kept me going when things went rough in life back then. The moment that period ended, I recalled that track so viberantly that I litterally began to cry and finnaly hat a sigh of relief that that period in my life was over. Even now as I am writing this comment, and listening to the TH-cam music, I have goosebumps... I downloaded the archive, and sent it to my MP3 player so I can really enjoy it in full qualety. I have a Cowon IAudio-7 player with JBL Headphones. I dont know if there are better headphones out. Neovo.
It was one hell of a game for Pentium II with 4MB video card & Windows 95 OS. Unreal, Unreal Tournament 2000 and Hidden & Dangerous seem to be the best games ever made. Soundtrack of Unreal is excellent. Here & there tracks give flash-backs about old good days. My respect to uploader and folks in the audience. Thanks.
you can't imagine how many memories this OST brings to me!!! awesome soundtrack!! i agree with GreyGiger this is the best soundtrack ever made for a game!!!
On a nostalgia trip, thanks for the upload this is awesome, I get the first past of dusk horizon stuck in my head often, either by chance or just forcing in there haha, man I miss the good old days of gaming and cool soundtracks.... half life, falcon 4, unreal, even pokemon!!
Nostalgia overload!!! I remember when I played Unreal on my first computer back in 99. I couldnt wait to finish my last class so I could get home to play next area of Unreal. Man the memories. Those were fun days 😊 I bet the developers at the time never imagined the bot deathmatch mode would take off the way it did. I ended owning all of the Unreal games that came out.
Now this is the way I remember the soundtrack! Excellent job converting! The UNREAL visuals were, well, unreal with my brand new 3dfx card! lol. This was such a badass game, I played through it no less than 10 times. Thanks for the soundtrack.
Thanks so much for this brother.. Whoever you are im glad & thankful that i found this. I've been searching this for years and got the whole Unreal soundtrack record. Thanks again. ❤
I have so much respect towards the sure of this channel for posting this I am completely obsessed with unreal and still play the singleplayer everyday :)
4. Shared Dig is scary how nostalgic it sounds, by far the best tune in Unreal. It would still sound amazing even if I heard it for the first time now.
You can find the soundtrack to "Return to Na Pali", the expansion pack, over here: th-cam.com/video/r7L0MYq4fcM/w-d-xo.html
Update, April 24th 2018: I added the original version of "Isotoxin" as an alternative, if, like me, you love the minute-long intro that was omitted from the in-game version.
awesome
KingLich oh yeah yeah
I wanted to say Thank you SO much for this. You did an EXCELLENT job with setting this up and my hat's off to you and much thanks for all the work you did. You brought back a lot of memories with this game.
This really should be added to description.
In my humble opinion: the best videogame soundtrack ever made.
this games has its own soul
my memories tell me the same thing
In my humble opinion, i agree. Sometimes i would just sit and enjoy the music of the game.
Agree
it would be quite close with Deus ex 2000 soundtrack, same composers
I am afraid we wont see more games like unreal. The golden age of fps-games.
Marcus lind well, if we all learn how to create a game with graphics, music etc. We could make a fantastic game like Unreal
To all of you - the thing is- Game making industry is AN INDUSTRY - a BUSINESS, especially today when competition grow, companies are in a hurry for the money+ survival of the company. Multiplayer took off so much that I wasn't even aware that a single player game started the franchise. Heard about it in Ahoy's tracker video.
It was on a cold winter morning in 1999 when I beat the game, I stayed up all night for that
The ending title 2:15:10 came with the first light of dawn through my window. Probably one of the most memorable gaming moments I had in my life so far.
You almost made a tear shed from my eye. Must be a very fond memory. I have a bunch with Unreal myself.
what a magical moment..
Damn it, man. What you said hit me pretty hard, as I was reading through your comment while listening to the track. Perfect!
Legendary moment where game and reality came to fruition!
This is truly an Unreal experience you had. You hit me.
Sir Christopher Lee re-read the Lord of the Rings every single year without fail. I play through the Unreal campaign every single year, and have done so since 1998.

Jesus H. Christ, and I thought I was the only one. Let's coop in 2017?
You're doing God's work.
MisterGibbycrumbles Playing here once every 2 years. Hi
The year I was born...
This is the golden era of video games. Awesome combination of music and atmosphere. They don't do this anymore. We hope with the whole world for a re-release!
perfect game and soundtrack... unrivaled. pure atmosphere.
Rich Sunhill pure atmosphere! it'll become 20 this may.
Happy Birthday Unreal. since 1998 - F O R E V E R :)

ianciti I laughed at "Skaarj kicked my ass so hard" lol It's really nice to see someone try it nowadays for the first time! As you play, imagine the feeling of that being a beloved game from your childhood that brings back fond memories! I hope you enjoyed!
Especially on unreal difficulty...
Blady02 Never tried unreal difficulty... is it that Hard?
3:50 that will always be one of the most memorable moments in games for me.. Stepping out of the ship & that music.. Looking over that cliff at the water below.

Epic, also the same with Half Life plus plenty of sweet sweet grin moments too.
Late 90's was the peak of FPS gaming...

WOW. Your comment makes it all worth it. The entire team worked like dreamers on this game. Developers don't care like we did anymore.
I agree, this game was sooo amazing, I couldnt believe it.
OMG... that feeling when I hear this soundtrack. It's like I've been transferred to time when the world still make sense.
Timeless music for a timeless game.
07:02 Shared Dig is my favorite game soundtrack. ❤️😍❤️
Same!!! This song brings back so many memories
So many goosebumps from this one soundtrack. They had no idea what they had back in 1998.
My dad played this back in the day and he introduced this to me as one of the first video games I’ve ever played. Brilliant game.Chizra is my favorite.
ikr
Same for me!
Same for my son
01:05:48 - 14. Valley of the Spires. The most epic song in the whole game. Really captures the essence of being lost "on" an alien hostile world...
My favourite is Bluff Eversmokin 1:29:00. Loved that map and the music fitted it brilliantly. Quite John Carpenter-esque
Bluff eversmoking, absolutely agree.
1:12:45
*on a hostile alien world...
surfacing.
used it in my maps a lot back in the days

Everyday i listen to Unreal Sountracks ... Miss my childhood so much ...
So epic!!
why is it so depressing every time I miss my childhood?
Same
two real genius: Alexander Brandon & Michiel van den Bos
Michiel van den Bos also did some deus x music
@@disfuncionexe They both made Deus Ex and I agree - they both making very nostalgic, soul touching music
Absolutely. Both brilliant creators to work with.
Michiel van den Bos a straight up guy. Think he works freelance on projects and sometimes in a dutch bar. Would love to meet him but i think he is not really into stardom.
This deserves more likes!
This deserves ALL the likes in the world.
100 thumbs up to this uploader for his devotion to provide us with times AND links!!!
3:10 Dusk Horizon gives me the most nostalgia!
It gives me commdore amiga vibes. Truly a real 90s game :)

Same feeling!!!!
Sometimes, you just can't beat the classics.
Having just replayed the game I only now realize how timeless the gameplay actually is. In terms of basic fps mechanics, this is already one of the best shooters ever made. And then, there's also everything else, the soundtrack, the level design, the graphics...
excellent work putting the level in the background for each song, definitely adds to the experience thank you
cudnt agree more :)
Surfacing never cease to impress me
Its rare to see a song filled with so much soul even back then, nowdays most songs are pandering, made for someone, but this perfectly encorporates the feeling of the place its in.
Kinda cringy comment but somewhat agree
Almost never heard more atmospheric music any more. Today's games are great. They are very detailed, have nice graphics and you can spend a lot of time with playing it. But playing such games like unreal or thief was just impressive and unforgettable. I love Unreal's Atmosphere and I play it on every turn of the year
Perfection.
makes me happy to see there are still people that appreciate this old gem of a game!! :) nostalgia at its finest! :D
my personal favorite 07:02 - 04. Shared Dig :P
This brings back some mad flashbacks, back when I was 14 years old and been playing it for the first time.
The gameplay, graphics and level design are awe inspiring, but the soundtrack is what tops it off for me.
When you first load the game up and hear that intro theme, having no idea what you’re about to get into. This game is legendary
When this bit comes in... Got chills every. damn. time. 00:04:39
oh yes. the moment you got out of Riker, saw that multi sun sky, birds, those funny rabits and huts empty with signs of violence .. collectiing fruits to replenish that little health you have .. jumping from cliff to piranas ... oh my god, how lucky I was to play this as my first game
So much better than the crappy 30 minute cd that came with the game. Thank you.
It's May 22, happy birthday Unreal! 🎉🎊🎉🎊❤️❤️❤️
The combat sequence starting at 5:27 has lived in my memory for years. I got goosebumps all over.
Thank you so much for this! High Quality and Correct Order! Been looking for this for ages.
Deus ex also a game which made me horny
wat
Dusk Horizon, All Hallows Sunset and Shared Dig ❤
All Hallows Sunset for sure. Na'pali Haven was such a relaxing and beautiful level.
I would add the Flightcastle and Nali Chant too. ❤️
Dusk Horizon is the best. I miss the '90s.
man I can still remember the awe I felt when I first climbed out of the Rikers and looked around at the world. The music swelled perfectly and I was just stunned at the incredible (at the time) graphics.
Oh, fuck, you did it, you made Dark Arena battle music loop! You ARE the best!
It's pretty awesome what people do with module tracker music.
80s to early 2000s. The best decades human kind have gone through. Unforgettable, unbeatable times
00:07:02 - 04. Shared Dig, 01:13:44 - 15. Surfacing, 02:14:22 - 28. Main Title, 00:03:08 - 03. Dusk Horizon,
Shared Dig - the best! :)
Dusk Horizon is so amazing. I remember hearing it when playing for the first time and getting goose bumps.
Awesome, Unreal
Thanks for this. The music is as good as I remember. Some of it still gives me goosebumps. The nostalgia is real.
Thank you for posting a complete track with both the strolling and fight music parts of each song!
Ahoy brought me here and damn, this is really cool.
People always loved Dusk Horizon but I love Valley of the Spires the most. It's just so calming and it's also great when great sp mods use it
I've come across this video tonight and you made me remember my childhood. I was 13 then. Thanks a lot. I cried at some point.
20 odd years on....i am still playing :)
I will never forget this game !! Bluff Eversmoking my favorite track
Thank you for you effort, I really appreciate it. I still remember the first time I ran Unreal in my Pentium 2 with a 3dfx card. I will never forget that visual and sound experience.
Awesome... I'll never forget the Unreal music. Thanks for the upload!
Good old days... thank you.
THE ATMOSPHERE! So many memories
Unreal I the best music for PC games ever composed after 20 years still extraordinary!
Damn, I utterly underestimated the power of "War Gate". Been listening from 01:28:36 - 01:51:08 on repeat. All amazing tunes.
goosebumps + tears, that's how powerful good memories are
Surfacing is like such a trip, especially when it really rolls at 1:16:25 and 1:18:44, oh its so captivating!
I found this channel by accident when looking for the Unreal RTNP soundtrack, and I can't tell you how much I appreciate you uploading the soundtrack of one my favorite adventure FPS games!
Currently attempting to beat the game on Godlike!! difficulty. Reached the beloved Sunspire so far. lol
Personal favorites of mine from the Unreal OST are *Shared Dig*, Chizra, Noork's Elbow, Unreal Crypt, *Valley of the Spires* (nice transition from the calm part to the most epic part btw), Surfacing, Isotoxin, War Gate's nice too, then Red Alert.
I really love tracker module music! I'll go pick my favorites from RTNP too. :)
***** what? Unreal coop mode? how?
Nostrum84 We played the GOG version of Unreal Gold. It also has coop multiplayer. Great fun! We recorded the entire first time playthrough on our ParaSaitGames TH-cam channel. :)
1:12:43 - 1:13:54... Memories!
Agreed, valley of the spires blended with surfacing have so great emotional load. And seriously Unreal was so good its a pity we do not have such adventures these days.
unreal 2 was bad imo, I guess that's why they didn't wanted to continue it :/
My favourite music from the game as well
KingLich i would love to see a remaster of unreal gold, it would be so awesome.
Man... so many memories, thank you so much for such an amazing work.
Greetings from Chile!
Thanks.
You really seem to appreciate this classic as it deserves. Thank you for honoring Unreal and it's fans with this piece of work
Master piece!
you can't imagine how many memories this OST brings to me!!! awesome soundtrack!! i agree with GreyGiger this is the best soundtrack ever made for a game!!!
Shared Dig
Dusk Horizon.... CHILLS!!! F^CKING AWESOME!!!!
This game was really something else. Despite the 1998 graphics few other games since have come close to the level of atmosphere and immersion
Thank you MaxOfS2D!
4. Shared Dig is scary how nostalgic it sounds, by far the best tune in Unreal. It would still sound amazing even if I heard it for the first time now.
You used the perfect version of Nightvision which I really appreciate. The ending bit is so much better than the one in-game or from beta.
OMG.. It is surround mix? Very impressive for TH-cam, thank you and youtube both.
