FHP, Orlando PD, Orange & Osceola Sheriff MASSIVE response to shooting scare at Premium Outlets [4K]

- At approximately 3 PM on Sunday, December 6, 2020, law enforcement officers from Florida Highway Patrol, Orlando Police Department, Orange County Sheriff's Office, and Osceola County Sheriff's Office responded with Orange County Fire Rescue to the Vineland Premium Outlet Mall at 8200 Vineland Avenue for a reported active shooter situation. According to the initial radio dispatch that the fire department received, a physical fight at or near the Nike store resulted in chaos that spread throughout the mall and towards the food court area, with many individuals claiming to have heard gunshots amid the pandemonium. This led to a major multi-agency response and an evacuation of the mall. Police determined that no shots were fired, nor was any individual found with a gun. Multiple people were arrested in connection with the fight, and the mall was reopened about an hour later. Captain 7, Engine 56, Engine 36, Rescue 56, and Rescue 36 were called to stage. #FHP #Police #Charger

most cops or ff are very nice some i have encountered have not been the friendlist but when they protect the public they have a right to have a bad day most are great
@@harrypederson4597 I’ve had a few interactions where they didn’t seem thrilled that I was hanging around a scene, but those calls were also potentially violent in nature and I didn’t have my full photographer gear on so I just looked like an average joe. Usually when I explain why I’m there, they relax. But yes a job like that is full of bad days.

I hated cops when I was younger cause I thought I was billy bad ass and thought they were out to get me, but then as I grew older I looked back on it and 90% of the shit I did was my fault and I would’ve done the same if I was in there shoes.
After I stopped doing stupid shit I haven’t had an encounter with the cops for like 10 years except a speeding ticket, that’s it.

After Orlando had to deal with the Pulse Night Club attack, I would expect nothing less of a response. Better to be prepared then not.
Strangely enough a similar thing happened at this same mall about a week after Pulse. Chairs/tables thrown during a fight in the food court sparked chaos. I didn’t capture any of it; I just listened to the radio. I think the fire department had a full staging for a mass causality incident and swat was there, but this time only about 5 FD units were needed
People don’t know it because Orlando is a huge tourist city so it keeps quiet but shit is dangerous down there

Dawg, i grew up in Orlando! Don’t fucking call me out for not knowing shit in my own city. They don’t go out and advertise how dangerous Orlando is because it’s one of the biggest tourist attractions in the country. If people were to know that it has a lot of crime they’d think twice about going there, which will kill the city’s economy. i live in orlando, and i love all those liveries, pretty surreal for me to see them on youtube because i see them in real life on a weekly basis
I’ve seen them all here and there (mostly Orange where I am) but seeing all 4 at the same place was really strange. Someone out near UCF said that their campus police were responding as well but must have been cancelled before they arrived

FHP's chargers are some of the best painted I've ever seen. When I lived in FL I was always happy to see them, and I saw them often; of all the state patrols in the US, I think they are one of the most active.
Massachusetts State Police are better with that two-toned blue.
Agreed, FHP has one of the best liveries out there. However, as a cali boy, I’m biased towards our own CHP 😅 their livery, light pattern, and (legacy Rockwell/Whelen before the new system) sirens are iconic and truly special compared to other agencies.
The reason you see a lot of FHP activity is because FHP has approximately 2,000 troopers. Other states have significantly less troopers which it makes a difference in how much activity you see. For example, Georgia (a state that we share borders with) only has an approximate of 850 troopers, that’s less then half of what FHP haves. There are other states with much less numbers of troopers.

The same thing actually happened here in 2016 but I wasn’t into fire buffing yet, someone else got a short video but I can’t find it. Took me about 5 mins to get out the door and make it there but I sure picked up the pace when I saw the helicopter!

I saw a crazy response about a two years ago on west colonial dr. There were so many (at least 20) undercovers in minivans, trucks, regular cars. Nothing that I have ever seen before, and I wish I caught it on video.
I’d ask what incident but I can think of several in recent memory along 50. When I was less experienced at this, I did catch some of the response to a suspicious package at an apartment complex with the undercovers like you’re talking about. I remember dodge caravans, a Nissan Rogue, and a few others but I didn’t see them coming so I caught absolutely 0 of them

There were several people in traffic who asked me what was going on and if they could still get into the mall. I was thinking to myself, “There are dozens of emergency vehicles streaming by and traffic is gridlocked. Does it LOOK like you can get into the mall right now?” People don’t like it when their shopping gets delayed.

The TH-cam algorithm is a strange thing, you just sort of find something when TH-cam decides to show you I guess. Nobody really knows how it works, but I’m just happy the video is getting all this attention!
At least no one was seriously injured. I take my vacations in the Orlando area (COVID stopped me this year!!) and like to visit that Mall.. See you next year, hopefully.
Thankfully there aren’t usually high profile incidents like this at these outlets, just a lot of accidents on Vineland and medical calls. Florida Mall and Millennia however are a different story!

Whelen epsilon, Whelen Cencom, Whelen 295, Code 3 Z3, Soundoff Nergey 400, Mastercom B, And the siren at 1:26 is The Code 3 Banshee, With Rumbler.
The dark green chargers are sick looking! The smartest officer was the last trooper that took the median entire way.
Only problem is the median disappears about 300 feet down there and it’s just a two lane road with constantly wet swales on either side. Should have been widened years ago with all the mall traffic but it’s a huge choke point even on good days
I see that. Median needs to disappear. Damn choke point right there as is noted by the vehicles trying to get through. I am all for just shutting down roadways till emergency vehicles have fully accessed area.

I was there when it happened, on lockdown in the Puma store.
I briefly cut through the southwest corner of the mall to get in position for this, and it looked like they had just cleared out that hallway when I went by. Lots of people standing around near the Gap and deputies on foot funneling in towards Nike

Were there not enough deputies from Orange County? I get FHP responding because their jurisdiction is across the state, but why would Osceola County respond?
They came in from Disney springs and i4 area probably a distressed call and any units responded
The Osceola county line is only about 3 miles away from this mall, so any deputies on US 192 near 535 probably responded
Because of the area. There are a lot of nearby departments that’s jurisdiction are around said area. So when something like a possible “mass shooting” is reported, all the departments in the area respond.

Their is been shooting in Orlando International Premium Outlet and they covered it up on January i was in a shooting i heard like shoots. And everything was closed.and it was never covered by the news.
If you’re referring to the Under Armour shooting where a man who was recently fired returned to the mall and shot an employee, that was very well covered by the news. That was a different mall than the one in my video, and no shots were fired during this incident. It was a physical fight which caused panic and led people to believe there was a shooter. This same situation has happened previously at this mall and other malls.

For this, they need to do a containment block around the mall, then if shots fired, swat and police go into building and most of the time shoot and arrest or shoot and kill, but after the containment block they serf up a little spot of swat and another vehicle that is protected by 3,4 other police units, but for this big of a mall they need a LOT of units to do the containment block. Hope that helps 😊
