I used to watch bills videos about 7 yrs ago or so while I was looking around for a truck to use for work. Lol back then he scared me to death about the 6.0s which led me to buy a low mileage (at the time) 7.3. Now that truck has 460k mi and is plumb wore out and beat up. The drive train is still holding up pretty fair but the rest of the truck is falling apart and looks like crap inside and out. Starting to kick the tires on replacing the old girl. He gives me a lot more confidence in a 6 liter these days now that all it's short comings have been learned to be bullet proofed. If I end up getting one I might just have to take it to him so he can do his thing to it. Cheers from Jackson Mississippi
Fluid Film will stop any rust on the underside and protect it from getting worse. Ive used it on my truck since I got it and even with Western Pa winters the underside looks brand new.

Great video. I’m just wondering WHY the F buy an F250 with a diesel engine that only runs 220,000 miles before rebuilding? My 5.4 has almost 300,000 miles on it and still running strong.
Bill ,once I get the extended dealer proof done and I regularly use the arch oil additive will I have to worry about cleaning out the turbo on the exhaust side every 50000 miles

Loved my 2009 but rusted be on repair cab corners rockers and the box. Sold it they use it as a plow truck now, I bought a 2018 ram 2500 Laramie Cummins love it. Enjoy the video

I just had my 2007 f250 dealer proofed, lower end reseal, new injectors, glow plugs,etc. I think my trucks runs better than new with 190000 miles on it. Scott, Bill and his wife, and the Techs at the shop were very courteous and explained everything I asked about the process. They even painted the pulleys, heads, and oil pan, which is unheard of at any other repair shop! I am completely satisfied with the truck and am glad I traveled 400 miles to bring it to them. Thanks so much Powerstroke specilities!!! They will treat you right!!!!!

That is the probable path of my truck, some rust,,,, but not that bad!!! Few engine issues and low power. I’ll be bringing it as soon as I sell off my welding shop!🤞🏼
6.0 soundtrack is awesome! He's right about the Banks diff cover being engineered properly. Those flat covers cause a brick wall effect making the oil work against itself resulting in more heat and friction.

Bill you have to use the “back in black” tinted oil coating from NH oil under coaters. If I may offer some constructive criticism that undercoat job is weak. That frame should look wet. The first treatment on a heavily rusted truck needs to be heavy and extremely thorough because salt is! Great job on these trucks. You are making dreams come true.
The DIf cover you mentioned you’re exactly right the high-quantity ones do not work as well. It’s a fluid dynamic thing not a volume thing. Banks I believe actually has a video on it you chose wisely.
Phosphatize the Iron Oxide back into Steel which not only stops the rust but returns the black color, Then use the oil to protect every year. If he does it next season itll be a true transformation. I grew up in Oaklawn Ill moved to Glenwood, Colorado then Wyoming have zero rust on my two 1997, and 2005. I have a 7.3 IDI that I swore was the best towing and hauling with the best mpg until I bought a bulletproofed 6.0 and I'm seeing 20mpg highway towing with a Moritz flatbed and dump trailer. P.S. selling my 1988 7.3 dually longbed ZF5speed 4.10 rear end 💪
If you had the cab and bed off on it, why not scale down the frame and coat with POR15? Truck looks good but when you look under it now its ehhh. If you had done that and forgone the NH OIL coat the truck would have been way better off
I own a 2006 VW jetta diesel with 400k miles. Started having injector stiction on original injectors starting at about 300k. I used a gallon of Lucas Injector cleaner over two year period and it did nothing..The Archoil worked in six months. Bill's advice saved me from buying new injectors.. I have started to use it in my F-150 and 2stroke outboard. Help a Veteran too.
Dunno...I like Cummins but I agree that the 6.0 is an under appreciated motor...the early years got a bad rap but most of the 6.0s are pretty good engines...delete the EGR, switch the head bolts to studs, good filters and they’ll run forever
I enjoy the videos and I'm in the market for a Dealer Proofed 6.0. Thoughts on leaving the catalytic converter since it is required here in Texas? I would like a diesel for pulling a livestock trailer. I'm not interested in messing with the emission controls on the newer ones, I'm not interested in paying all that money for one of the newer trucks, but I'm also not going to be towing over 10,000 pounds. Probably more in the 8,000-9,000 range and I'd like to have decent fuel economy for a 3/4 or 1 ton loaded and unloaded.
Dang I'm all for restoring but when you replace every part on it you might as well get a different truck in better condition and swap stuff over to it. Good work though! Lots of money.

It makes more sense economically to get an older diesel and restore it unless you have 80k + to buy a brand new one.

Man I wish mine was a 6 speed! But yeah, the 03 ten blade turbo is extremely loud with a straight pipe. Lol!
