I just noticed something about this scene's direction. It wasn't a 2-shot because both men are big. Each episode was a feature film. I mean I hate that it had so many Black people killing each other. But that's life, I suppose.

This just goes to show how little knowledge Stringer had outside of simple manipulation and Avon had outside of being a "street soldier." A simple history lesson would have shown them both (especially String) that in war, you need ALL your generals and troops on the same page. The minute Bodie and those guys started questioning why Stringer would say one thing and Avon would order another was the beginning of the end. Simply put, Marlo and Prop Joe didn't have a number 2 problem. When Joe finally did with Cheese, he was gone smh.
Marlo was a nobody. He only became who he was because of snoop and Chris.
