🎬 I really wanted to include the scene of Cheese and crew assaulting Ziggy but it felt like the video then became too much about Ziggy when I just wanted this to be about Frog
🎬 I wanted the end of that scene to appear like Ziggy was cursing at Frog and the young wigga hopper.
🎬 Leaving in the scene of Herc talking to Carver and Kima strays a bit from the subject of this video too, but I felt the levity added a nice touch.
🎬 I don't usually do fades between scenes but it felt too disjointed to just cut to scenes otherwise.

I love how Nick just sits there looking amused while patiently waiting for Frog to finish his buffoon sales pitch about an even split. You can tell they have a history of interactions similar to this one. These little moments help flesh out these characters and add depth and background that doesn't actually have to be shown.

Growing up close to this area in the 90s, guys like Frog were a dime a dozen. To the outsider they appeared scary or dangerous, but if you knew them growing up "raised on Rappolla Street" and "dragged to St. Casmir's like all the other pisspants", they were just a joke.

I agree, that is when the show starts to really be about the CITY, which in my opinion is what makes it a truly great show
@@tuggback139 I think a lot of people were just confused by how drastically different season 2 is to season 1, and also it wasn't my favorite season when I first saw it because I didn't really know what was going on. But after seeing them all and rewatching several times (several is an understatement), it most certainly is.

I always thought it was weird that Ziggy was parked in front of where Frog was standing and came walking from across the intersection.

There was another video with Frog and the actor who played him talked in the comments about how he enjoyed playing the part but it was his only acting job ever. He said he got a lot of hate for playing a stereotypical white boy wanna be. He seemed like a really good guy.

@@k33p1tc00l The Southern District is a police destination for a fairly large area so basically no one from Baltimore would use the term “Southern Baltimore” but would say the neighborhood they were from like South Baltimore, Riverside or Federal Hill which are all neighborhoods in the Southern District, my point being is that Frog is more correctly a dealer in South Baltimore as opposed to “Southern Baltimore”……. Sorry to be so pedantic but B-mores my hometown and I like to see it done right……. By the way, really enjoying the clips from The Wire, keep’m coming!!!!!!!

Well thank you for the compliment, I never even expected to get this many when I started with maybe 250 last year after a long time hacking it away getting no views on gaming content. I’m actually scared to post any more gaming content here now so I’ve been doing that on my twitch (same name). I am a bit hesitant to try to make it as a content creator when I already have another source of income that I went to school a long time for but I do enjoy it and if it paid the bills I’d gladly switch over and show my face too.
