- Special shout out to Smashburger one of the best burgers I ever had now back to your regularly scheduled program lol after the test drive and after driving my truck home, I definitely felt like my truck was higher off the ground which is weird because it look like the off-road was higher than my truck so which brings me to this conclusion I think the sport is definitely lower than the off-road. I’m not sure, but that’s kind of what it seems like also is definitely going to be hard for me to let go of the third generation Tacoma it’s just a awesome truck. I don’t have any problems with it. The truck runs good it’s fast enough for me. The new truck does drive good and looks good price and reliability. Last year of the V6 Trd Pro. That’s a keeper. Nobody knows how well the 4 banger turbo engine will hold up. Plus never purchase the first year of any new designed vehicle. Just my two cents.

If was me, I would never trade in 2023 Pro for 4th gen Tacoma. Even if Pro get 100,000 miles. I would never trade 2023 Pro for 4th gen Pro, or Trailhunter.😂

Plus, you would get more content by taking that extra money and beefing up that 3rd gen. Guess what you CANT do with the 4th gens? Anything performance-related. Keep that in mind, a supercharged 3rd gen is better than the 4th, and its the same price.

Also, with the pro it’s going to be a highbred, so you’re gonna have to deal with the whole battery situation lol but that’s Toyota strong suit ! the off-road looks awesome. It’s hard to pass on the off-road for the sport, even though I really like the sport, especially in underground, but the fender flares really do it for me. Just Do IT like Nike said. Put it in your head that the only thing Tacoma on this truck is the name. Totally different beast and make sure you get one of the TRD option packages. If you never had a 360 camera or ventilated seats get the Premium.
Lol 😂 I know right the ventilated seats in the fully loaded sport looked awesome I haven’t really seen them that much and I took a quick glance after my test drive and they looked awesome.
@@littlekennytv5668 I have ventilated seats in another vehicle, and I have never used them. If you live in the South, Vegas, AZ,TX then it's useful. I don't have the Premium, but I am hoping that the 360 camera is plug and play so I can install it.

as an engineer no 4 cylinder turbo can last with longevity. Two to four years from now evidence will be evident that 6 cylinders last longer and will have the better resale value

I bought a ‘23 Electric Lime Off Road LB, because it was the last of its kind. I could have waited for a 24, but glad I did not. Every time I look at our truck I feel like we dodged a bullet. Keep your truck Bro….save the ‘24 for somebody trading a Ridgeline.

I already know lol the trucks drive great anyone who says different I don’t know 🤷♂️ lol I get it if you just bought a 22 or 23 you’re probably not in any type of rush to go buy a new truck I get it! And I also get the trucks are pretty expensive and a lot more expensive than the last generation. It does seem like we are getting less doesn’t seem like it we are getting less of some of the standards equipment that was on the previous generation. at the end of the day this is a Tacoma I’m pretty sure Toyota knows what they’re doing they got billions and trillions of dollars to test all this stuff and geniuses and mathematicians and scientist 👩🔬 lol So I think we’re good Lol and another thing warranties warranty warranty warranty thanks for the reply and checking out the channel my friend. @@littlekennytv5668 I got mine in Underground. I know prices are up but trade in prices are up also. I traded a 2019 TRD Sport and 10k to boot not bad for a 5 year old truck. What I have noticed up here in northern Wisconsin there isn’t all the dealer added shit or selling above MSRP, most are around $500 below MSRP.
In my opinion part of the cost increase is all us Tacoma buyers wanted disc brakes,power seats, big screen tv for a radio and the list goes on. All that stuff isn’t free and the stuff this truck doesn’t have that my old one did I never used, plus if you think about it new vehicles usually increase in price about 3-5k a year then add in the inflation we are burdened with now Toyotas prices aren’t out of line. I do wish I got a real spare tire and navigation that’s not subscription based,those are my only complaints on this truck so far.
I wouldn’t get rid of the pro, and the 3rd Gen just looks better, tailgate looks better, front end is more classic looking, side profile is nice.
It’s definitely a beautiful truck. It’s a classic is the last V6 Trd pro in the “hero color” lol 😂 so I definitely want to hold onto it. It’s a awesome truck. I live in Pasadena Maryland, and we used to be the biggest Ravens fans but, I invested over 100k on Mahomes rookie cards when they first came out and now, I'm retired early, lol. I even have they, 2014 scribe card of Mahomes that was a prize at the 2014 national. His first RC and arguably his first auto. Mahomes is double jointed which explains his funny walk, he was drafted by MLB team Detroit Tigers, and offered a multi-million-dollar contract to play baseball and refused it and went to Texas Tech. He was a good basketball player, a great baseball pitcher and slugger, but his true love was Football. Mahomes also played many other sports. I'm not going to admit how much I made off Mahomes rookie cards on TH-cam, lol. In my house, we cheer for Mahomes to win every game. I have the card from 2014 on Ebay, it's at 2 million, lol. I still think your pro looks a lot better than that 24 sport. I finally saw my first gen4 in person and it looks ok, but just kinda feels like toyota tried too hard with all these lines and bulges above the fenders. Still looks pretty good, but not as nice as a Gen3 to me anyway.

If I were in your shoes, I would buy the 4th gen Tacoma. Right now you can get top dollars for your TRD Pro. I would not worry for the engine and the Turbo. Literally, that engine has been in the production for few years. It was first introduced with the 2021 Lexus NX. Moreover, the engine in the Tacoma uses beefier spec'd parts and better cooling.
