All 3 of them Taco's are nice. I paid 73,450.00 for my first house in 1987, 1100 sq. ft. rambler, 3 bedroom 2 full bath, 2 car garage. brand new construction. Sold it in 1993, bought me a new 1825 sq ft Tri Level on 1/2 acre, paid 162,500.00 .

When buying a truck that has a lift and larger tires and new wheels, the Dealer marks it up... however ask for the OEM wheels and tires since you are paying for it.

Just got back back from servicing my 2022 trd sport
Saw my first 2024 tacoma in the parking lot. 2 words. Wicked looking. Was a metallic grey type, 6 foot bed. Fully powered inside, including a rear windows. Polythene bedliner. Fiber flex scratch resistant tonneau cover. 46k. Not bad. Had a lift on it and 285s. I think it's a reasonable price but even at that

2022 off road completely loaded with everything you can possibly get. Premium package 4x4 audio, sensors, heated leather power seats, sunroof, tonneau cover, etc. paid 46k brand new. These prices are ridiculous

Should check out some other options! I picked up a 2024 Colorado Trailboss and cancelled my order for a TRD Offroad Premium Tacoma. I've always been a Toyota fanboy but so far loving this truck! It was legit 15k (Canadian) cheaper than the Tacoma

Colorado has an I4 turbo, not a V6, but I will gladly take the turbo over the previous V6.

This white Taco is damn nice, remember larger tires means more rolling mass, this affects the braking and the gearing is now changed.

@@littlekennytv5668unless it uses GPS for the speedometer/odometer (unlikely) then your speedo will be reading much slower than your actual speedo.. the faster you go the more it will be off. Haven't heard of anyone needing to regear yet on 35's, probably due to the low end torque, but have heard of the turbo overheating... which is a problem you can't really correct for other than getting the lightest wheel/tire combination possible.. lol

They did everything right with these new Taco's except for putting in the 4 cyl Turbo!!!! Should have kept the 3.5 or 4.0 engine !!!! Bad move toyota......now they will see the sales won't sell

Even without those giant tires that little turbo will be glowing red hot all the time.
Those extreme temperatures under the hood will wreck havoc on things like the alternator, starter, not to mention the oil.
I think these things will burn alot of oil.

They are selling them slowly, but surely I haven’t been seeing a ton of them on the road. I like my truck stock I hate it when companies add useless shit to a truck I don't want a lift, ugly rims, or expensive shitty tires. Finding a stock Toyota truck is rare I know the dealerships by me everything is lifted with ugly rims to get that extra markup cash.
Toyota designers are on point, that white Tacoma it sharp looking! however, I just don't get it, I have a 07 4.0 V6 4 runner and get 18-19 highway 16-17 city MPG. now the 2.4 4 cycl. gets only 21 combined?

Toyota priced the tacoma out of the market for what you get. They went tech crazy with this truck which most is useless like the E-parking brake and removable sound speaker while at the same downgrading the tacoma's drivetain reliability with the 4cyl turbo. They should have just kept the remod simple and dumped the 6sp on the 3rd gen and bolted a 8sp transmission with suitable gear ratios to the 3.5 v6, and given it a proper tune so it shifts smooth. I would have paid 50k for that drivetrain on a tacoma, but not for a 4cyl turbo.

It’s so disappointing. I’ve had the previous gen Tacoma and currently the 5th gen 4Runner. For now I don’t have any enthusiasm to get one of the next gen of either. Toyota, you already had us wanting more and you screwed it up.
No, not worth it- dealer lifts are overpriced leveling kits and spacers on the 1-7/8 diameter entry Bilsteins and the rim and tire weights kill your mileage- you can go out for under the 10k they charge and have a nice wheel and tire package with Icons or Kings for an actual offroad ready truck- also negative offset gives tire poke, positive sucks the wheels in-
That SR5 is up my alley- I’d take those running boards off and put sliders on- I’d pay 40k

U have owned American made trucks n their good made. First time I bought TRD sports Tacoma 3rd generation. My understanding Japanese was allowed to sell cars in the US because of manufacturing jobs in Th e US. Now Toyota lost its grip n decided to make cars in Mexico which is for cheaper labor rates. I paid nearly $40k on my Tavoma but now the 2034 starting at $50k plus. That's pure greed n this where I stopped buying Toyota. I just can't justify the price period n evn they give a discount is simply ridiculous. Only a suck up will pay for $50kmid size truck.
Bought my 2014 trd sport brand new for 32k now they want 50K + what are they smoking 🚬 on I want some 😂 they have price us out everything went up accept ours wages 🤦♂️

Again, dealers modifying the truck so they can raise the price and rip off customers. Fitting 35" tires on this thing would require the removal of the crash plates to avoid any kind of rubbing. I'm wondering if that is even legal for the dealer to do, to remove factory installed safety equipment/features and still sell the vehicle as New and not have any potential liability concerns. Imagine someone buying this and getting into a serious wreck and not knowing that the dealer removed parts that were designed to protect the driver/passengers in the event of a collision.
I really wish I would have bought a Gen 3 when I had the chance. I will not pay the prices they are asking for now. I will keep my Gen 2. I suspect in 12-18 months Toyota will have lots full of over priced Tacomas.
