I made these for the first time yesterday on Christmas Eve to be baked on Christmas morning, they were FANTASTIC! Everyone loved them and said they were the best they've ever had. The previous title holders were the local bakery down the road, they weren't sourdough but they were fantastic. Unfortunately, they recently closed their doors, only to sell them in a few select shops. I can tell you these will grace our table for years to come, and they're so much cheaper/tastier! Thank you so much for posting! 😄🤩🎄
I love how you overcame not having an ingredient and was able to use something from your homestead! Those rolls looked so good. I know your children loved them!
This looks fantastic. Holly has been making all sorts of sourdough items (bread, pizza crusts, English muffins, etc.). This looks like it'd be a great addition to her recipe book! Thanks for sharing!
This is too funny! I woke up this morning and decided to make cinnamon rolls. The dough is proofing now. Your rolls look delicious. My suggestion for the day is to use your lard in your dough as the fat. You buy butter & lard is in your pantry. 💚🌞
Yes! Love this idea! I have to render the leaf lard down yet. I have never baked with it yet but can’t wait! I wouldn’t have thought to use it in cinnamon rolls! Thank you! The other lard is that pork flavored kind so I use it for veggies and meat mostly.
Hi from BC Sara, I absolutely love the way you did the butter, brown sugar mixture on the stove to a thicker consistency!! I don't have home grown honey, but I'm wondering if my store bought would work for the frosting... which by the way, yours looked great! Have a super day!
I am sure your honey will work great! Mine was solidified so I got a few little pieces in there that didn’t smooth out. I think it would have worked even better as a liquid. It certainly has more of a sweet buttery taste than my usual frosting but delicious!
The recipe isn’t listed. I had to do it old school. Watched video, paused video and wrote down the amounts that flashed across the screen. Time consuming, would appreciate a link to the recipe or see it in the description as you stated. Thank you for making the video
New subscriber here. We made these last weekend and sent them to work with my wife to share with her crew and got great reviews. The honey really works. Thank you so much.
So glad that I'm not the only 1 that can't make picture perfect looking cinnamon rolls. I try and I will keep trying but glad I'm not the only one
😁

Hi I noticed you commented on everyone’s post except the ones asking for the recipe. Was there a reason why? Would love the recipe.
We didn’t right it down. Do we need to make it again when we have time to measure everything.
why do you add so much starter
It makes it so good 😊
