Hey I have a pretty difficult Yu-Gi-Oh! Question that involves Converging Wills Dragon. So let’s say that I have the Continuous Spell “Arrive in Light” face up on my field, with Converging Wills Dragon already stacked on top of my Deck due to Arrive in Light’s effect. Now I use 2 Monsters and Synchro Summon “Chaos Ruler, the Chaotic Magical Dragon” right? And now I’m *assuming* that a trigger chain happens right at this moment, with Chaos Ruler’s on Summon effect to excavate and Arrival in Light’s on Summon effect to draw a card both going off. I would go Chain 1 Chaos Ruler, Chain 2 Arrive in Light. With the intention to draw a card first, and then excavate the top 5 cards of my deck afterwards. *Now my question* is… in this scenario, can Converging Wills Dragon miss the timing to activate it’s effect to Special Summon itself from my hand?
Yes it misses the timing. The last action that MUST happen for Converging Wills Dragon to activate is it drawing itself. So if Arrive in Light is CL2, it will draw CWD, then CR, the Chaotic Magical Dragon will excavate 5, and CWD will not trigger because it was not the last action that was performed because Chaos Ruler sending cards to GY and adding was the last action.

Not really. For example normal summon cir and special summon scarm from hand make dante in the extra monster zone and link away dante for gravity controller. you can go chainlink 1 cir summoning dante from the gy chain link 2 dante you chain blocked the summon from gy effect of cir with dante. Both cir and dante are "if" effects and you can choose not to activate them.

Hey Coder, i am a new player playing Yugioh Duel Links. i`ve come across your Videos and they are really helpful! i`ve got 2 Rulung questions that i`ve encountered myself: 1st: if i succesfully resolve Vendread Battlelord´s effect to disable Spells, why can my opponent protect his Brave Neos with the effect of Neos Fusion in the grave? 2nd: My opponent has a Yubel Terror Incarnate on the Field. normaly if this leaves the field it will summon the Yubel the ultimate Nightmare. i`ve resolved the effect of Gishki Soulogre targeting the Yubel Terror incarnate and it didn´t activate to summon the ultimate nightmare. Did my opponent just misclick or is there a ruling that disables Yubel`s effect? Thanks alot and keep it up!
1: Vendread Battlelord only prevents the opponent from “activating” spells, neos fusion’s graveyard effect does not activate/start a chain 2: Cards that are shuffled into the deck/extra deck cannot activate their “leaves the field” effects Hope this helps!
