A part of me actually died after watching the true ending. And you can just imagine the shocked expression on Viola (in Ellen's body) when her own father points his gun at her, thinking he was putting a misshapen and bloodied creature out of its misery, only that, unknown to him, he would kill his own daughter, and none would be the wiser, as Ellen (in Viola's body) had got away with assisted murder of sorts. I can't help but feel nothing but sadness and contempt for Ellen at this point.
***** The only "happy" ending there is, is for Ellen. ...so, in the True end, she is finally rid of her ugly, bedridden, diseased life of all those years, not having to think of her mother and father anymore... She is finally leaving in a body where she is 'reincarnated' into a working body and refresh ijnto a life that every girl deserves. She was isolated from everyone and parents ignoring her was unimaginable torture. Possibly the disease could have been comparable to the Black Plague or something. She can throw her nightmare of a past away. (not that the Real Viola deserved to have her soul devoured like that, but hey, it was the only solution for Ellen for she did not want to die to such a bad disease... and it was truly Viola's choice to wander off to the forest like that and end up with Ellen's house, if she didn't argue with her dad like that and talked with him better so that she didn't need to explore outside, she wouldn't have landed in Ellen's/Cat Demon's trap...)
Misao Demonescense ellen is finally free of many things, And even it was bad for Viola to die her past is much more of a mystery as Ellen's story was revealed alot and sympathetic. You could only tell viola argued with her father and she was even perhaps a bit rebellious. Ellen was desperate and maybe vengeful for her parents and disease.
I felt no remorse for Ellen, I hope Viola gets a second chance at life or some redemption and the demon stalks Ellen until the day she dies... Or Ellen meets another witch and she falls for her own trick. Karma at it's worst.

This is why I would give this game a negative review. It makes you feel like you can't trust anyone. Of course, you could say for Othello now that I think of it...at least Iago didn't get off scot-free.

Hey guys, you know what's funny ? I remember I played the game, I saw the first end, and I was like "omg, no need to kill her, poor witch !" Then I heard there was the true end, with that skill to get the knife, I was so trying hard this moment, and finally, the knife ! The end ! And then... OMG WHAT WAS THIS ENDING SO SAD
This game changed my life forever, I just can’t describe the shocking moment when Viola (in Ellen’s body) looks at her father trying to tell her with desperation, just to receive two shots, this people…is the SADDEST ending in video game history.
Night Flame 2000 Well, (spoilers) Ellen was human and grew up with a terrible illness as you know, and every day her mom and dad come in her room to take care of her, however Ellen notices that they don’t seem very pleased to waste their time trying to make her better. So she kills them. The back cat then comes along and rewards her for giving him two souls to feed on. He turns her into a witch, with her very own big house, and makes her beautiful again. However, she still has her illness. But it only comes back if she steps outside. The black cat tells her, if she kills enough people, he’ll give her medicine to make her better. So she turns evil and emotionless, killing people or making her house kill people every day. Eventually, the cat is pleased with her work and gives her the medicine. The only thing is though, she has to trade bodies with Viola. So she controls Viola to come into her house, and shows her that she’s sick, making Viola feel guilty. Viola comes over a lot, until one day the cat tells her the truth about Ellen, and what she plans to do to her. But Viola didn’t believe him. So she went over one last time. And bam. Ellen switches bodies with her, leaving Viola to die.
Still hate her. Also the book show that she has sociopathic tendencies (such to announce be above good and Evil) from the start without the demon influence and don't forget that she sacrifices a uncount number of children souls to get her powers. Also if you read some spellbooks in the house she says: "It's not so bad to not have powers...for while!"Implying that she gonna return to her behavior even if get what she wanted and steal all Viola life.
When first played this I just saw this as a normal pc horror game but when I got this ending I was completely shocked and made think more about these kind of games.

After a while, come Viola father and Ellen in the Viola body hides behind father Viola. Viola in the body of Ellen begins to crawl toward him, but his father Viola knows that the witch what to him is his daughter, crawling, so she shoots. And Ellen in the body Viola begins laughand say Good bye Viola .....And Viola father leaves Viola with witch. Sad.......
i cant help but shed tears when i think about a scene where somebody's friend is dying and they stay by their side until they pass. it's so sad ad this song would make the scene very powerful and emotional. thank you for posting this extended version.

Dude Ellen felt no sympathy for Viola or any remorse for what she did to her. She deliberately gouged her eyes out and cut off her legs to make sure Viola would despair as she died. From the moment she found Viola in the forest, she spent every moment they interacted toying with her until finally getting the trust she needed to steal her body. Ellen even SNICKERS as she walks away from Viola after having been shot by her own father.

Knowing what's in store if I replaced Viola's position, there's just no way I'd trade places. I'd question anyone's sanity if they'd be willing to have their legs forcibly amputated, their eyes gouged out, their throat burned, shot 2 times in the head, then have their soul devoured by a demon. Who in their right mind would endure that much suffering on purpose? You'd have to be masochistic beyond comprehension. With that said, I would at least prevent Viola from swapping bodies with Ellen. That way Viola wouldn't go through such a horrific fate.

Honestly? Not very satisfying. Given the fact that the switch happened right before the game starts, all you do is wait in the flowerbed for about an hour until the roses wilt. "When the witch's flowers wilt, the witch dies." So really you're just waiting out how long the real Viola can last in a body that's falling apart...

Honestly? Not very satisfying. Given the fact that the switch happened right before the game starts, all you do is wait in the flowerbed for about an hour until the roses wilt. "When the witch's flowers wilt, the witch dies." So really you're just waiting out how long the real Viola can last in a body that's falling apart...
