Yes of course! They’re a franchise now. Their pizza is solid. You could do takeout at the window or try to wait for a table inside. I’ve only been there once for takeout & it was pretty good 👍🏻

What does the service or ambiance have to do with anything?!? Most of these places will be carryout, and who cares how the service is? Nobody wants to hear your opinion about what the neighborhood around Scarr's is like (it is fine, by the way). That place regularly tops best NYC pizza slices lists, and you liked it third best, so why is it at the bottom of your list? These ratings need to be for the pizza *only!*
Haha thanks for the comment man. I include service and ambiance in all of my reviews bc they’re two of the most important aspects of ANY business. It’s restaurant 101. At the end of the day, pizzerias are restaurants and thus are expected to uphold certain standards of hospitality and quality service. If you think that doesn’t matter, then that’s your opinion. We’ll agree to disagree. For these “slice shops”, I don’t factor it in as much as the taste of the pizza itself. But I still think it’s important info for everyone to know about. Even if it means little to you personally.
You could disagree if you’d like. I respect that. Everyone’s opinions are different. I give you my ratings for all the places I visit to use as a starting point. Use it with your own desires, judgment & taste profile. Whatever is most helpful to you is my ultimate goal so thanks for pointing that out.
@@YangYummm Yes, I would like to disagree. You are getting your slices and sitting at counter-service table or getting them to go. You are not there for the service or ambiance. If you were eating at a sit down restaurant, it would be totally different. The only thing that matters for slices on the go is the *taste* (and I'm not arguing with you about that). When you add those other factors in, you are needlessly skewing the scores for things that don't matter. That is unfair to the better-quality slice places, and makes your ratings less relevant.
