You need to go to the Bronx, where I was raised. The places to go are the Botanical Gardens and the Bronx zoo, which are across from each other and you can eat at Mario's of Arthur Ave..our little Italy
Grand Central Terminal is another must see and eat there. Really enjoyed your fun video of NYC! Love you two! Perfect match. Looking forward to #50. Aloha.
Queens is the most underrated borough IMHO, plenty of endless good food from all over the globe. Brooklyn Roasting Company is a must for the coffee next time you’re there, Grimaldi’s pizza is also right around the corner. Good to see all is well!
We've been 2 times to NYC. Once with our kids when they were 4, 5, & 8 in 2007. And again over a decade later in 2018. Things we did that I would recommend when you go back. *Fifth Avenue Shopping *Empire State Building *Ferry to Statue of Liberty *Beetlehouse Restaurant-I absolutely adore the Beetlejuice movie, and there they all dress up, the decor is awesome! *Naked Cowboy- staple icon during daytime Timesquare *Any Museum- we did the American Museum of Natural History *Drink a Cosmo like Carrie, aka Sarah Jessica Parker, in Sex in the City
Seeing you guys go to The top of the Rock brought back some wonderful memories of me and my wife's trip in 2018, I proposed to her up there, I was so nervous. 😄
New York is one of my favorite places in the U.S.A I would love to go there when I have enough income so that I can enjoy my life. So much to see and do when I have already watch some videos about it! God bless America!
Supposedly the water in New York is superior. That's why the bagels and pizza are "supposedly" better there. Wife & I were there Jan 2020. We found our favorite spot, truth be told, bagels were awesome.
You two! I can't believe how much I smile and laugh as I watch your adventures. I'm in a pretty tough time in my life right now so I can't thank you enjoy for the joy of laughing and enjoy sights you show us. I cried at the 911 memorial with you, wow'd out loud at your drone footage, laughed in other spots and I'll stay neutral on the gelato selections. Thanks you guys!
Awesome I want to go too I love 💕 Liberty statue 🗽 I love it . Also I love bagel ❤️🥯 I fell a lot respect for 911 memory .🌹🌹🌹thank you so much guys and God bless you . Hugs and kisses from Utah . 💓💕💞💐💐🌹🌹❤️
We would have LOVED to go to the Statue of Liberty, but we just didn’t have time. Just gives us more reason to go back! The 9/11 Memorial is a must though! Thanks so much for watching!😊
Aww thank you soo much for watching & for your kind words!! We appreciate it more than you know!! ❤❤ It was for sure a whirlwind of a trip! haha My feet hurt just thinking about it! haha
OMG, you guys helped me discovered parts of my hometown that I didn't know even existed. Nat, as for your bagel question, Yes, bagels were introduced in America by Jewish immigrants from Poland in the 19th century and they got their start in NYC. So yes, bagels are a big part of us New Yorkers. We love our bagels just like we love our pizza.
The two of you do amazing videos. Nat your editing just keeps getting better and better. The travel channel should hire both of you . You both have great personalities and are fun to watch.
I recommend Coney Island, Strawberry Field and taking a FREE Staten Island Ferry ride so Matt can see Lady Liberty a bit closer. Take the ferry during the day for the statue and at night for the amazing skyline.
I’m going to New York in April for the first time and I’m super excited. I saw your video when looking it up and y’all made it look so much fun!!! I’m a new subscriber.
@@Brandon-xn4jx We totally recommend Google Maps! It's great for the public transportation system and knowing the fastest way to get around. If you have never done the subway system it does take some getting used to but it's easy to learn.. definitely use Google Maps though! :) Hope that helps!
Bill has never been but I have been several times many many years ago. The first time was bowing as a kid in the youth games and we got to go to central park. I climbed to the top of the statue of liberty and was on set for the Ricky Lake Show. Great video enjoyed.
Excelent video, very helpful, though i wish you would have shown the names of the trains and train stops and streets you where on to locate the area you were showing. maybe you could share what hotel you used if you stayed in NY. all that helps a lot when we dont know how to move around in such huge place.
Visited NYC about 20 years ago. Went to Brooklyn Bridge and thought I saw a squirrel that was so cute.......turned out to be a rat!! Did love walking all over though but never made it to Chelsea Food Market : ( . Did make it to the lady Liberty and Ellis Island! Great video!
Bahahaha 🤣🤣🤣 only in NYC are the rats big enough to be confused with a squirrel! 🐿🤣😭🙈🤷🏼♀️ haha It’s so wonderful to walk and explore isn’t it? Oh that’s great! Hopefully we will get to do that next time! 🗽

Oh absolutely! We can’t wait to go and explore more of what NY has to offer. I just had to take Matt to NYC for his first time! ❤️🥰 Thank you so much for your recommendations! 👌🏼🎉
Anyone else think we need to see Matt do the high-leg kicks like the Rockettes? I’m glad you’re learning some new moves my friend. In fact, I think we need a whole separate video compilation of nothing but Matt-dances from all 50 States. Nat, it’s TOTALLY acceptable to combine ice cream flavors and eat from each pile. Loved seeing you bike through Central Park and eating all the good nutritious NY food 🤣 PS - Joe’s food looked amazing but I’d be nervous with the stalkers watching me eat.

NYC is always a good time. I've been several times and did many of the things you did...pizza, bagels, Broadway shows, central park. The last time I went the 911 museum was sold out online so I only saw the fountain but had been to the temporary site while ground zero was under construction on a previous trip.i loved the Top of the Rock( night time experience) , much better than Empire State building. My last trip I went to the Tenement museum on the lower east side. Each floor is set up to show you how it looked as different ethnic groups moved into NY as immigrants. Y ou have to love NY.
Some of are favorite spots to eat at in New York City Pecercy’s pizza and Toast wich is breakfast restaurant wich delicious bagels , sandwiches, smoothies.
Hey Ya'll 👋 Love this vlog, oh my those bagels and that pizza. My wife and I are longing to go there and thank you for the insights and tour. The 911 Memorial Pool was amazing and sad all at once. Hey Reuben!! So great seeing you here friend! Thanks so much for your comment! It truly means the world to us! YESS! You both absolutely should go! It's such a fun city and so much stuff to do! Right? That was the first time we had visited it and when we saw a police officer come by & put flags on the names & saluted them... I was in New York once in 1987. It's changed a bit since then. 😂 We did all different things, too, so it was fun to see other activities. I don't know if I could ride a bike in NYC, film, and not wreck. Big applause for managing that!! Oh and, my cousin just moved to Portland, Maine. Thanks to your vlog I could ask about her new town. 😂 Thanks for that!
Oh I cannot wait to visit NYC-hopefully with my mama and sister next year. Oh man, I’m sure I would get so emotional seeing the 9/11 memorial too. Such a heartbreaking day for our country. 😔💔

Wonderful, Matt and Nat! You must have gotten some great postcards for your patrons while there. Your time in Central Park seemed so fun. Such a beautiful place. And the food you ate everywhere...delicious looking! Re your Times Square adventure, I had to back up several times to view that young guy who somersaulted over several other guys. Wow! Hope he got lots of tips. Your MUST visit to the 9/11 Memorial was very touching. I hope the city's residents go there often to reflect as you did. My first time in New York City (June 1965) was just a basic drive-thru as I continued on my way to somewhere else. I cried all the way in, through and out 'cause I had a huge crush on the city itself and the New York Yankees in particular from the time I was a wee one. In 1965 the World Trade Center hadn't even been built yet. The second time I visited NYC I walked all the way across from the east side to the west...took the bus back to my hotel, though...never made it to the Brooklyn Bridge but did see it from afar. Thanks for the super video. Sooo enjoyable!

As far as the bagels it's the water it's softer than most. Love oreo's ever have the fried. The bike ride looked great never been to Central Park. The view from Top of the Rock was awesome. AHHH You are speaking Matt's language.. fried Oreos! Aww thanks so much George! We appreciate y’all so much!! ❤️🎉
Aw, thanks for watching! We’re glad you found it helpful! For the local metro/subway, we just use contactless ApplePay. You can also use any contactless debit or credit card. But if you’d rather, you can purchase a MetroCard or OMNY card. The plus side of the MetroCard is that it can be used with the city’s regional transit partners which is nice if you’re needing to get to and/or from JFK airport. This website is great at explaining it all… new.mta.info/fares I hope that helps! -Matt
Last time I was in NYC the Twin Towers had been open only for a few years. The tram terminals were under construction. And while visiting the Statue of Liberty I almost fell out the window. This was when you could go up into the head. Glad y'all had a great time. After Hawai'i you should visit Guam and Puerto Rico sometime.
OK, so can y’all like go to Barrow Alaska, Nome Alaska? I mean when I saw Barrow, it was so weird because it’s all a closed city and the only way you can get into it is to fly into it! Then I was wondering, could y’all visit Uganda? also, have y’all visited Canada yet? what about Rio de Janeiro? Brazil? i’ll think of more places, but for now could y’all plan to visit those places?
Hope you were both careful on them bikes in Central Park, my Wife fell off hers going down a hill 🤣 I can laugh about it now but was quite terrible when it happened. 😅
Hey guys another brilliant video 👍 somewhere we have always wanted to visit!! Just got back from a week in vegas 🤪 blimey its all go there! Can't believe how expensive America is now compared to 2019!! Keep up the amazing work 👏 👌 🍺🇺🇲🇬🇧
So happy you guys finally came to nyc ! But so sad it’s the 49th state ! 🥹 found your channel at state 7 and I’m super proud of you guys ! YOU DID IT !!🙌🏼
Another great video! Regarding the 9/11 Memorial, if you see a white rose placed in one of the names surrounding the pools, then it’s that individual’s birthday. The staff of the memorial place the roses as a way to honor the individuals. For anyone planning a trip to NYC, I recommend checking out another TH-camr, The Megan Daily. She provides great recommendations on various places to see around NYC.
Recently found your channel (researching a trip down south and found your Greenville video since we may drive through) and as a local New Yorker loved seeing your POV here in my city. Question - did you actually drone here or did you find other vids? If you did actually do the drone shots, how’d you get away with that??
Hey Eliot! We're so glad you found our channel! And we hope you get a chance to visit Greenville! For the drone shots in this video we used stock footage that we purchased licensing for through Storyblocks.com since yes... Flying a drone legally in NYC is pretty much impossible these days! Lol... I would've LOVED to take the drone up in NYC, but rules are rules. -Matt
We visited New York as one stop on our Canada/New England cruise. We saw Ground Zero before they had completely demolished it. It was so heart-wrenching. All we could do was look thru the tall fence. Y’all had better luck with the people than we had. One older woman was screaming at our tour bus and beating on it with her purse! Not too friendly. We saw the Statue of Liberty as we sailed in on our cruise ship. Majestic sight! You didn’t go see Rockefeller Center?
John 3:16 King James Version 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

We didn’t on that day. I think the tours were sold out… I can’t remember exactly but you are 1000% correct! We did the Ellis Island & Statue of Liberty tour just this year & it was beyond amazing! Totally recommend it to everyone we talk to now! Such cool history! 👌🏼Thanks so much for watching! 🥰

We saw a police officer put American flags on the names & then he saluted them & we LOST it! 😭 Ohh you are right!! I do remember reading that about the water! AHHH You are speaking Matt's language.. fried Oreos! Aww thanks so much George! We appreciate y’all so much!! ❤️🎉
911 Memorial is so special!
Awesome
This is so helpful! Thank you. I want to visit next month. Not driving for the first time.
What are you using to pay train fare?
Aw, thanks for watching! We’re glad you found it helpful! For the local metro/subway, we just use contactless ApplePay. You can also use any contactless debit or credit card. But if you’d rather, you can purchase a MetroCard or OMNY card. The plus side of the MetroCard is that it can be used with the city’s regional transit partners which is nice if you’re needing to get to and/or from JFK airport. This website is great at explaining it all… new.mta.info/fares
I hope that helps!

They have the best tacos at cheasly market and huge ramen noodles but very spicy
I forgot to tell you seeing the Holiday Train show in Botanical Gardens is the best but it's only there from Thanksgiving til New Years
great video 👍🏾
Thanks so much!😊
Hope you were both careful on them bikes in Central Park, my Wife fell off hers going down a hill 🤣 I can laugh about it now but was quite terrible when it happened. 😅
Hey guys another brilliant video 👍 somewhere we have always wanted to visit!! Just got back from a week in vegas 🤪 blimey its all go there! Can't believe how expensive America is now compared to 2019!! Keep up the amazing work 👏 👌 🍺🇺🇲🇬🇧
You don't mix the flavours!!! Absolutely pick the ones you like not the ones that go together ;-)
I was in time Square in 2002 during a TRL filming.
No way!!! That’s amazing!
If you can make it here, you can make it anywhere
Next time gotta try The Original Soup Guy, the soup Nazi from the episode of Seinfeld. Right near Columbus circle! Get the Lobster bisque
Ahh… Yesss!! We have to add that to our list for next time! We love Seinfeld and Lobster Bisque! Lol… Thanks for the recommendation!
So happy you guys finally came to nyc ! But so sad it’s the 49th state ! 🥹 found your channel at state 7 and I’m super proud of you guys ! YOU DID IT !!🙌🏼
I liked the video.i have never been to NYC
Thanks so much, Steve!
Great video 😂
-Matt
You guys are great checkout the American Dream mall it has a ski theme park Waterpark in Rutherford NJ
I’m an Oreo fiend too, Matt 😂
Yesss!!!😋🤤
I'd be too scared to ride a bike in the streets of NYC! The high line was nice, I'd like to walk it! What were they filming?
It definitely was a little sketchy, but we survived! Lol… Yea, the High Line is nice. We’re still not sure what they were filming for though!
According to google it it says New York is popular for its unique kettle boiled bagels
A free cameo appearance 😭😭😭😭, well which series or movie was it.
🤣🤷🏼♀️ We have no idea! So if you see if in the background somewhere.. let us know! Haha
The 9/11 memorial is definitely something to see when it’s open.
It’s impossible to go to NY for 1 day unless you’re just driving thru. That’s a straight tease lol
💯🥂
But what about everywhere else in New York State??
Hydrox by sunshine biscuits created the “Oreo” cookie and Nabisco stole it
We visited New York as one stop on our Canada/New England cruise.
I could never use the chopsticks
🤣🤣 As you can see… I’m not so great at it! Lol -Matt
lol same
John 3:16
King James Version
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
How did you do so many things in one day? was it actually one day?
It was! 🤣🤣 We’re crazy. Haha We truly want to do, see & eat as much as we can exploring a place so we go hard! Haha I think we explored for 17+ hours or something like that. 🤣🤦🏼♀️ But we had a blast doing it! Thanks for watching! 🥰
You guys didn't have time to visit the Statue of liberty? Everyone in the world has to go there since that is the landmark of New York and USA.
Ugh..subway pizza!!! With all the great pizza places in the City. Oh well, go back for another visit and try some real pizza.
Hahaha 🤣 I know!!! We were disappointed that’s all we had time for. Any recommendations?!
