Yes, some stations have lost their buildings and more. The line runs over the great dividing range with nice scenery. Glad you enjoyed the ride 👍 😀

Thank you for featuring Wandong as a grandfather was a ganger there for a while.
A life filled with fewer possessions than we have today. 'Shank's pony' was the transport. (Look it up if you've not heard the term).

Lightwood was abolished in 1941. It was originally called Merri siding and had at least a signal for trains headed toward Melbourne and hand gates on the adjacent crossing. . Glad you enjoyed the ride. 👍 😀
