. Bring food and drinks
. The most beautiful light on the castle is at sunset at the golden hour. Highly recommended for those who like to take pictures.
. Visit the gardens by making a triangle: start with the orangery to the Apollo basin then end with the dragon basin to go directly to the Grand Trianon. There is also a small train which costs 8 euros.
. The Grand Trianon only opens at noon and closes at 6.30 p.m.
To visit Marie Antoinette's gardens you have to enter through the Grand Trianon.
