I was still making it for b41 so the control room is the first room near the entrance on ground level. But thanks to this video i know a better place now :)
@@slayer_pz glad I didn't find it, it was a good reason to explore the base! There's a lot of people looking forward to it's release. Kudos for making the mod.
Hi Slayer! Thanetian told me to reply to your comment here. Had a thought and suggested it to him; but you're the dev! I'll copy/paste the relevant bits 😊 "If I were to make a profession suggestion is there any chance you'd pass it on? Because it'd be really cool to do taxi/uber driving. Explore the map, deliver people to points between towns/etc before everything is gone. As someone getting into Zomboid, it'd be really nice to be able to traverse the map with purpose before everything goes to poop." I provide verbatim. Thank you for your time! You're doing amazing work!
I hope slayer prioritizes the basics of the mod. While this is cool, I would turn this nuke mission off on most of my runs unless I can extend how much time I have eg 30 days to deactivate
Funny, I first thought it was a made up mission for like an interesting scenario for the viewer but it appears it's an actual mod feature given how the days also pop up. I hope it can be disabled altogether so you can have classic run without all of that and just ride into the apocalypse.
@@chickenmaster0636 I hope the option does get added to the settings as it'd be fun once or twice but I think I'd prefer to not have Knox county be burned to cinders every playthrough as week one will more than likely be permanent in my load order lol
@@RaccoonKCD It's in the sandbox settings now. There was a companion mod called "Week One and Beyond" that deactivated that whole quest, but the day I downloaded it, the original added a sandbox option lol
Be glad you didn't explore that basement post nuke, I went down there and fired a burst of my m16 in that first shower room -- my character instantly hit max anxiety and I knew it was time to go.
This mod is addictive, can't stop watching ;) As someone who's already put almost 100 hours on b42, some tips: - masks will get put back on, however moving will cancel the interaction. If you stand still it'll put the mask back - speaking of masks, some will actually make your vision cone MUCH narrower, in addition to giving you discomfort which was making you sad. It's a lot to manage - for aiming, there's a sweetspot to aim for downed zombies, and it's a bit below them. It's fiddly but once you get the hang of it, you'll get it fast - speaking of aiming, I recommend changing the default crosshair. Try around with some of the settings, I personally prefer the more traditional crosshair style. Also, zooming in the view and disabling aim camera panning will make you more accurate - one cloth sheet makes one sheet bag, so you don't need to wait for potentially hours to get a bag - light switches facing the camera will have a small red light (until the power goes out). Makes finding them in the dark easier Well, can't wait for more! :3

The reason half your bullets weren't killing is because your guy's aiming level is shit. You have to have really good skill levels now. And as for aiming at close range, you have to actually point the gun at the zombie/person instead of just the crosshair. The end of the barrel has to actually line up with the person you want to shoot
