Hello, my name is John, I am a subscriber and I am restoring a 3/4 ton 1959 Chevy NAPCO. Its my first restoration, so I am enjoying and learning from your videos. I am going to follow your bed restoration procedure. With a lot of boats in my past, I appreciate your varnish work (would enjoy seeing the Chris-Craft). My question is: what size Tornel tires did you use on the wrecker? I have am looking for 8.00 x 17.5 for my truck and would like to use the Tornel brand. Respect your work, thank you- J
Those were tornell tires from Cocker. Same size might havebeen 7.5 but I think probably 8.5 x 17.5. Only o e tire maker in that size. Made in Mexico plant. And based on date code I think they literally made them to my order of five. Also took six months to get them. So order early.
That looks fantastic Sam. I need to do it on Logan’s truck so now we know what and how to do it.
Thanks
Nice job!
