Can't believe THE Englishsimmer knows about my lil ol' challenge! 😭 Love your videos Mollie! 💛 And for those who don't know a year or so ago I made a base game version of my challenge so if you don't own all the packs you can refer to that instead! Link is on the original challenge post 😘
this is so fun! i like to get ideas from many legacies and do them randomly in my own! i just had the idea of having two best friends divorce and raise their respective babies together! then one of the kids end up afraid of commitment and the other a super romantic
So excited to try these, right now I am playing on the shipwrecked lot with 8 sims who happened to be on the ship when it wrecked. I deleted the actual house part. They can only live in tents and eat what they catch.
My current save file is 60 something generations and the only reason I have gotten that far is legacy challenges. I haven’t tried any of these yet so I have added them to my list. I love my Sim family I can’t let them go.
@@kateslouise28 oh the in game family tree if totally glitched. It only holds info for about 4 gens. Not to mention there was a “great werewolf purge” where I had to delete every family except my family because everyone had some form of werewolf genetics.
I’ve been working on an Enneagram legacy challenge. I’ve already played through but typing it out is taking forever. I’m finished with 1-3 if you wanna test it out.
Not me about to start a bunch of new legacy challenges after this video 😅 This definitely introduced me to a few I'd never seen before. The best bros one is literally so cute.
My challenge Ascendant Legacy Challenge is really fun and dynamic. It’s a 12 gen astrology-inspired challenge but has the zodiac challenges and the generation challenges, making it easier or harder depending on what corresponds (like a two layered wheel). It’s a good mix between stories/challenges and open ended gameplay. I don’t enjoy where everything is prescribed and told to me but i don’t necessarily want to be just playing tasks. I finished my own challenge and am on Gen 18 of a new challenge and the first 12 flew by
Im on Vampire of the occult challenge and its lasted me so long, so in love with my families and sad to see it nearing the end! Highly recommend to anyone. Few photos to keep track of the whole challenge, easy to play at your own pace and edit as youd like. 10/10
I loved playing the build newcrest legacy challenge. Its super fun and it encourages the build/buy/decorations part of the game a bit more than the gameplay itself. It was also super fun imagining my sims competing with the landgraabs 🤣
All of these sound really fun. I have watched 2 streamers/TH-camrs play The Sims In Bloom Challenge (Malixa & Tazkabaz) & I watch MissLollypopSims play The Joy of Life Challenge. I have created my own challenge that you can eventually make into an legacy challenge called Harvest Life Challenge over on Tumblr. It's based on the game Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life (formerly known as Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life, which I have for Gamecube & have played multiple times). I am going to make another challenge & it will be an legacy challenge. I am not going to say what it will be about since I don't want anyone stealing my legacy challenge idea.
I love my legacy safe file, ive been playing with the same family for 8 irl years now. And i just keep playing diffrent legacy challanges with the dame family. My favorite thing is the storytelling l, their traits, likes/ dislikes, asperation and look is randomesed (eith a little make over) but i make only desisions that mix all their interests. This is i get to gameplay feature ive never played before. For instance my sims had the trait "music lover" and with that i usually make them good at an instrument like piano, guitar or voilin. But his asperation was club leader. So hanging more in the get together pack i diceded to make him a DJ and it was very cool to see him build his own nightclub and unlock the cool DJ helmet you get. I play on short lifespan and usually make try to finish their career and asperation wishes in teen / young adult phase and then make them have kids in the adult stage.
I wrote one myself called "Love Your Land" with easy and hard versions. It's about lot challenges and you can activate either all at the beginning or just 1 or 2 per generation. I have an intro video on my channel if you're interested. There is a playlist by the name "Love Your Land Legacy" but I've only done 4 episodes as I started doing TS2 builds more.
I really like the legacy challenges that are based on songs. I’ve got one legacy based on all the songs in Harry Styles’s album Harry’s House, then another I’m planning on starting called the It Girl legacy challenge. I’m planning on making my own as well! They’re very fun
Going to have to make a few legacies because I CANNOT choose between the Bromance Legacy and the Solar System Legacy!!! (Thank you so much I've been trying to find a legacy to play during my summer break)
I had a lot of fun playing the whimsy story challenge. I only got to the second generation, but I know that later on, I'll get into it again. The occult legacy challenge is something I really want to try. I really neglect the occults in the game, and have been trying to figure out how to bring them into my gameplay.
I don't know if this one counts but I am currently playing the ultimate decades challenge and it has had me hooked for ages. (It's an incredibly long challenge though)
To be honest I'm very oriented to legacy's in the Sims 4 with medieval background story and features I like to put in my gameplay, occults or fantasy ones. I don't really follow rules, but more a storytelling I create, kinda like in D&D and if you manage to enter in a D&D mindset while playing Sims 4, it help the immersion I think. To me, less rules there is, more the little unexpected element of the game will come up and it makes the experience better. But that's my point of view.
@@courtneykong5703 unless some fantasy and Medieval CCs, No, I really goes by the games mechanics and my imagination. (I tried some mods to develop the gameplay, but some lastexptions bugs and not keeping them updated, made me remove them completely.)
i'm currently playing the extended whimsy legacy challenge (30 generations) 😊 it's a lot of fun, i'm just about to start gen 4! i finished the not so berry 2 challenge last year and wanted to try something big i also rotate between a few other challenges in between so i don't get burnt out on one family. the ones i play besides the big whimsy challenge is zodiac legacy, isle of the midnight sun, decades challenge and my own legacy challenge that i made. :)
These challenges are super cute. I could see myself doing several of them (although probably not on my channel as I'm already up to my eyeballs in NSB and Medieval Legacy!).
Interesting but not really for me. Don't appreciate playing with rules that some random stranger on the internet made up. I'll think up my own stuff in that case.
OMG! Thanks for giving some love to the Hallmark Lore Legacy! I worked so hard on it and I’m so excited to have it out in the world. 🩷🩷🩷 Also, ty for picking up the Taylor Swift reference!

The streamer Risshella currently has a Sims in Bloom going. It's great!
@@scholarhobbitz8269 yes I think I popped in a few of her streams back when she was on gen 3/4! I should go catch up

Your family tree must look nightmare-ish to look at since its normally around the 10th legacy it starts glitching out lmao

The bro one sounds like a fraternity house . That would be cool! Pass down to know members

I love the idea of legacies but I always get bored halfway through the first gen. I need to try it on short lifestyle and see if that helps
i love making complicated family trees
