The points about the flea market and woodworking are so true, because I've always wanted to try to furnish a home without buying items from the build catalog
One of the points you made is something that really annoys me and I'd like to see addressed is the fact that the longer you play a save, features just disappear - no stayovers requests, no offered help for infants, no invitations to npc birthday parties (which I swear used to be a thing) less, if any invites at all - the list goes on. As a rotational player, I tend to stay in a save for a long time and really miss the gameplay opportunities these created. So many good features introduced then left - totally agree with all you mentioned and would like to see club features and holiday traditions get some love too.
I thought my game or a mod was bugged. After Growing Together came out, the grandmother in the family I was playing requested to come stay after the new granddaughter was born. It was awesome! I've been playing in the same save for a while, and that hasn't happened again for a long time...and I don't see Kyle anymore either🙄
@@Noel.Chmielowiec It's been so long since it happened in my saves that I had forgotten about it until I watched EnglishSimmer's video. Admittedly, the parties were pretty lacklustre and my sims had to take the cake 😄 but it was so good for storytelling in the game.
I dont think Pack Refreshes need to be as "elaborate" as Spa Day was. I understand its not profitable for them and they have to pay their employees, but when the packs are just broken, thats not really a refresh, its fixing a faulty product. Dine Out NEEDS an official massive bug fix. And honestly it would be nice if they could go back and polish some textures. If they did bring out pack refreshes, i gotta say Outdoor Retreat is another pack that needs some help 😅
I took a family camping for the first time in a looooong time and it was so boring. 😂They could add birdwatching, scary stories and pranks (scaring other Sims that are outside at night) and skipping stones.
The flea market being refreshed is so needed. I’m sick of seeing the same 10 things. Randomization would be so cool, even adding cc if you have it in your game would be awesome (so probably never happening)
One thing that always comes to mind for me is how they once said they were gonna do monthly sdx drops. or just generally more sdx drops. meanwhile it feels like we're just getting less and less of them
I wish the flea market would have one item that was from the extensive list of unlock-ables in the game across packs. That way it could provide a cool way to get items your sims might not normally get without cheats. I think something like that would make me more willing to go because I could find something pretty cool.
I simply have wanted the club activities updated with everything that gets added to the game. They added marbles but didn't add the new dances. We have so many radio stations now and it would be nice to have a club meet at a location decorated with country items and country music playing on the community lot speakers and the club/group is set to do the country dancing. Then I could make a latin style night club and have the group set to do the dance from Salvedorato. I just think that we don't get new gameplay a lot so how hard is it to update the activities in the Get Together club system to be sure to include EVERYTHING our sims can do. I want a club that just drinks tea and gossips with the new tea tray from the Wedding pack.
Yes about the woodworking table! I have been asking them to refresh the woodworking table to add the ability to make toys, like we could in Sims 2 and Sims 3. Wooden toys like pull cars, rocking horses, hobby horses, puppets/marionettes, action figures, etc. They could be great gifts for kids, or help Sims open their own toy store. Also, a return of the sculpture station. The so-called sculptures you can make on the woodworking bench are great for knickknacks, but they're not what I'd consider true sculptures, and sculptures come in a variety of media besides wood, like metal, stone, and ice.
A small thing I'd like on the woodworking is the ability to pick the wood you work with. It would just produce things in different colours, and it would be nice to have a pine or mahogany desk for example. With scenarios, I wish you could get an option for one to emerge during gameplay. I actually find them pretty cool, especially the ones with a sense of story to them, and it would be nice if they could be incorporated in to existing households rather than needing you to start a new game. The other thing is that I wonder if there should be scenarios released with each pack to take you through the features rather than having an aspiration do it, they feel a much more natural fit for that. There could also be scenarios that get unlocked if you have multiple packs like maybe a scenario about a child being bullied if you have Parenthood and High School Years. I'd like to see some of the collectables expanded in other packs. The Insects in Outdoor Retreat should spawn in all worlds, but maybe some of them are unique to particular ones. I'd love to see worlds also have unique flowers that can be used in Flower Arranging.
These are all really good points!! I am always really disappointed by the lack of things that can be done with the woodworking table. I never use it because it's SO limited. I wish it had more/new furniture options that can be made with the new packs. I also liked your idea of using the woodworking table to refurbish burnt/damaged items found in the dumpster. Maybe could be an option locked until a certain level of the hardiness skill but would definitely make both features more useful to the average player who maybe doesn't want to be in a career for their sim.
Paranormal investigators should not just be limited to ghosts they should be called for other situations with occults like to calm down a rampaging werewolf or brake up a fight between them and vampires spellcasters who mess with sims alien abduction ect
Hard agree on the Flea Market and Woodworking table. I was so amped to outfit my Sims house with woodworking, only to discover they could only build a dining table, chairs, end table and non-matching barstool. Plus no swatch options. Heavy sigh... The unrealized potential within this game are exhaustive. I would love at least one item from every pack being made available on the woodworking table. That would be a fun "collection", and create an incentive for people to buy the packs. They should all come with swatches though, so they could be "stained" however you want after building, just like in real life. BTW, my father was a carpenter/cabinet maker irl, and I am sitting in a room, surrounded by furniture he built; an entertainment center, an end table (I designed) and a side cabinet with drawers and a door, that I've had since I was about 13. We designed it together, to hold my record player/stereo, records, and doubled as a dresser. My home is also filled with other pieces of furniture that have been passed down through generations, and love that idea in The Sims. Thanks for sharing your passion with us. I love ALL your ideas!
Yes! I would be totally in favor of the sentiment buffs being more powerful like in sims 2, but it would wreck my game ugh now because my sims keep getting random cheated on their partner sentiments. Married, loyal trait sims! But I can’t even figure out what happened that makes them think that happened. Like did you accept a flirty interaction from a townie? Nobody in their relationship panel has any amount of romance bar except their spouse but they spend days feeling guilty and sad around their spouse because they cheated but the sentiment doesn’t say who they cheated with.
The memory/screenshot system! Even though it's not very in depth, I'd like to see them update/change it. The fact that assigning moods to pics was removed and now auto-applies a mood is frustrating.
Yes! I love the idea of the flemarket but I don’t want to buy another chair or lamp! Bring in other items! Being in tvs, rugs, desks, I want to see other packs in this!
One: Painting from the easel. As the wall decor and paintings have included more diverse styles and subjects, painting from the easel has not. Two: Breakfast and brunch. Tons of meals and cooking styles have been added by default as DLCs grow, but we have had breakfast upgrades three in Get to Work, Seasons and Home Chef Hustle.
what im missing most is the pronoun update for my language :( i feel like since the majority of simmers speak english no one talks about it anymore - thank you for mentioning this!!!
Like I've said on another channel, we don't need more packs. Especially when doing so breaks the game and older packs. The game as a whole needs a fix with what we already have. I just recently found out the retail system from GTW is broken af from trying to play it. Like how are you gonna have bugs where they weren't there before.
Also, they more packs a person has the more it slows down the computer, even a good quality comp and it's my understanding they don't even bother with console players
I long for a total Sims 4 overhaul on everything. I hope the new Sims team is here to stay and not just a smoke and mirrors kind of thing. This is why my game is so heavily modded. There are so many features that don't get integrated into all the packs. I also wish the game tracked years, not just how many days Sims have lived. There are seasons but no concept of years. I also want a UI tweak to the Sims Queue task area. What if you could right click to drag a task down the queue, then left could still be cancel task. 🙏 Overhauls I want to see: clubs, holidays, ghosts, death/grim, newborns, teens(can they not look like Young Adults). I may use clubs the wrong way: I make clubs for my household, for when they need to do "housework" or work in the "garden". I helps for when I want to just see what will happen, like with the club Love Is In There Air club. LOL
I agree on the most of it. I'd also add the following on the list too: * Speaking of Flea Markets, Marketplaces in Eco Lifestyle could also benefit from an update. It mostly sells Eco-upgrade parts and candles and fizzy juice and some more, but it would be great if some more things could be sold. Maybe even have different worlds sell different things, like nectar in Chestnut Ridge or seashells in Sulani or somethings like that. I do like that any stalls put there will automatically be filled with a vendor to have some different things to buy in different locations, but yeah... Even the food stall from Home Chef Hustle won't get automatically filled with a vendor. * On lifestyles, while I feel like they aren't forgotten, one little thing is that is forgotten: Ask About Home Region. For each world until Snowy Escape, you got different responses when you asked a local about their home region. Now it's just a generic response to the question in the newer worlds. It was such a fun and impressive detail before after all... * The injury system in Snowy Escape. New ways to get injured was added with Werewolves, but any new ways or consequences haven't been added. The current consequences are that your sim cannot do certain activities and they can die by falling or vending machine. * Speaking of holidays, the traditions aren't updated a lot. New traits tend to not love or ignore certain traditions, certain interactions won't fulfill traditions it should, and no new traditions or holiday icons have been added. * And speaking of holiday traditions, let's get to Holiday Resolutions (as you can make your own holidays, I won't call them New Year resolutions). Yeah, these get too repetitive and include no cross-pack resolutions. * One tiny thing: if your sim is in Charity Organizer career, asking for donations from a Good sim is more likely to succeed, but with Generous sims the chance is unaffected. * Doctor career and new ailments. Like, why can't doctors treat Rabid Rodent Fevers or poisonings for example? And there are no challenges with treating other occults. With aliens, doctors will have some challenge with x-raying them. * Spells and why can't you restore candles with Repairo spell. * Horse Ranch traits don't affect social compatibility and don't have self-discovery moments to gain those traits. Though For Rent traits do, so I wouldn't call it a forgotten feature yet... * Werewolves still have no new club activities. * Most of the post-Discover University skills have no optional elective course for them. Some skills that have is Knitting, Horse Riding, and Gemology. * Sims with Professorial reward trait can write skill books for skills they're good at. However, this is only true for base game skills while most of the DLC skills are ignored. * Achievements. Need I say more. * Obtaining scouting badges with post-Seasons activities, but I'm not sure on it to be honest... There are certainly more that don't come to my mind, but yeah, I don't blame them. There are a lot of things in The Sims 4 already, so it's hard to keep up with everything in the game.
Wow there are a lot of forgotten features and I agree with all of them. Along with bed updates, I'd also like to see some basic, everyday couches, loveseats and chairs. Maybe through an SDX drop with a lot of different swatches.
Mixology! We keep getting new bars, but they’re never actually practical in an ordinary home so I feel it’s a skill that often gets neglected/forgotten about by both players and devs. My biggest complaint is that they’re way too big and don’t really fit in with “home” decor. While yes, we just got the single square bar in the log-in give always, what I would *love* to see is more items like the mixology globe. So think alcohol caddies, bar carts, liquor cabinets, beer/wine fridges (even the mini variety). Just smaller, build items that you are more likely to see in an average home, not stonking great bars?
A feature that I will like to have added to the game is; you know how with Horse Ranch, we get to see the horse's mood and their needs bar? I hope that they can do the same to all other pets and animals too. And why is it that we can age down our pets and horses, but we can't age down our Sims? Like I can age down my elderly dog to an adult dog, but I can't do that with my Sims. I know I can go into CAS and cheat them down. But I will like for it to be something that my Sim can work on or achieve on and not get so easily with cheats. As for reward traits, I will like to be able to purchase a reward trait that makes my Sim immortal without mods. I just would like to get things for my Sims without using cheats and mods.
I definitely think they should expand the Seasons holiday-making feature if you have more packs to include things that fit the feel of other packs because right now that feature is very underdeveloped.
One of my favorite sims has the "frequent traveler" lifestyle, which allows her to ask other sims about their home worlds. Ask anyone from a pre-Mt.Komorebi world, and you get a long, detailed popup. Ask anyone from any world that shipped after Snowy Escape, and you get a standard "this is a nice place to live." Come on! Update this feature! Text boxes are not hard.
This situation makes me feel kinda frustrated... Everytime we play The Sims 4 we see these forgotten things, they are REALLY noticeable, this is the case where, at least, I wish sims team would actually introduce these features, not only because it would be more fun, but because they make total sense! Why these things aren't there in the first place?? The way we percieve these things as features whose presence makes logical sense stabilishes further the feeling that those things were forgotten and it's frustrating because we can't do anything to make sims team remember them. I don't mean to blame anyone, it could easily be a situation as simple as someone forgot about them, it's not their fault but, we can't do anything about it, we can't help them to remember, that's why it's so frustrating 😪
You are so right on all of these... For the reward store, there can be stuff like "takes more time to overcharge" for spellcasters or fury for werewolves. I haven't played with those packs a lot just yet so I don't know if those are already things available for the occult tier lists that they have, but even just small things like that. And don't get me started on the mermaids
The woodworking table is such a missed opportunity! I also would like more frame options for photos and paintings. Imagine what we could do with more antique looking frames!
I agree with you with the flea market. It is one of my favorites, but the furniture...I wish they would work on some of these missed opportunities in the game.
Speaking of the dumpster spawning in all the worlds, now that I'm playing with gemology, I really wish more crystal/metal rocks would spawn in every world. I always go to the same base game (or early packs) spots to collect.
I love the standing videos, you're even sassier when you stand XD 3:25 Funny because I feel the same way about the Spice festival. I loooooove the Spice festival. It's the one festival my Sims NEVER skip. But I'm so tired of always finding the same foods (and plants) when I go there. It's always the same stalls ! I feel about it the same way as you feel about the flea market : if you own other packs, they should be included in the rotation. The fact that I can't ever find Selvadoradian food at the Spice festival ? Come on. Related : I wish we had a way to track what foods/recipes a Sim has discovered. The pop-up tells me I have discovered 3 out of 27 dishes, but can't let me track which dishes these are, so that I don't buy the same dish twice next week and the same festival to the same vendor ? That's just silly. I don't understand why I'm supposed to remember whether it was lumpia or ensaymada, when I'm already trying to keep my Sim alive and out of the local drama. This stuff is why we have tools to track collectibles ; if we can have the proper notebook UI for fish, why not for dish ?! Alright but here's my real "forgotten feature" pet peeve : build/buy filters. Hear me out : when they released basegame, they started tagging their assets so that we could filter them in the build/buy catalog, so for instance, you can filter objects by "contemporary". Fantastic, great, awesome, love it. But that's baby's first feature, this is extremely basic ! What happens when I place a window, and I don't know what style it is ? Do I try EVERY style filter until I find the matching door, thus discovering it's considered "colonial" ? And that's particularly annoying because of course, now there are many more packs since the release of basegame, and more styles have been added, and it's a jungle in the filters ! And that's just one way they could expand the filters ; they could also, quite simply, give us an option to tag assets ourselves. You'd create your own filters for your favorites, or for a big building project, or for items you want to buy as your rags-to-riches progresses... You could export your own "playlists" of build/buy filters in the Gallery if you wanted... Like, the build/buy catalog has received zero significant update in how it can be used IN A DECADE. (and I'm sure the CAS filters could be in the same boat, I just don't use CAS as much)
Made a crystal tree via the crystal creations pack. It wasn’t the best tree, until I used magic to make it perfect. Then the crystals I made needed a boost too. So golden egg meals can in clutch for that.
I love that you burst into Ace of Base. Such great music Mollie. Re: The Eco smog vacuum. I teach a Sim to make it in the career (usually Knox or Tina) and they give them out as gifts. I think you can repairio as a spellcaster with the furniture etc.
I'd love the woodworking table to work more like the jewellery or knitting crafts. I liked trying it recently but there's only really 2 options for furniture, bad, or good. Why can't we have different styles, or even wood choices. The default swatch that you can make is so orange and bright, and I much prefer other tones. I've not really thought about it that hard before now, but now I'm fully enraged about this AHAHAHAH
A thing that I like with Spa Day : Yoga is pretty good to get out of a burnout. City Living : During the Spice Festival, DO harvest the plants near the Burning Chilly Challenge to get a Cow Plant. Just fight against a random Sim, have him hate your Sim, your Sim declared that Sim as his enemy. He leaves saying «I'm gotta go, it's been pleasant talking with you.» Really ? You had nothing BUT mean interaction, you got beaten to a pulp, your relation is all the way into the red, your compatibility is the worst possible, and that was STILL a «pleasant» time ? Adding items to the reward store is absolutely possible. Mods do it. In French, the pronouns are «il» (he), «lui»(him) and «elle»(she). The plural are «ils»(they), «eux»(them) and «elles»(they/them), that are never used for a singular person. There are no actual usual equivalent to for «them» to be used for a single person. We absolutely need a table/desk microscope.
tbf i think it can. i’ve just said in the past i don’t always wanna have a spellcaster to do it so i got confused. i do still wish there was an easier way
I also really wish we had a radio within build mode. It would be really cool if I could listen to any sim's radio station while I build. I really love the Sims music and what if they made a taylor swift pack with Taylor Swift simlish songs. Kind of like the branded The Sims 3 Katy Perry Sweat Treats.
Yeah cross-pack integration is desperately missing. Things like lot types randomly generating in other worlds if you have the pack they came with, so for example, if you have dine-out, restaurants should randomly spawn in other worlds. Everything just feels so siloed. Honestly, just having a dev team that are true fans of the other Sims games and pull the cool features and lore from them in to TS4 would go a long way to fixing the issues.
Sentiments are great, i hope they keep making them. I wonder if they could add a romantically monogamous as a lifestyle, or a sentiment and that would mean that random sims flirting with them would never succeed.
I’m pretty sure repairo from a spellcaster does fix dumpster diving furniture. But now I’m doubting myself… going to have to check. I totally agree about needing more dumpster spawn spots! The fact that San Myshuno doesn’t haven’t dumpster is so absurd!
@@EnglishSimmer I totally agree with that. It seems like a major oversight to not give a simpler version like handiness skill to fix things up. Maybe it takes a lot longer and high skill level so the easy career vacuum reward is still special.
agreed on the pronouns… they are still not a thing for non-english players and i get that it’s hard to do for some more gendered languages but it’s been 2 years now! they should at least give us an update😢
They need to add new/update the career prompts and the Parenthood prompts. There should be a greater chance of being demoted and fired (consequences make the game interesting). Also they should add in the burgular back in (I know it's not a forgotten Sims 4 feature, but still). If they're so concerned about upsetting people, they can add an optional toggle to the settings, but again, consequences and spontaneity make the game more interesting
I don’t want more furniture added to the flea market because that would reduce the chances of finding the furniture that’s supposed to only be available from the flea market.
The first refresh should have been dine out or waited until after werewolves and refresh realm of magic because dying out, everybody wants that fixed, and a lot of people already have it so would’ve made them play it more and then with round of magic once we got the werewolves and they connected everything it would’ve made people want witches if they refreshed that pack
Lot types!! When was the last time we had a gym in a new world? Like, I don't need 2 more bars and a lounge, I want more skill-related lots like gyms and libraries and museums. Also, GTW is still so broken and needs an update badly!
-About the pronouns; I think it could be nice if when you interact with a new sim outside the household who has pronouns set, there could be a lil popup in the top right saying something like “Hi, my name is X X and my preferred pronouns are X X”. So you’ll have that info as soon as they are available in your friends panel
That could be an interesting concept. The only flaw is I find my notification panel gets so cluttered that it could be easy to miss. Also, you would possibly forget about it after a while if it is a sim you don't interact with often. I wish it would show up in the profile (and maybe it does, I can't remember off hand) or could be a setting you enable to always show pronouns but the sims name so it is more obvious.
-I imagined it would show up in the profile, and while hovering over the sim in the relationship panel. Like it shows you their traits, careers and what family dynamic you have and stuff. I totally get what you’re saying about the cluttered notifications…
@EmilieRyw ahhh okay! Yes I think that would be a great way to include it! I was imagining something similar too. If only we could actually pass that suggestion to a Dev 🤦♀️
they very much can’t i literally tried it before recording this video to remind myself. all they can do is watch tv. if you start a conversation they both just sit on the edges of the bed. every interaction has footprints next to it which means they have to reroute to do it
This is 100% what infuriates me about the Sims team, it's just a sloppy standard of work from start to finish. Aside from the obvious brokenness, they create a pack, release it, and then forget it even exists. There's no updating it to give cross pack play with other packs, or incorporating features from new packs that so clearly should have been incorporated to complete and compliment the older packs or content. Look at traits, careers and aspirations, they've barely been updated since release. I honestly can't play without mods now.
I think a lot of things aren't forgotten about, but they listen to a portion of the community. Like the spa day pack refresh, people assumed that was planned. They left things cut on purpose. So I think I'd propose stopping the pack refreshes but I do think it's a good idea considering how long 4 has been going. They've talked about laundry lists off and on. The team is the only new idea. I think it was 2020 when it seemed every month we got an update with bug fixes and I remember people complaining about the monthly updates. So to me, they're trying again. How long before people complain? Same with scenarios and the townies makeovers. There were a few times an event was "do this to earn__" and again people complained and now there's the argument about FOMO for logging in 6 days out of the month. I think the flea market and woodworking aren't forgotten about but acknowledging not everyone will have all the packs. This could be something that seems easy to code *this player doesn't have this pack* but it's not easy. Yeah the bed is an odd one and the burnt furniture can't be repaired. I think dumpsters is another example of 'in case players don't have the pack'. Easy fix, except for the people who decide we're owed money back because the feature is moved to BG. Oh so you mean how sentiments allow relationship repairs rather than "we're though!" They might with the upcoming pack. I'd rather not be that extreme. I think the rewards store is ditched because of the argument that the game is easy already. So pronouns in the info panel. I mostly ignore the townies, so neighborhood stories isn't important to me but understandable.
I would like to see child sims be able to change their pronouns and start social transition. Sure, they can wear whatever clothes we want them to, but we can't change their pronouns, they can't "come out", and there's no going to therapy sessions or anything for them. We already know that kids as young as 3 or 4 know that they're LGBT irl; it should be in the game as well.
No These Features arent forgoten But alot of times the budget of a pack means ther need to cut corners to make the pack work. Hell nighberhood Storys got Horse Adoption last year. And I think recent packs didnt have anything that neded a specific new sentiment.
How about the most simplest of simple things: being able to log into the game? I am struggling and I've bought a new PC like a month ago so the least the game could do is WORK. Regardless of how it performs, right now it just doesn't perform at all and I am sick of it. The amount of time and money I've spent on this franchise, I would never spend that on any other game and yet EA gets me every time.
Personally, I don't need any update on the pronouns. I don't use that feature in-game, so I do not want it pushed more in-game. I don't like it when businesses IRL have them listed on name tags, as that makes me not want to patronize those businesses. The way they made it was just fine to only be utilized only by those who wanted the feature. The way you described how you wanted sounded to invasive, which is what I believe the Devs were attempting to avoid.
I think a good compromise is making it an option you can enable! That way if something like pronouns appearing by a sims name is REALLY that annoying to you as someone who uses pronouns every day, you could turn it off. But it is frustrating to players who want to ensure they use the correct pronoun for sims in the game. For some it is a big deal!
they could def do more expansion or integration to previous packs like voodoo dolls are base game but they could have expanded with magic or paranormal stuff but nope🥲🥲
A child or teen sim should be able to get a happy sentiment over their parents getting divorced if the parents have a bad relationship.
There were npcs' birthday parties? I only have old saves, so I completely forgot about it 😮
I agree witb everything you said. A 100%
I thought my game or a mod was bugged. After Growing Together came out, the grandmother in the family I was playing requested to come stay after the new granddaughter was born. It was awesome!
Small microscope justice!!! It was apart of the community proposals that led to Nifty Knitting! We deserve it to be included somewhere!
Aaaah why are they like this!? Pack refreshes... scenarios... I agree on the flea market too. It could definitely be more randomised.
Imagine if the items from Basement treasures could be found at the flea market?! They are perfect for it!
Btw there's a mod that adds new pack furniture to the Flea Market, it's called Flea Market Refresh by Enkidu! Love it
omg thank you so muuuch never thought of looking it up!! x
That’s cool, but it doesn’t do much for console players
@@kittyplayz1480 that's sadly true, but it's always been this way with console games 🤷♀️
I would love to make little toys as gifts at winterfest
I think sentiments should be harder to get. I meet someone and 2 hours later we have a sentiment about how great friends we are
Paranormal investigators should not just be limited to ghosts they should be called for other situations with occults like to calm down a rampaging werewolf or brake up a fight between them and vampires spellcasters who mess with sims alien abduction ect
I wish the sentiments were more descriptive. Half the time I cannot figure out what made my sim upset with them in the first place.
THIS.
Yes, something like an origin statement similar to the one on moodlets would be great (e.g from cheating, or from argument).
YES to the dumpsters spawning in every world. I play Rags to Riches to start every game and NEED that too!
The memory/screenshot system! Even though it's not very in depth, I'd like to see them update/change it. The fact that assigning moods to pics was removed and now auto-applies a mood is frustrating.
Do you know how to work the memory system on console?
@@celadorr5881unfortunately I have no idea as I’ve only ever played on PC.
Assuming you play on PS4 (like I do), you can press the OPTIONS button once to take a screenshot, and twice to record.
I LOVE the idea of making heirloom furniture on the woodworking table! Cribs, rocking chairs, the rocking horse, etc.
Same! I was so excited to get to change my sims pronouns but I speak French so I'm pretty sure I'm never going to see it happen in the game...
I agree about microscope. I just want more science as a hobby activities or just more hobby activities in general.
18:00 for the pronouns they could add an interraction ”ask pronouns” which gives you a notification telling you that sim’s pronouns
LOL
Repario DOES work on the dumpster furniture. I've done it. It's useful for insurance fraud.
Don't say it too loud, the Sims IRS will hear you lol
I agree on the most of it. I'd also add the following on the list too:
* Speaking of Flea Markets, Marketplaces in Eco Lifestyle could also benefit from an update.
I would not mind if more holiday activities and icons were added to the holiday creation menu
I used to get invited to parties all the time but I'm not sure if it was sims 3 or 4 though lol
I'd love a small microscope! I agree with the features you mentioned. Hopefully the new base game team works on some of these.
I just started watching this, so you may address it yet - but I NEED SCENARIOS to come back. I loved those!
I love the standing videos, you're even sassier when you stand XD
3:25 Funny because I feel the same way about the Spice festival.
(and I'm sure the CAS filters could be in the same boat, I just don't use CAS as much)
Great suggestion about the flea market@ 4:28 the rewards store, and sentiments
Plant Sims is a feature they forgot about
A thing that I like with Spa Day : Yoga is pretty good to get out of a burnout.
What mod adds objects to the reward store please?
@@reading1713 The two Whims mods for a starter.
I thought magic could repair furniture, but I could be wrong. Does scruberoo work?
tbf i think it can. i’ve just said in the past i don’t always wanna have a spellcaster to do it so i got confused. i do still wish there was an easier way
I also really wish we had a radio within build mode.
12:23 sims 3 too i remember when my sim got caught cheating and the relationship was completely ruined 😭 literally nothing i tried could fix it
With neighbourhood stories sims still can’t get married or divorced. I hope it comes with the new romance pack
The fact that San Myshuno doesn’t haven’t dumpster is so absurd!
nah i think you’re right. i just wish we didn’t always have to be in the career or have a spellcaster
If they're so concerned about upsetting people, they can add an optional toggle to the settings, but again, consequences and spontaneity make the game more interesting
in sims 3 even the babies feel betrayed by a parent cheating
the burrito babies had so much sass 😂
I don’t want more furniture added to the flea market because that would reduce the chances of finding the furniture that’s supposed to only be available from the flea market.
The first refresh should have been dine out or waited until after werewolves and refresh realm of magic because dying out, everybody wants that fixed, and a lot of people already have it so would’ve made them play it more and then with round of magic once we got the werewolves and they connected everything it would’ve made people want witches if they refreshed that pack
I hope they are listening. Great video
Lot types!! When was the last time we had a gym in a new world? Like, I don't need 2 more bars and a lounge, I want more skill-related lots like gyms and libraries and museums.
Also, GTW is still so broken and needs an update badly!
there is a mod to add more furniture to the flea market btw!
Woodworking and crafting in general need updates. Making and doing things is the only thing I really want in game. More to do.
-Perhaps Molly possesses the powers us mortals could only dream of 🫠
lounges annoying me why to they sit on them to eat and read they sit like similar way as bed they dont lay on lounge chairs to eat and read on it.
I would like to see new events added to the calendar. I can only endure so many prank days and speak like a pirate days..
The leak says we will be able to cuddle on bed in the new expansion
Youre very wrong sims absolutely can lay on the bed and sit and chat
they very much can’t i literally tried it before recording this video to remind myself. all they can do is watch tv. if you start a conversation they both just sit on the edges of the bed. every interaction has footprints next to it which means they have to reroute to do it
This is 100% what infuriates me about the Sims team, it's just a sloppy standard of work from start to finish.
The Sims team has high turnover. And the game is already so buggy and bloated that it's hard to keep track on the development side.
LOVE YOUR BEDSHEETS
The Sims 4 takes items from you when your offline. That you paid for.😡👎
I think a lot of things aren't forgotten about, but they listen to a portion of the community.
Small microscope for real
I'm shocked that after two years they still didnt make an effort to add pronouns to other languages??
I would like to see child sims be able to change their pronouns and start social transition. Sure, they can wear whatever clothes we want them to, but we can't change their pronouns, they can't "come out", and there's no going to therapy sessions or anything for them. We already know that kids as young as 3 or 4 know that they're LGBT irl; it should be in the game as well.
No These Features arent forgoten
But alot of times the budget of a pack means ther need to cut corners to make the pack work.
Hell nighberhood Storys got Horse Adoption last year.
And I think recent packs didnt have anything that neded a specific new sentiment.
There's a mod but i feel your a pure gamer. Dissapointed where sims going..
Also you're not the first Simmer to throw in a Hamilton reference and I applaud you for that.
Did you know you have been added to the Sweet Baby ink list. For being a DEI game.😂😂😂👍
they could def do more expansion or integration to previous packs like voodoo dolls are base game but they could have expanded with magic or paranormal stuff but nope🥲🥲
