Welcome to club 😅 have all 4 seasons and some standalone DLCs, and what I like - I can jump in, done a task and be done, or just spend all day chilling, screaming and again chilling 😅 single player at its best 😅
If you buy, I would recommend NOT getting the DLC's until you have completed the first three regions. The game feels the most rewarding and gives the best experience when beating the base game without any of the DLC trucks or special tires. Some early DLC regions will also be a bit hellish if you don't properly learn the mechanics of the game early on.
500 hours in over the last few years I can say I love this game. I wish they made it easier to communicate with players and better server stability but other than that 👍🤷♂️
I bought snowrunner on it's release day. I actually bought My PlayStation 4 just for this game. I played snowrunner only for over a year without playing any other game on PS4.The fact that they are still releasing new content is awesome and makes this game worth it's weight in gold. You do have to buy the seasons dlc though. Snowrunner is now available on ps+ for those who have it this game is a no brainer. I have a lot of fun playing this game and I'm approaching 3,000 hours of play time. I like trucks IRL so that helps but I think snowrunner is a game anyone will enjoy. Thanks for the video and I highly recommend giving this game a try.
I genuinely dont understand how people can reach that much hours in a game i have grinded 1 game like crazy only to reach 500 hours and get bored and even that felt like an eternity, u must not have seen the light of day i dont understand
@@d.d2062I have probably around 5k hours in all my ps4/ps5 games combined. Mainly being dayz and hunt showdown about 3500 hours together and then you add all the other games I’ve played. It’s not that we haven’t seen the light of day, it’s just we have more time to play games than you do and that’s okay. He may be a kid, I as an adult just am lucky to be able to have the time to play and tbh most of my hours come from before I had near as many responsibilities. That all being said going outside and doing something, exploring, hunting, having fun in any sense is what I’d recommend 😂 but idk I just felt I needed to say something, have a good day man
To me, the biggest con is the tunnel system breaking apart the maps. Made it harder for me personally to plan multiple deliveries across maps. I’d prefer one large map that changes terrain and weather. I really like it and rate it highly as well.
It's also got really solid force feedback design. I've wheeled a classic Bronco all over Colorado and California, as well as driven class 8 trucks on rough dirt roads, and can tell you that the FFB design is quite good. Falling down into a rut, climbing out of one, going over rocks and hundreds of other things really feel like they should. Confirm there is a ton of content. I've got over 600 hours in it and have not even touched 6 seasons.
This game have many tech-issues and missed opportunities... but still great and unique! Still very relaxing, unhurried and also challenging game, there you can spent hundreeds of hours. You can play it 6 hours without break, then drop it for 3 months... and come back there any time! Very similar to "Death stranding" meditative atmosphere, but without mistique (except ghosts, UFO, monsters paths etc). Physics and driving here actually very primitive, but: "Easy to learn, hard to master!". Limitless ways to make missions, and total freedom for experiments and trials. Also great maps with beautiful views of nature and villages! Funny, that othen it becomes more a quest, than a truck-sim (specially, at high-levels of difficulty). Highly reccomend to try, even if you never liked racing-games!
@@matejvojtanik1307yea but the trials dont make sense, the whole point of the game is "slow and steady" it just made me tilt my head and say huh? When i saw them
Owning both I think mud runner is better. It has a more consistent feeling. And open world. Snowrunner it feels like you always driving down hallways. And the terrain feels off vs MR.
That is true, ive seen far too many players just keep their trucks in auto in this game and just be rippin it through the mud, where as if you did that in mudrunner, say goodbye to that truck cuz it WILL get stuck lmfao
Also i second the hallways thing, what is the purpose of having a massive p16 if i cant enjoy it to the fullest? And genuinely some of these tree branches are far too strong.......
Why ? So you can get stuck even faster ? Even born and bred off-road vehicles like the different land rovers and jeeps have problems traversing the msp. A SUV is just a waste of time (and money).
i just started the game and i cant do any missions at all i keep getting stuck in mud and the trench thing or whatever cant even pull me out when i have a trailer luckily i realized i had a better truck bc i got the game along with a bunch of dlcs but i still get stuck any tips?
@@Viperpro140 there is actually a way but this way is to buy dlc with tires BUT don't do that, you will lose that feeling of improvement. it is meant to be that hard on Michigan to teach you how to behave in situations like stuck in mud or something, you must just learn by yourself how to prevent that from happening to your trucks by, for example, driving through the mud slower or in L gearbox. you must learn when to use H or L gears, how to push the maximum power of your winch etc.. I can give more advices if you want, I have in this game 550+ hours so I know what I'm yapping about.
@@teksek6 what missions should i do? all of the contracts i see need some material that i cant get to cuz i keep getting stuck on the road to that factory or whatever to get that material
Worth it until year 3 pass.. Year 4 ain't that good..Also highly recommended to not buy any truck packs like zikz mastodon and ruin the early game experience
Great game, the SR, but if they had kept the MR engine, it would have been much better. The MR has better physics (especially the tires) and better, more responsive engine sounds.
DO NOT BUY on Xbox series X. Ground textures don’t load in still for 2 YEARS now. There are a lot more problems aswell that they refuse to fix. For 2 years they have not fixed a fucking thing.
I have it on Series X. They’ve done a lot of work on the game and resolved many of its issues. I’d highly recommend buying it on Series X in its current state.
@@SECElit3 haha absolutely not. Ground textures don’t load in and are blurry, video settings are broken and don’t save nor display properly, the Xbox one version of game was in HDR Dolby vision at a smooth 60fps and now there is no HDR and frame rate is all over the place, loading times were 18-25 seconds and now it’s 30-1:30 loading times, game mode use to work and now it doesn’t. There are more issues as well that have been here since the Xbox series release. So NO, it is not worth buying.

weather doesn't actually affect the terrain difficulty
It can make it really f*ckin hard to see sometimes. Leading you to drive into less than desirable positions lol
Tbh if it did it would ruin the game, places would be either impassible or too easy
pretty sure it does lol.
