@@E.HondaSF ya I'm still salty about how that game was taken away from us. The crappy thing is that the Lions are hardly ever in that position meaning leading late in the 4th quarter of a playoff game and that could have been the Lions second playoff win since the merger
@Fries that's pretty cool thanks for sharing. I wasn't born yet but I believe that was the year the cowboys beat the Lions 5 to 0 in the playoffs lol what a crazy score! And of course after that year there was like a 13 year playoff drought in Detroit.
@Fries they went to the ridiculous post season in the strike year of 1982 with a 4 and 5 record and got blow out by the eventual champs the Washington football team and Pete Rozelle had given the league 16 playoff spots that year due to the 9 game schedule. The next year the Lions won the NFC central with a 9 and 7 record and then in the divisional round the Lions almost upset San Francisco but Eddie Murray missed a field goal on the last play of the game that would have won it. Then not again to 1991
@Fries Billy Sims is my favorite athletes of all time! He was the person who got me into sports when I was 8 years old. My dad kept bringing up how the Lions got this guy named sims and couldn't wait for opening day vs the Rams. At that point I hated sports but I reluctantly watched that first game with my dad at 8 years old and by halftime I was hooked and Sims excited me so much. After that game I started watching the redwings pistons tigers and started playing and lol a sports monster was created. About 8 years ago Billy Sims was doing a meeting and greet at a grand opening of a Menards store in metro Detroit and my son asked if I wanted to go and I said yes. So my son and I met him and my son told him the story of how he got me into sports and Billy was just awesome. He spent like 20 minutes talking with us and we told him I was coaching my son's flag football team and Billy was diagramming plays for me for the team to try and it was incredible. I was 43 at the time but I felt like that 8 years old kid for that moment and it's just a great memory for a real special day my son and I enjoyed with each other. Sorry I kinda went on about it but he really changed my life in a great way.

Because the Bucs were scripted into the SB that year. They were a slightly-above average team at best (hence why NO beat them handily) and the NFL wanted to ensure that travel was limited due to COVID. Since Tampa was the host site for the SB, it was only logical to ensure they made it there. Some of the most egregious officiating I have ever seen came on the NFC side of the playoffs in 2020. Hence, the Bucs 2020 SB is arguably the most tainted SB in NFL history.

I’ve gone to at least 1 Bills game every year since 2012 (excluding 2020) and I saw them get smacked at home by the Saints and their rush game by 37 points 47-10. The legend Nathan Peterman came in to throw a TD and the next week we started him over Tyrod vs the Chargers, and we all know what happens that game…
I feel good knowing that the Bears showed up first on this list as well as all the other times they showed up afterwards. Every NFL Team's BEST Home Win next?

6:30 - Says Arizona Cardinals, 0-38 Vs Seahawks, (a 38 point home loss) then proceeds to talk about how it was the Eagles beat them 52-10 (a 42 point home loss)? I'm so confused.
4 beat downs including the biggest (and an even bigger one that wasn't counted) along with the lowest beat down taken. That's the biggest W we'll see all year.
The St. Louis Cardinals lost 55-14 at home to the Miami Dolphins on Thanksgiving in 1977, which was the second of two years the Cowboys didn't host a holiday game (the other was 1975, when the Cards lost 32-14 to the Bills). That 41-point margin is greater than the 38-point margin in the video
When I saw the title, I was expecting these to be games that had the most significance because the first thing that came to my mind was the 2019 Ravens losing in the Divisional Round vs the Titans

The funny thing about the Lions' worst home loss coming in 1961 is that the Lions were actually pretty good then. At the time, there were just two NFL conferences, the winners of each conference played each other for a championship, and the runners-up played a consolation game for some reason. The Lions were runners-up in '60, '61, and '62, all behind Vince Lombardi's Packers, and they won the third-place game all three seasons. It wasn't the best era of Lions football (that would be the previous decade), but it was so far from the absolute misery of the mid-to-late '80s and most of the 21st century (and even a solid tier above the mediocrity of all but a handful of their remaining post-1962 seasons) that it's funny to see their worst home loss come from there.
I was at the Bills worst home blowout loss to the Patriots in 2007. I was also playing my sister in our fantasy league that weekend, and I had Brady and Moss on my team. When I saw how badly the Bills were going to get beat, my interest turned to how badly I would beat my sister. I beat her by over 80 points. The Browns previous worst home blowout was a 42-0 whitewash by the Bills in 1990.

How about for another video, the worst regular season losses for teams that want on to win the Super Bowl.
