Meaning That the state of Maryland would own the Colts and they couldn't legally leave Baltimore. That's why they moved so secretive and quickly before the ruling took effect.

Kenny took 15-20 Advils a day, which then ownership left freely available throughout the facility in dispensers, to treat an ankle injury for 3 months (only stopping when his personal physician told him to, and not a Seahawks representative) and was diagnosed with idiopathic nephrotic syndrome. This voided a trade to the Cardinals for QB Kelly Stouffer. The Seahawks then ownership not only didn't offer him condolences or an apology, but saw nothing wrong with offering literal dispensers of medication throughout the facility without medical supervision offered or given. This blew up in a court case (settled out of court) and many people in the U.S at the time started questioning the free ability to grab medication like this over the counter and the danger it posed to love ones without proper support and became a focus of some anti drug campaigns. Kenny Easley thankfully got a transplant and cut all ties with Seattle and the NFL for 15 years. When new ownership, then Paul Allen (RIP) took over he reached out to Kenny to place him in the Ring of Honor, making it clear he would hold off on any nomination requests until Kenny gave his official blessing. Kenny and Gail, his wife, were touched by the fact Paul reached out to him to undo the wrongs of a past ownership, and believed Pauls push was the reason Kennys name got traction again for the HOF process. I wanted to include this because a new owner, who had nothing to do with the wrongs against Mr. Easley, went out of his way to ensure future Seahawks could have a relationship with a man that played at a level all Seattle safeties must measure up to, regardless of how long he played.

Cardinals didn't actually steal anything. The league gave them the championship due to some flimsy rules about not playing professionals or something that Pottsville violated. Interesting is that the Cards owner at the time wouldn't accept the championship. It was later owners that claimed it.
@@stevenpeterson3734The Cardinals did schedule 2 games against teams who had already ended their seasons (the Milwaukee Badgers & Hammond Pros) - and in order to play the Badgers, one player for the Cardinals (Art Folz) paid a group of high schoolers - those 2 extra games allowed the Cardinals to technically have a higher win percentage.The NFL had approved the Maroons game against the Notre Dame all stars until the league changed their ruling during halftime of the game.
And yes, the owner at the time refused to accept the championship - it wasn’t until Charles Boswell bought the Cardinals that they accepted the championship

I know some people will never forgive Michael Vick for what he did I get it, but me personally. I say he has earned forgiveness because he took responsibility, served his time, has done a lot for dogs ever since, and has since improved from those terrible decisions
I honestly feel like he is truly remorseful for it. He does not seem like a bad guy. Likely got caught up in the pressure of his upbringing.

It's not like he just watched dog fighting. Or even had dogs that participated. Vick had dozens and dozens of dogs literally fighting to the death. Also remember, even if his dog won, he would usually murder it himself afterward. Did he at least make it fast, with a bullet to the head....not usually!!!

As a Seahawks fan here, practicing too hard was highly publicized. But the one you should've actually done for the list was the HOF Kenny Easley kidney failure. Kenny took 15-20 Advils a day, which then ownership left freely available throughout the facility in dispensers, to treat an ankle injury for 3 months (only stopping when his personal physician told him to, and not a Seahawks representative) and was diagnosed with idiopathic nephrotic syndrome. This voided a trade to the Cardinals for QB Kelly Stouffer.
The Seahawks then ownership not only didn't offer him condolences or an apology, but saw nothing wrong with offering literal dispensers of medication throughout the facility without medical supervision offered or given. This blew up in a court case (settled out of court) and many people in the U.S at the time started questioning the free ability to grab medication like this over the counter and the danger it posed to love ones without proper support and became a focus of some anti drug campaigns.
Kenny Easley thankfully got a transplant and cut all ties with Seattle and the NFL for 15 years. When new ownership, then Paul Allen (RIP) took over he reached out to Kenny to place him in the Ring of Honor, making it clear he would hold off on any nomination requests until Kenny gave his official blessing. Kenny and Gail, his wife, were touched by the fact Paul reached out to him to undo the wrongs of a past ownership, and believed Pauls push was the reason Kennys name got traction again for the HOF process. I wanted to include this because a new owner, who had nothing to do with the wrongs against Mr. Easley, went out of his way to ensure future Seahawks could have a relationship with a man that played at a level all Seattle safeties must measure up to, regardless of how long he played.
