For people wondering this ashe of war is a stun monster. Put it on your weapon not for damage but this will stun bosses very quickly and you can get free crits off it

On a level 50+ crit build it's very very good (even on bosses) for the staggered effect Just have to be careful getting swarmed in crit animation even if you are invincible you can quickly die thereafter

thanks for the guide. for some reason he was in my rountable and dead but dropped all his stuff there for me to get. Also quick thing, u dont need to go to blacksmith to remove ashes of war, any site of grace will do.

Once you burn the erd tree his body will have rogiers rapier+8 on him. You can duplicate the glintblade phalanx from that and apply it too your weapon of choice if you missed the questline.

I am having the same issue as Zach. Any help would be appreciated. The only thing I can think of is that is has something to do with the appearance of the dung eater in the round table hold. Not sure how to cure him.

If the guy is dead and doesn't give you dialogue, just go to the round table and, pass time , to noon when you get back to him, should have dropped his items

Anyone having trouble:
I accidentally skipped rogier till after I burned the erdtree
He was dead once I found him BUT after I completed black knife catacombs and beat the ringleader evergoal I was able to pick up all his stuff.

Can confirm two things:
1) You dont need to talk to rogier at stormveil for him to show up at the roundtable
2) i got the glintblade phalinx before i ever met rogier so there is another and presumably easier way to get it. Bad news is, i dont remember how or when i got it.

Is this missable? The npc in my game is dead is think. My round table has fire marks everywhere and the npc is just sitting there and when I interact with him I get the dialogue screen but no dialogue.

I am convinced the ridiculous stance break damage on this is an error. It just makes no sense and it's too good. It only costs 10 FP, and it automatically shoots at the enemy. With the cerulian dagger talisman you can just keep recovering your FP from all the stance breaks you'll be getting with it.

Most bosses have a hidden stance stat that is typically at 100 with a few exceptions. Each blade does roughly 10 stance damage each, adding up to 40 of all connect. Its the same reasons why Flame of the Redmanes does so much poise damage, it does roughly 60 per cast.
