Matrox MGA Millennium PCI (1995) Promo/Demos

The 1995 Matrox Millennium came bundled with a hardware accelerated version of NASCAR Racing. Here is a promo and the demos from the same CD. NASCAR Racing was the only software ever released that used this video card for acceleration.

Have had this card, amazing hardware at those ancient times :) There was an amazing video - promo for traveller about Toronto or Vancouver on CD. Don't zou bz chance have it a can publish as well?

Was it better than 3dfx in terms of 3d smoothness

N1's Matrox build uses VESA graphics modes to improve triangle rasterization and depth buffering. If you didn't want to use DOSBOX for some reason and wanted to build a period machine, it's the best choice IMHO for N1. :)

If my memory serves me well, the card at the time came with a bunch of game demos including Descent. It was definitely a 3D game card and it had many great video modes for early video game emulation.

@@RaceSimCentral I remember buying it at the time BECAUSE of the VESA modes. There were video game emulators that took advantage of VESA and I was using an arcade monitor.
