If you don't mind older models, you can find one around $10,000. They trouble is they do not age well. The extra weight from the armour is hell on the suspension and power train, cooling systems suffer, brakes, the windows will start delamination and become opaque.
And they are hell to drive. She's not kidding when she said everything is exaggerated. If you were running high speed through a city environment trying to escape, you'd only get a few blocks before it will start overheating or the brakes fade.

When it come to ordering my companies porsche cayenne's for close protection work worldwide, we wanted them all to be 3.0 diesel. We thought it would be cheap to run and still perform well. When we got round to armouring, we had to actually get 4.8ltr twin turbo v8's with 550 hp to even get them to move. It actually works out cheaper to run one of them then it would for the diesel. We get roughly 7-9 mpg on the motorway ! Roughly 3-4 city! So much to the extent we had to have an extra fuel tank!

These courses are hella fun. I did one in Glynco, GA for the military. They failed to mention in the video that spirited driving will heat up the brakes in a pretty short amount of time, leaving you with a spongy brake pedal.
If you install such stuff on a Mitsubishi mirage it wouldn't even move.

our old Mercedes W140 comes standard with bulletproof windows but it isnt bombproof
no it doesn't. the windows are double-pane for extra sound insulation and for the prevention of condensation (fogging). they are not bullet proof.
but can't they just pop the tires? I mean who the hell will actually armour tires because it will make the ride very stiff and uncomfortable.

So they take the whole vehicle apart and stuff it with an under layer of similar shaped protective materials, replace external components like struts/shocks, fuel tanks with reinforced replacements etc. Might as well start building entire vehicles under your own brand name.
