    How’s the power steering setup holding up? Any issues? Does it come with an adjustable knob to tweak the assist?

    Amazing video man. Just wondering what the plug was on that original line was was it like a pressure sensor. Keep the content coming it’s great ❤

      Thanks so much bro!
      Yeah seems to be a pressure sensor, no lights after disassembly so it’s cool just zip tie it out of the way 👍🏼

    1400+ little too much for my liking awesome product but I’d rather just deal with the leaks as they come lol

    Great to see the install on this. I've been trying to get Vergo to email or call me back. Are they even still making these?

      Not 100% sure on that honestly I can’t imagine he would have stopped he put so much time into it

    Hey Im curious, I see your ignition is upside down. & also your motor sits further from the brake pedal then mine does in the s14. Did you have to rotate the column to get the igniton back to the bottom?

    • @SpiritDriven
      @SpiritDriven  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No it was already set up for the ignition 👍🏼

  • @parkd240

    Sal does your toe hit the motor on that column? looks low

    • @SpiritDriven
      @SpiritDriven  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      No it’s completely out of the way, no clearance issues 👍🏼

    Any driving impressions on this? Better or worse feeling than hydraulic steering? I’m thinking about ordering this for my s14 track car.

    • @SpiritDriven
      @SpiritDriven  ปีที่แล้ว

      Much more reliable than hydraulic for sure
      At times I was having random issues wheee I would lose PS for about 1/2 a second which really throws the cars balance off
      This system is a very direct and slightly heavier feel which in my opinion is nice
      It’s been reliable and has been worth the money and time spent

    • @nicholaslapinta9315
      @nicholaslapinta9315 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks bud, hope you figure out the cut out problem. Intermittent loss of voltage? Bad connector?

    Did you have a chance to drive the car with just the manual steering rack Vergo offers?

    • @SpiritDriven
      @SpiritDriven  ปีที่แล้ว

      I did not but I imagine it’s the same just heavier haha

  • @jokerroo
    @jokerroo ปีที่แล้ว +1

    sorry for asking.. why do need to keep the steering pump??

    • @SpiritDriven
      @SpiritDriven  ปีที่แล้ว

      No worries!
      You could delete the pump and get a smaller belt and run a different pulley but you’ll need to delete the ac bracket to fit the new pulley
      So instead of losing a/c we just keep it there

    • @jokerroo
      @jokerroo ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@SpiritDriven ohh i see.. i thaught its same as rb engine.. cause no need to replace pulley ac or remove.. any way thank you so much 🙏🏻🙏🏻👍

    • @SpiritDriven
      @SpiritDriven  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Haven’t driven the car in a while but it’s really nice to not worry about leaks and whining from the old pump!

  • @alexpopa7385
    @alexpopa7385 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    I'm confused, you sent them the column and they sent you the modified column back and then you had a separate column that you swapped out your ignition? Do they require you send them the column without the ignition?

    • @SpiritDriven
      @SpiritDriven  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      You do have to remove the ignition
      My step was a little different they were able to ship me the column up front
      But what you’ll do is remove everything
      Send them the column and rack
      And then they’ll modify it all for you
      And then you’ll install it back into the car

    Leaks aren’t hard to fix. Yours looked pretty dry under there.

    • @SpiritDriven
      @SpiritDriven  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Not hard to fix just a pain to do
      I’d like to avoid it as much as possible
      Also it looks clean because a few videos back we did an engine deep clean

    • @HelpingHandAutoRepair
      @HelpingHandAutoRepair 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@SpiritDriven “not hard to fix but a pain to do” is an oxymoron. Packaging looks good on the electronic stuff. Hope it doesn’t give any issues. Also
