I really like this crazy german. He really has balls and drives the hell out of the cars. And lets not overlook that he plays "Eye of the tiger" while driving at 300Kph on Autobahn! Youre a true hero, keep it up man!
pfff, i´m german too and when i hammered the C7 down the bahn i always had in my USB stick with Preussens Gloria and other old Fritz marches....C7 all the time ;-)
I think it has also something to do with the over all perception of women in generell in the US. They're often portrait as beeing weak. No Man whos constantly toled how strong he has to be, wants to drive a "womens" car.
Jeffrey Barry yep perfect for family vacations, usual shopping and dropping the kids at school during the week, and on the weekend play with Supercars during a track day.. I don't like wagons and I'm European, but this goes on the list of perfect cars. I mean for those with a huge bank account, that is.
Nice review!. The RS6 is an insane every day rocket!. Doing >300 in Germany is getting more challenging these days with busy autobahn and a lot of road work. Did 304KM/h (190mph) in my dads R8 v8, 3 years ago, probably only 6-7km from the Dutch boarder and havent improved it ever since. Been on multiple roadtrips in Germany but never really had the oppertunity to break my old record. Getting to an 280-290 is doable, getting the last miles out of it takes a lot of time.... It's pretty crazy since your passing cars with a speed differance of almost 200KM/h and braking takes a long time. Best to do the early in the morning on a saturday when there are no trucks.
Joseph Belfi Believe it or not, this guy learned English from watching Seinfeld and The Sopranos. He's never been to the United States and lives in Germany. Absolutely hilarious. That's why he has a weird New Yorkish, German accent.
Great review, its a given I am a huge wagon fan. I wish they sold these here in the states but I had to make due with the CTS-V wagon. Its great having something so fast yet still practical to use. I love that exhaust popping. Music to my ears.
I love this car. On my first business trip after starting work at Audi I got to drive one of these. It was like I had died and gone to heaven. I love hearing them drive by my build at the factory in Ingolstadt. AMAZING sound.
I live in america and ONLY drive wagons, SUV's are lame, sedans are boring and can't hold as much shit, wagons rule! lots of americans think that, american auto journalists loves them, ever listen to the smoking tire podcast?
I was complaining about the lack of wagons in USA, not about wagons themselves. I want to buy one but selection is pretty poor, there are like 6 or seven models to chose from real wagons (non-lifted).
I consider Outback a lifted wagon from the factory. Similar to Audi Allroad or Volvo XC70. What many people want but can't get in the US are regular wagons with same ride height as their sedan counterparts, just like this RS6. I think there are only 5 to choose from: Mercedes E class, Golf SportWagen, Volvo V60, Volvo V90 (special order only), BMW 330xi (no other options available). If I've missed any, please feel free to add to this thread.
***** I need a little lift, I live in the woods and everyone here makes fun of me for driving a wagon, but they still need me to pull their truck out when they get stuck. My wife has an XC70, I want a V70R but it wouldn't make it around here.
It's painful to watch because I know it will never come to the US. You guys said it exactly right. It does everything well. Grocery getter, cruiser, carves canyons, take the kids to school in style and is a blast to drive after you drop the kids off. It checks all the boxes! I need this car in my life!
This is the first one of these Euro only vehicle episodes I actually wanted to watch. How lucky are Europeans to get this monster of a wagon. Please Audi, bring the RS6 wagon to the states. That is all!
As an American Allroad driver, I’d kill for this car in America. Yeah - they might not sell many - but the people that would buy them are absolute fanatics who would love these cars.
Guys there is more to North America then just the States. I'd buy that car here in Canada, however, what would stop me is our fuel price. Money is not the stopper. I would probably lose my licence within 30 days if I had this car. Our speeding tickets for 50 km/h over the posted speed is $10,000 plus seizure of your car for a period of time. I can't afford losing my car. Anyway, good review. Thanks.
We get the RS7 here in Canada. I'm sure our neighbours to the south could get one. I've brought cars into Canada that weren't sold here and had no problem. As long as the car imported meets your safety standards it shouldn't be a problem.
i saw this in the road and was praying i would do an amazing take off but it didn't. i love the big back end unlike the lope one in the sedan version beside the R8
Hi mate, great video you did there. I'd like to suggest that you guys should make a video comparison of the different 4 liter V8 engines. Say compare it with Mercedes AMG 4 liter V8 twin turbo with the Audi ones. Cheers!
Actually Dodge Hellcat is sold in Europe and all other US market only cars, you only need to know where to look for them and I'm not talking about grey import, you can buy it from showrooms brand new
what dialect is that? the accent and mispronunciation of all the words is insane. you sound like you grew up in brooklyn, italy, poland and scotland at the same time
Jesus this thing is insane. I have an A4 Avant Quattro and love the wagon. an RS7 would be SO awesome in the US, but fuck that's expensive too. Also the US should have some Autobahns.
I love how this car is a family car but faster than supercars oh and some guy literally modded his rs6 to 1015 hp and it shifted even when he was driving 300km/h and we're talking about a family car. I still can't fucking believe it
You might get a TTS with quattro and a nice diesel A6 for less than a RS6. They are better sporty and family cars, the RS6 its just an amazing no-speed-limit Autobahn car, but have too many drawbacks to be a smart buy
CGPacifica High infrastructure quality is an important subject in countries like Germany and Sweden. Huge amounts of money is spent on safety fences and good highway roads.
I may be the minority here but while the production quality of this is good (and nothing against Tom), I'm getting tired of the format. The original reason I subbed to this channel is because it offers multiple viewpoints on cars and the different perspectives help make the video much more interesting that a typical one-man car review show. I can go to any of the decent car review channels and sub if I want that format, but it's gotten too linear and boring.
"Unnecessary, that's the point". yeap, it is, that's why these kind of cars are so awesome (if you like them, of course, if you don't then why the hell are you looking at this? )
and we in germany wait for the Camaro ZL1 and wait and wait and wait and wait.....chevy cant or wont deliver that car which drove down the Nuerburgring like only a few Supercars.
whoa that almost $5.80 gallon then the euro has drop in value ouch don't miss living in Italy with those prices. Driving Vespa all day in winter with those prices
yes an very day driver that can demolish a Porsche turbo s ( just not in the bends ). I lust after this car but ... I'd be scared of running out fuel every 200km stretch
I really like this crazy german. He really has balls and drives the hell out of the cars.
And lets not overlook that he plays "Eye of the tiger" while driving at 300Kph on Autobahn! Youre a true hero, keep it up man!
pfff, i´m german too and when i hammered the C7 down the bahn i always had in my USB stick with Preussens Gloria and other old Fritz marches....C7 all the time ;-)
This isn't "that" special really. These roads are of really high quality in Germany and Scandinavia.
He's German? At first I thought he's from New Jersey or something :D
This is the only Audi I'm absolutely in love with
damn it, why do people hate wagons in the US so much. this is bad ass and I want it!
I love wagons/estates. I missed my B5 1.8t passat wagon 5-speed. American just don't really get it, if you know what I mean.
the wagon craze of the 80s killed them off, everyones parents drove wagons and the best way to make a car style die out is if their parents drove them
Joseph Belfi they prefer cuvs and SUVs instead of wagons....
I think it has also something to do with the over all perception of women in generell in the US. They're often portrait as beeing weak. No Man whos constantly toled how strong he has to be, wants to drive a "womens" car.
We buy wagons here in Canada as they get much better mileage. High fuel prices would bring wagons back to the States/
"Family on the go." - 200mph and space for your Costco purchases.
Jeffrey Barry yep perfect for family vacations, usual shopping and dropping the kids at school during the week, and on the weekend play with Supercars during a track day.. I don't like wagons and I'm European, but this goes on the list of perfect cars. I mean for those with a huge bank account, that is.

the bald guy looks and sounds like a version of Chris Harris that grew up in Bronx
I've never met anyone from the Bronx who sounds like that.
Joseph Belfi Believe it or not, this guy learned English from watching Seinfeld and The Sopranos. He's never been to the United States and lives in Germany. Absolutely hilarious. That's why he has a weird New Yorkish, German accent.
He sounds like Bill Burr...
X V yes, it is absolutely true.
hultii lmao this man must have the strongest NY accent in Europe.
Rich man's hellcat is the perfect description for this car.
But with Quattro all-wheel drive and practicality ;-)
and better interior quality
And much better build quality and reliability
and twice as expensive... wow... so impressive...
Paul Jeitler That's why he said "rich man's Hellcat" lol.
Besides, the Hellcat costs almost the same as the RS6 here in Sweden.
Great review, its a given I am a huge wagon fan. I wish they sold these here in the states but I had to make due with the CTS-V wagon. Its great having something so fast yet still practical to use. I love that exhaust popping. Music to my ears.
Hey, I really appreciate the debrief you guys did at the end of this episode. I think it brought a lot more perspective and thought to the piece.
God I love this car. The guy driving really knows his stuff.
This is what we need in car reviews. You can see how this guy genuinely enjoys driving this car. Great video.
I love this car. On my first business trip after starting work at Audi I got to drive one of these. It was like I had died and gone to heaven. I love hearing them drive by my build at the factory in Ingolstadt. AMAZING sound.
Too bad wagons are seen as "uncool" in the US so manufacturers don't sell them. At least we can get E63 Wagon...
I lifted my outback, but I actually use it offroad.
I consider Outback a lifted wagon from the factory. Similar to Audi Allroad or Volvo XC70. we still have the RS7 and believe me. that thing still puts you in your seat.
I really enjoyed this guy. You could tell he's actually having fun driving the car. Hope to see him review more cars I never get to see here
This is the best Boston/New York/German accent I've ever heard xD
This is better than the junk Motortrend has been putting out lately.
I wish they sold those here in America!!! This is my dream car 😍😍😍 I NEEEEEEED IT!
Bryan Da Silva Quattro is The BEST!
It's painful to watch because I know it will never come to the US. You guys said it exactly right. It does everything well. audi hates us. :(
Such a rad review! Angles of a review you rarely see, that was dope
As an American Allroad driver, I’d kill for this car in America. Yeah - they might not sell many - but the people that would buy them are absolute fanatics who would love these cars.
Do you learn English from watching the Sopranos or something?
customX09 The answer is yes. I believe he is also an instructor with RSR, please correct me if I'm wrong.
His accent reminds me of Click and Clack from Car Talk on NPR.
@@illiteratebeef I thought the same thing.
Well done boys, enjoy that tang.
Thanks for watching, guys!
savageese and everydaydriver, some of the best car reviewers out there. Driveopolis is also super good, too bad he doesnt make videos that often

Saw half the title. Immediately think "OH YEAH! USA HAS AN AUDI WAGON NOW?!"
Clicked on the video and saw full title. "bloody hell. fck me"
Thumbs up for me here on that Review. Gonna drive my own RS6 performance soon. Love that car !!!!
RS6 vs E63 AMG, wagons are the best when they're built like this, perfect sleeper.
"CARBON CERAMICS!" *raspberry noises* I love this guy.
We get the RS7 here in Canada. I'm sure our neighbours to the south could get one. I've brought cars into Canada that weren't sold here and had no problem. As long as the car imported meets your safety standards it shouldn't be a problem.
love these wagons it is amazing. the ultimate soccer dad car!
"BAWSess". Drop this guy in Long Island and he would fit right in.
Good show. I like the format.
The autobahn with classical music killed me lol. I need to try this in mine. Too bad no autobahn here
These is a bad ass wagon!! Audi has really nailed it!!! 👌🏽
Love it, wish I could have gotten my B8 S4 in avant guise. Keep up the fun reviews.
i saw this in the road and was praying i would do an amazing take off but it didn't. i love the big back end unlike the lope one in the sedan version beside the R8
This is a beaut! Bring it to the US!
The ABSOLUTE car for the understated boss
This guys great, not one bad review yet..
Keep up the good work, guys! Very entertaining and informing ;)
If I could only have one car for the rest of my life, this would be the car.
1:03 that expression a sign of pure engineering
Hi mate, great video you did there. I'd like to suggest that you guys should make a video comparison of the different 4 liter V8 engines. Say compare it with Mercedes AMG 4 liter V8 twin turbo with the Audi ones. Cheers!
RS7 Performance model in Canada has the same engine but is 'only' $140K CAD. It's a bargain, relatively.
Tom should go to GeigerCars in Munich, they probably will give him a Hellcat to drive on the Autobahn
"heyyy, jabroni. get the fawk outta hea!" RS6 Avant is fawking fast, yo!
Actually Dodge Hellcat is sold in Europe and all other US market only cars, you only need to know where to look for them and I'm not talking about grey import, you can buy it from showrooms brand new
How fast it got from 100km/h to 160km/h as a shock even for me and I'm not easily shocked.
Is it the sound of the video or does it make more noise than a Mustang GT ?
Great review
I love that Audi made this. I don't love that they didn't make it in the US.
Tom, you should do more videos man..
love this new guy! great, great, great!
Try the RS7 here in NA.. It's the same car almost on same platform than the RS6
what dialect is that? the accent and mispronunciation of all the words is insane. you sound like you grew up in brooklyn, italy, poland and scotland at the same time
By far my fav sleeper (is it a sleeper? The rs badge gives it away. Oh well, id rebadge it as an a6 if that even works😅)
Please find and review a new ZL1. Thank you.
nice review
Jesus this thing is insane. I have an A4 Avant Quattro and love the wagon. an RS7 would be SO awesome in the US, but fuck that's expensive too.
Also the US should have some Autobahns.
I'd buy one tomorrow!
could you import these to the U.S.?
4:40 Aachen at night. Love this city!
I love how this car is a family car but faster than supercars oh and some guy literally modded his rs6 to 1015 hp and it shifted even when he was driving 300km/h and we're talking about a family car. I still can't fucking believe it
are you from boston?
Love that...richman 'Hellacat'
probably the perfect car to have if you could only have 1.
fast, luxurious, practical
good work
Great wagon!
I love your english
For the love of God Audi!!!!! WHY CAN'T WE HAVE ONE IN AMERICA?!?!?
How much is it for a TT and a regular A6 avant?
You might get a TTS with quattro and a nice diesel A6 for less than a RS6. They are better sporty and family cars, the RS6 its just an amazing no-speed-limit Autobahn car, but have too many drawbacks to be a smart buy
My dream car too bad it will never be in USA
The new one's in the US
Haha man the best moment at 4:55 Wolfgang Amadeus with 307 km/h
American here, BEYOND jealous that they stopped selling the A6 Avant in the states and then on top of it an RS6.... SMH
Dream car territory.
I feel sorry for Americans not having the rs6
carspotter 0 it makes me depressed man 😓😓😓
Love this car but I'd be too frustrated to own a car like this. All that power and I can't use it on public roads. It would drive me nuts.
can we at least import one from Europe?
Don't you have deer in Germany? I would be too afraid to drive that fast at night.
CGPacifica High infrastructure quality is an important subject in countries like Germany and Sweden. Huge amounts of money is spent on safety fences and good highway roads.

Midnught Autobahn run, 4:54, you are welcome.
I like this guy
vw dub guys understand "if you're not rubbing you're not dubbing"
I guess I should just be happy that I have an audi a6 allroad 2.7t.
How is it for you mate? I've got allroad but 3.0 TDI, still the best car I've owned by far, but eyeing the RS6..
I’d buy an RS if they did manual. So the S models is where it’s at for me.
Is he playing 'eye of the tiger'!!!
APR chip it, now you have a supercar killer.
MTM bro!
and we in germany wait for the Camaro ZL1 and wait and wait and wait and wait.....chevy cant or wont deliver that car which drove down the Nuerburgring like only a few Supercars.
Up to 300 km nice 👍 and smooth hway...
whoa that almost $5.80 gallon then the euro has drop in value ouch don't miss living in Italy with those prices. Driving Vespa all day in winter with those prices
Liemciemdk89 the euro has been around one to one with the US dollar for many years now, fuel price is dictated by taxes
fuel prices are dictated by supply Europe imports from Middle East ,North Africa and Russia
75% of fuel price here in Finland is tax and it's same story in UK and i assume in Germany too
and you can drive this without any problems in snow thanks to quattro :)
We need a Dodge Magnum Hellcat (AWD)
How does a German speak like he grew up in South Boston?
yes an very day driver that can demolish a Porsche turbo s ( just not in the bends ). I lust after this car but ... I'd be scared of running out fuel every 200km stretch
This guy reminds me so much of Bill Burr
MONEY BE DAMNED. 👍😫😖😬😤
...almost forget , doing great, guys!!! 👍
I'll save my money for the RSQ5
greasemonger29 there is no RSQ5 Only a SQ5
Kasper Hammarlund
It's on it's way
But it dont have the nice Diesel engine.
The SQ5+ enginge tuned by abt have such insanly many Newtonmeters.
greasemonger29 okay didn't know that
