I’m 63 yrs old grandma in the Midwest. I’ve been homebound due to health problems for many years and can’t go out much to church. I felt the Holy Spirit in Dan’s performance! He is such a genuinely wonderful person and loves God. I think this world s a mess right now and Dan s one f those voices calling us out of the darkness into the Light of God’s love. I have only discovered Dan Vasc in the past month or so and I cannot get enough of his performances. His version of Amazing Grace is, not surprisingly, my favorite. Like many other Christians, this powerful song of Salvation touches my heart like no other. Dan's interpretation and performance is amazing in the extreme range that he achieves in his singing and the way in which he exposes the magnificent raw emotion so many of us feel when we come into awareness of how much Christ Jesus has done for us through the sacrifice He offered in His life and death here on Earth. Dan has taken the time to learn his music well and to learn how to manage and control his powerful voice in order to give this Amazing song the emotional and physical power it deserves. Not only that, but Dan, himself, is beautiful to look upon and watch as he carries through his extremely well crafted performance. How can we not view with respect the slight of hand pulling out of the harmonica and breathtaking strength with which he plays it? The breath he so powerfully presses through that instrument echos with a sounded so close to the Scottish bagpipes that often are heard being played for funerals or just for the simple remembrance and Praise of this song and of the God for whom it was written. Finally, Dan Vasc is a gifted and effective artist in his choices, research and deliverance of the music he chooses and the meaning behind it.
