I've always said it this game is the most underrated game ever. Litterally supported nonstop since 2012 launch, it's growing and improving all the time. It deserves SO MUCH more attention.

as a person whose played since beta, i wouldnt say this game was 'supported' all the way, there were 2 whole years of no new content and limited bug fixes that i remember. but, Rougue Planet Games is here to amend some of that now
Eh...I wouldn't say supported nonstop or even under-rated, when they say return to glory, they really, really mean it as the game had seriously fallen into an extremely pitiful and frustrating state to the point that many long time players were fed up, and others were screaming at DBG to sell the franchise to someone who could actually show it love and justice rather than the extreme neglect it got. When someone says "Planetside 2? Isn't that game dead?" they wouldn't have been wrong a mere 7-8 months ago, and at that point death would have been a mercy.
But not on PS4

@@boguslav9502 I played this game with a decent 8 years old PC (battlefield 3 recommended specs) and it worked great on the medium settings as long as I was avoiding massive air fights. I could be wrong, but I think many PCs can run this game with decent graphics and FPS.
And here i am running this game on low settings with a 8gb Ram and 750ti.....

No one likes fighting VS unless they have to, so they're usually quietly taking multiple bases at once from both NC and TR during no alerts. During alerts, they are confronted and the war begins.

We wanna see it gain success ! It's way better than any game in the genra. Even the economy behind it is acceptable. It doesn't poison the free2play players who buy nothing or subscribe to nothing.

This game was, at its release, and remains to this day, far ahead of its time. I play almost every day, especially now that I've started playing with an Outfit. Leading a platoon gives me the same feeling I had when I was in the Army, but even better

My second most played game on steam. It has been a consistent source of intense large scale combat entertainment that has only gotten better where other games got old and stale. Im wicked grateful that I stumbled across this game and community, it’s some of the most fun I’ve ever had gaming. GLORY TO THE TERRAN REPUBLIC!!!

It makes me very happy to see that this game trailer uses *ACTUAL IN GAME FOOTAGE OF REAL PEOPLE PLAYING THE GAME* It goes to show that the battles are genuine and they are far from planned. They just happen.

nc is literally a group of stupid rebels that fight for no reason
7 years later and Physx never returned to Planetside 2, really missed that feature when they removed it cause it made battles just more epic by having thousands of particle fly around or be on the ground after enemies shelled your position. It just gave the game a lot of extra fidelity wheras since then things have looekd rather "Clean" in comparison.
These guys really need to advertise there game across tv social media need more people playing in the servers this game is amazing just neeed more players again like in the past the game needs to be known !
I remember when I used to play this game this shit was like Battle Field V but instead of World war 2 it's very very futuristic I recommend this to anyone that hasn't played this to try there's sssso much stuff to do
For the longest time I played planetside on the "family computer" at like 11 fps. When I finally bought my own rig and returned to it after a few years break I was blown away by all the cool shit they added. Plus ya know more than 20fps on a shooter is pretty neat too.

I miss this game so much, in Australia its just a bad connection to the servers, you sneak up and empty your mag into someone, they jump,flick and kill you in a fraction of the time.

I like the scene at 2:23 and 2:31 where everyone charges out at once and then everyone stares down the surface together. Everyone wants this war to be over but they want to do it in there own way. you can see it in the way the stare down at Araxis they just want it to be over. Great Details.

I loved PlanetSide 1 and I love PlanetSide 2. There's something so unique about it that you just don't get in any other game.
You have to say ; They have eggs to highlight this fucking Orbital Strike in this trailer , which is absolutly OP and higby.
Wasn't sure if the base at 1:41 was our base we SKL made during the most recent outfit war. Then again all VS look the same in spandex and share strats for OW's.
No other game puts you in real large scale battles like this which have an effect on the whole game session. Battlefield with 64 v 64 matches? Those are rookie numbers

Despite all the drama and issues, there is NOTHING like the Planetside 2 gameplay. Especially with shitty monetization system companies are forcing down on us.
I miss this game when it was in its Prime. Shame they dedicated their money on Planetside Arena and not completely on Planetside 2

Though I don't play this game, I'm glad it's dev's still care for its fanbase to make a new update nowadays.
My men, when i take a look at it, all i can say is when the next gen Planetside ( Planetside 3 ) comes out, it will probably kill the Battlefield and Battlefront franchises. I can't stop imagining a planetside with crazy futuristic explosions and sounds effect ( a bit like Battlefront ) in breath taking environments. It would be the ultimate immersion, in term of massive scale FPS war game. They already have the gameplay ( that they keep improoving ) and the character progression system.
