I bought a 2007 Honda CR-V today (only 90k miles BTW!) and it literally looks almost new inside EXCEPT the H emblem on the steering wheel, so thank you!
Looks good to me, just got a 08 element and its overall what i want, but just going through the little things like this that need some extra love, like replacing the broken seat straps to hold it up with some strong ones from Home Depot, had to glue some velcro to the head liner because the driver visor won't stay up, and now this will get me steering wheel emblem back to tolerable. I was just going to try a silver paint marker but that looks MUCH closer to the OEM finish!
I haven't tried it. In my case, i would want to completely replace or refinish if i was going to clear it. The pen works amazing as a quick fix and it will last a long time but it's not that perfect smooth finish i would want before clear coating.
I wish I had seen this before I tried pulling off the emblem to replace it…it’s still stuck lol Also, swap the steering wheel from the RSX and get an EP3 air bag 😬
@@artimotiv from what I researched so far, a USDM EP3 air bag will be a direct fit on an RSX steering wheel. Of course if you have an USDM EP3 steering wheel, just direct bolt on to Element. I’m just not sure of the cruise control yet. Still researching
I used a chrome paint marker on my Element steering wheel emblem about 5 years ago and it still looks good.

Or hear me out.... just use chrome vinyl. And use an exacto knife to trim after applying. 😉.
