I got the tail dity from eBay for $54 with LED turn signals included. It’s good quality but no instructions. This video helped me successfully install it. From the harness end, red is right, light blue is left and yellow is the plate light. The three darker blue are ground and all go together. There is a rather large gap in the hole the wires pass through so I’m gonna make a little grommet out of some rubber foam I have.
The video was very helpful thanks Albe. A couple of notes for those out there that aren't as mechanically inclined as some others. 1. Make sure you have a good pair of wire strippers and a good quality crimping tool for the butt connectors. 2. You can cut about 6" off of the stock wiring harness as long as you don't plan on ever returning to the stock plate holder, makes it much easier to fit all the wires back under the tail section 3. As someone else said already if you wire it just as the instructions from Evotech provides all the lights work as supposed to.
Cutting the wiring harness is especially useful if you have the factory Tuono as there is almost no room in the seat hump to fit the excess cable. Loads more room under the seat of the RR.
With regards to the wiring I'm sure the instructions are correct (all light blues are negative or ground) but I'm sure it wouldn't matter anyway with the indicators as they seem to be insulated from the chassis. The licence plate light however, with it being LED should be wired correctly. I wired my bike according to the instructions and it works perfect.
I just finished installing my tail tidy and I wanted to say thank you Albe for your video! You helped me when I stumbled and did a great job in the end. Thank you brother and ride safe!
I love your Tuono videos! I’m brand new to the 1100...being delivered within a week or so to my front freakin door!!! SO EXCITED!!!! I had to get your shirt too bro... very nice lookin tee 👍🏽
I used the factory harness, of course I used the new lic plate lamp and spliced /solder those 2 wires . alot cleaner than the six buttconnectors they proposed
Very good videos!!! Good job. Please keep doing all this regarding Aprilia. When you gonna replace that ugly mirrors to something good as risoma or something????
Great video Do you think this tail-tidy will work on my 2015 Caponord? the LED turn signals should work no matter what, right?! Thanks again for your video. Much appreciated!
@@AlbesADV Awesome. Thank you Sir! I ordered both the turn LED's and the tail-tidy. If the tail will work on my bike, as it did on your Tuono, then ill let you know. (it looks like the mounting screws are equally spaced. Best Jan
Diciamo che non si sente che sei italiano, proprio no ahahahaha 😂 comunque bel video, stavo proprio cercando un porta targa per la mia tuono e questo che hai recensito mi garba parecchio! Grazie mille 😀
Between this and the k&n air filter video, I only need to get instructions for keeping the low beam on when high beam is engaged…. How these aren’t on is insanity. You literally cannot see to turn the high beam is so narrow.

Excellent video. I'm ordering one of these for my '19 Tuono Factory today and I'll be watching this again during the install. New subscriber as well.

You sir, did a good job with your instruction.

No problem Nick
Great video. I found that removing the oem tail fender before the battery was a bad idea... i hope no fuses are blown.. not enough time tonight...
Sorry to hear, good luck tomorrow 👍
Fantastic upgrade !
Thanks to you, was an easy installation! Legend 👍

Great video

Hi there, I’m not sure about the trail tidy, but the turn signal will definitely work 👍

È si, il mio accento non si sente proprio, 😂😂😂.
Il porta targa è solido. 👍
Will this work on 2020 tuono aswell ?. Thanks very much . great video 😉
Hi Dylan, it should
@@AlbesADV thanks very much 👍.
Finally (; nice vid!
How is it going with the RSV4 fairings?
Next is going to be the turn signals, then.....
Albe's Adv nice, tell us all the details then! (:
I’m waiting for an answer from a few suppliers, we will see.
Dear friend, do you have any problem with your tuono,
No, so far it's been great
Albe's Adv thank you for quick reply, how many miles did you ride your babe?
Not many, I think almost 3000 so far, I have to divide my attention between the 3 bikes on my time off work or when I’m not working on them.
I understand, thank you soo much
The Moto Dynamic tail tidy is plug and play and is a clean install...why would you go through all that unnecessary splicing?
Because I’m mentally ill 😁
Albe's Adv ...LOL pazzo!!
Che ci posso fare... 🤣
Thanks Bello
