- I finally got a chance to try out my improved combat shelter tent and modular sleep system in 43 degree weather.

The tent is small because it's meant for sleeping only. You should have a tarp for somewhere to hang out in rain
I bought both of those back in November but haven't had them out yet. It was good to watch you set them up and use them

The Litefighter tent is probably the best military tent. I have the 1 person and 2 person. They are both nice tents to setup and take down. You can also get a cold weather kit for them. I also have the Military sleep system and agree that it is pretty nice and will keep you warm. It is very bulky. I have several peices of camping gear to do all types of camping. It seems like maybe you brought more stuff than what you needed or may want to look at alternatives. I think we all get crazy when we pack the car for a camping trip.
Good to know about the Litefighter, and for my next car camping trip, I'm going to try to take only what I can fit in a 60L bag
That tent looks harder to rig than my pup tent in the Army.
Yeah the rain fly is the hardest part, but once figured out, it should go easier
I wonder can you cook in the rear vestibule
It's seems possible but it's a really small space and very low height, I would be afraid to melt the material from the stove
I want one where you buy it from was it new or used
The tent appears to be new, the modular sleep system was used but washed and very clean, in great shape
