Jeep Cherokee goes from 4.5" lift to 6.5" lift for $80!!

We realized Ripcord Jr needed a little more clearance for the 15.5 super swampers so we bought some parts to add 2 more inches lift!

You got it done. But for future when you want to remove the spring, just unbolt the shock and it’ll allow the axle to drop enough. That way you don’t have to worry about those sketchy spring compressors.

For your rear lift, It would have been better to do shackle relocation brackets, that would give you the extra 2-2.5" lift in the back you are looking for. If you have access to a welder, they are easy to make, many videos here on TH-cam. You can also see the video on my channel, It includes a way to get more clearance on lower shock mounts. after the extra lift did you run an sye kit, or t case drop looking to do the same thing but im going from 3.5 to 5.5 lift

So ripcord has a SYE in it and we did the same to lock jaw which doesnt have a SYE, both are fine, lockjaw also does not have t case drop pucks either, ripcord i am unsure on if it has t case drop pucks

It drives good. We don’t drive it on the road though other than short trips from trail to trail.

It wasn’t much of a kit lol the jeep already had a 4.5” lift so we added drop shackles and spring spacers.
