Besides the LFA, I truly believe the LC500 is the pinnacle for pinnacle. If you’ve ever sat in one and test drove it, you’d know what I mean. It is a bit slow compared to the competition, but 0-60’s and 1/4 miles is not what the LC is for. It’s a monster of a GT car - one of those that you crush hundreds of miles in WHILE in comfort. I want one SO bad.
I’ve drove it was not impressed at all I was way more excited and impressed with the 2024 mustangs gt and dark horse and gt’s but the Lexus is a good buy for someone
What really bothers me is how nearly everyone who's actually driven this car absolutely talks about how incredible it is, yet thousands of internet idiots will write it off because they don't want to admit how good it is. It makes cars like the Mercedes SL53 obsolete, which is arguably an inferior car in every aspect yet costs $65k more. People are going to regret not buying this car soon
@@Somethingsomethinglol 2017 - 2018 or maybe even later models have sealing issues, google lc500 wind noise/whistling noise / rubber seal issues, not fixable under warranty, rubber replacement is like 1-2k, so far i've driven ~80k miles, new gearbox (warranty), other issues, hopefully can post review next month
8:02 I actually really like the chrome! It depends on the car’s color, I think chrome looks great on a red LC. The chrome on a red LC is GORGEOUS. They offer a darker smoked chrome that I think works on lighter colors like silver and white.
I have a 2018 I got recently, traded in my 2020 supra for it, I love every bit of it... I dont even mind the old infotainment because it looks more integrated, but the tech in this new one is great.

I was just over it because I'm not into the modding scene as much and has a much younger crowd to it, this isn't a big deal it's just not for me. Decided to get an LC because I really like cara that you don't see often... Makes it that much cooler. Also it's just super comfortable, very well built, a piece of art, just not that fast (not slow either). If you really want speed get the supra or C8.. if you want an unreal experience in a car, where you don't need speed, the LC is for you.

My favourite colour is blue, but I never really liked the Blue Mica of this car. It is starting to grow on me now and I find it beautiful. The white interior is a great colour contrast with the blue. It is a stunning car. 🔥🔥🔥
I had a '21 in the Nightfall Blue Mica, now I have a '24 in the Ultrasonic Blue. It is worlds better. The dark blue was amazing in perfect light and too dark in all other light. The new blue is amazing in most light. I took photos of my two cars about 20 seconds apart in the same light, the difference is huge. If you haven't seen one yet, google for "lc500 ultrasonic blue". I have a 2022 black caviar with black interior with dynamic pac . My personal opinion is I don’t like the touch pad as it gets finger prints all over and looks like it was just stuck there ? The original glass across the whole dash is classy
Here’s the deal, this car is fun beautiful relatively affordable, when comparing it to its competitors. But to me the best attribute with this car is the cost of ownership. It is a “fraction” compared to its competitors. Dependability is the hallmark of the Lexus brand, and this car is no exception. Smart money purchase in my opinion. Unless you’re a fan of extravagant initial cost, maintenance, and repairs. 😂
I loved buying my Lexus... knowing that there'll never be any issues with it and it never had any issues at all. They asked me about extra warranty when i bought it, I said If you're telling me that this car needs extra warranty, then I'll stand up and walk away from this deal right now. I strictly refused the warranty and also told them that I do not want absolutely anything else that You're trying to sell me. Lets just sign the paper and call it a day. That's the only thing I can't stand with dealerships. One day I'll just walk out because of being asked so much and tell them, if you want my business after this, then knock another $1000 off the price before I buy one at another dealership because I will most definitely head to another one. Anyway... Lexus is Great!
I'm one hundred percent with you right there, buddy. I actually questioned myself, thinking that maybe I should have bought the tire & wheel package. But in the end, I didn't buy any packages. This will be my 10th Lexus that I purchased over the years and I have never bought any of their packages. They wanted an additional 16K for 3 years of extended warranty. Then the finance person got mad when I turned it down. My salesman also said that if I get any package, make sure I get the tire & wheel package. I ended up getting nothing! LC 500 baby! (Autobots roll out!)
The LC500 is not a sport car. It is a GT but overall it is a very elegant lady. And this is why i think chrome has it's place on this car. Even the blackish upper doors should be chromed.
I have personal interest in this car, it’s good to compare notes. This is kinda a replay of 10 other guys doing the same marketing info. It’s an interesting GT car, drive it as one & tell us about it.

Just bought a 2022 LC 500 convertible inspiration edition solely because of the color combo--Iridium silver with rose interior and rose cloth top. Hate, hate, hate the electronics and the touchpad. If these colors were available in the updated 2024, would definitely have bought it as I held off just because of the ridiculous user interface and impossible algorithms you have to perform just to do simple things (heated seats require going into a buried multistep process) instead of just a button. They could do better but this has always been Toyota's Achilles heel. Great mechanicals, 8 years behind on electronics. Come on guys! Love everything else about this car. Traded in a 20 year old (original owner) SC430 because I they finally came out with a convertible worth the trade. Glad I did it. When the better colors come around in the future, maybe time to trade again.

Can't wait to swap my RCF for one of these in the coming months. Same engine but an entirely different experience. The LC's comfort is near flawless and even more so when you replace the stock runflat tires. I've driven the BMW M850i and LC. The M850i is a Turbo AWD V8 that's heavier and a bit quicker. Nonetheless, for a NA V8 the LC has the perfect balance of performance and luxury at a decent price point.

The only issue I have with the LC500 is that I just can't decide which color way I'll get. This car looks good in just about all options.
