I recommend you to visit Basho Meadows in Skardu, it is one of most beautiful places in North of Pakistan. It is 2 to 3 hours away from skardu.

Hey Jack, loving your Pak dairies! If you are still in Skardu and fancy a hike do consider Masrur Rock hike near Hussainabd Skardu. Trust me the 5hr asventure up and down the hill is worth every second when you reach the top view some 3500m I think!!!!
