Great video! Being a long time Android user, I recently made the decision to switch to Apple, and got the iPhone XR to save money, but did not realize there would be such a learning curve. Normally I would ask questions of my co-workers who use iPhones, but we are in lockdown, and I bought it online, so this video is enormously helpful! Thank you!
My dad recently got an iPhone 10 so I have been looking for tutorial videos, the kind that explain how to use the phone in a clear way that anyone from a novice to a tech minded user can follow and this strikes a great balance of those 2 sides. It does a good job of conveying the concepts and showing examples and it will be a great help in getting some of the smaller details of his phone setup for use. I definitely agree with your advice to just go in and play around with the options, in 99% of the menus you will not permanently damage your setup (and those 1% cases warn you very well) it can be intimidating at first but as you get more comfortable it can be fun to just poke around in the menus. Then if you hit a roadblock or need help with a settings you have videos like this one.

Yes, for some, the material may be basic, but given how it's organized into chapters, you can easily jump to sections that are perhaps more relevant to you... or just watch it end-to-end like me. This was a nice video. I’ve had all of the iPhones starting at the 2g. I skipped the 5 and 5c. I have a X now, it does have a slight learning curve. This video did help me with the one thing that I wasn’t sure about and that was how to clear my apps. Now I know. Thanks!
