I can tell you are really expert with Thai grammar of sound. Wooooow, I bet you know this kind of thing more than half of Thai people in the country for real 5555+, and you sound so good when you speak Thai. For those who have watched this video, as a Thai person I can say David is a great Thai teacher. He knows everything about Thai sounds correctly, and his pronunciation hits the right tones and is really clear and. I'm so impressed.
dave voetberg you are a very good teacher. I wish it was easier to find your lessons. I have to dig out the gold burried in your channel. I'm not being picky though. I appreciate the time you took to make these.
I am just practicing my way through the tone rules and one thing I noticed in your videos is whenever you do the long mid tone, your voice is slightly dropping in the end. I always try very hard to keep the mid tone until the very end because I thought that that’s important and now I‘m a bit confused 🙈 When having real life conversations, is it more common to drop down a little at the end of a mid tone syllable? Cause it would definitely make things a lot easier because it feels more natural
how to know if a consonant belongs to previous syllable (and makes a stop or is a sonorant) OR is it an initial consonant of the next syllable? btw thank you for your videos!
