    Good points Marty. I think overall Criss does a good job innovating to make our wheels more fun

    Wheel actually looks finished with all of that installed, better than the prototype stock appearance, and I'm sure much more functional.

    Looks great.
    Hoping you get a chance to do a long review of V13.

    The front bumper looks like Judge Dredd helmet 😁. All those pieces seems to be high quality. And it's beautiful

    Wheel looks awesome. I put the equivalent CP setup on my Master and I am really impressed with the the fit, functionality and look. Your color choice looks way better than my black configuration. 🔥🔥

    My thoughts exactly! Excellent video, Marty! I am still riding my Master Pro with stock pads. For the money Clark charges, I could get a covered 3D printer better then the current crap I run, and print my own. So I ordered Flying Bear's Reborn 2 🤪 (waiting for it to come).

      It is expensive. I'm sure you would agree that these weren't designed by themselves :-) But yeah, if you have the skills AND time, building your own is a viable approach. Good luck.

    Buddy had these for the master, someone wrecked it and almost every part got destroyed. Shock was damaged and bent, two battery cases cracked with expose batteries, the frame that holds the batteries in, the suspension shock was bent.
    I feel like these won’t protect the wheel in a crash and bumpers like the grizzla or some metal bumpers would work better. Keeping the impact zones away from the wheel.

    • @ElectricUnicycles
      @ElectricUnicycles  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I use the bumpers, etc. to protect the wheel against mild hits or when it falls over. They won't protect a wheel in a violent crash. I have the Grizzla's on my Master and like those too. However, in the Apple Valley Races a month ago I personally witnessed a Master with the Grizzla system get destroyed in a crash.
      Nothing will protect a car or motorcycle in a bad crash either :-)

    I’m glad I’m not the only one who feels the same about Clark not applying the entire aluminum panel. I ordered the black bumper system for my Master Pro and I’m waiting for it now however as I look at your video I’m now curious on whether or not independent rear brake pads such as GRIZZLA will fit high on the aluminum panel. The bumper seems like it may get in the way. Thoughts?

    • @ElectricUnicycles
      @ElectricUnicycles  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I don't think the bumpers would get in the way of any pads but it's hard to say with any certainty considering the variables involved.

    Black Sharpie on the Aluminum might help camouflage the plates.

    Gotta admit, it looks freakin gorgeous & says premium! Not sure where I heard it but it goes something like...clothes make the man & accessories, the gentleman. I'd say thats the case for the clark pads. Too rich for my blood tho as I'd likely print my own. Dont have the MasPro (nor even contemplating it cos got no need) but I do have a T4 & a new 3d printer on the way. Gonna be fun dressing her up 😁. Nice fairing bud

    • @ElectricUnicycles
      @ElectricUnicycles  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Eventually I'll get a 3D printer. This is a non-trivial amount of time involved in designed prints like the Clark system, and I seem to have less time now 🙂 Thanks for the compliment Scott 👍

    For $500 wood screws is not acceptable. Should be pressed brass inserts and machine screws or something more substantial.

    • @ElectricUnicycles
      @ElectricUnicycles  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The screws are a common approach but I agree that ideally there would be embedded nuts that the screws would go into.

    Just received my MP v2, and I’m concerned about updating the firmware, I don’t want to brick the machine. Is it worth the risk?

    • @ElectricUnicycles
      @ElectricUnicycles  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You can't brick Begode wheels. There's a procedure for reloading the firmware even if you have a failure. So no worries about updating the firmware.

    I guess I may be the only one who thinks these systems destroy the look of the wheel. Functionality wise I get it. I just don't think covering something in 3d printed parts looks so great. That being said I like Clark pads and their products.

    • @jamesChisena
      @jamesChisena 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@EUCvibes It's only my opinion, but what I meant is I don't like the way any of these full systems look. Including the grizzla and the Russian ones. If you don't think the wheel is appealing to begin with it, we'll then it doesn't matter either way!
