At present time we want to think we are unicorns, but we’re not. All we really are is dust in the wind. I close my eyes for a moment and the moment is gone. Singers in the 80s were trying to send us a message into the future. Listen to so many songs of the 80s and they lay out the map for us to follow. Well written music will never become unpopular. That’s why we’re listening to music that is 40+ years old and discovering what the singers were trying to tell us. Ponder the words that were sung from the 70s to the 80s and early 90s. The roadmap was there, we just have to be able to decipher what was being said to us.
You are so wise. We are just dust in the wind; our lives are fleeting, and then we leave. Live life as fully as you can. Enjoy the ride. Make memories that you will smile and laugh at because, in the end, it's what makes you happy.
Hey there, I just want to say how proud I am of you for choosing to embrace life again-it's a brave and beautiful step. Listening to Dust in the Wind, one lyric really stands out: 'All we are is dust in the wind.' It's a gentle reminder that life is fleeting, but that's what makes every moment precious. You have the power to create meaning, no matter how small or simple it may feel. Your journey, your presence, and your resilience are more significant than you know. Keep shining-you're not alone.😊
Wow! Thank you so much for your kind words, thank you so much I really do appreciate you. And thank you for the arm advice, I am learning to embrace that while life may be like dust in the wind, it is ok to be present and make it worth the while . Thank you so much 😭🤍🫂
@@Nostalgicsensation I am new to your channel, but I am truly loving your reactions, thank you for your fresh and truly innocent reactions. I too went thru a time when I thought life had no meaning, I could not relate to God, the christian God, however friend took me to place where I found meaning again. I learned that our life is the memories we make and the memories we share, as long as our memories and our stories are told, we never truly die.
It always makes me laugh when people say "Oh this sounds like so and so from 3 years ago"....No this doesn't sound like Johnny come lately....Johnny come lately tries hard to sound like this. What always amazed me with this song, is how they did so much with such a simple melody and such simple basic musical instruments, yet it's heartfelt impact is paranormal. A true classic rock epic.
To answer your question...yes it does matter 100% how you behave and treat others while here. I believe this is a sifting and sorting place...where you have the free will to choose between right and wrong, good and bad, and that will dictate your next evolutionary step up or down, because as we all know by now, ENERGY cannot be destroyed, it can only change form...ice to water to steam but it's all water, and you are energy. Positive or negative ? You get to decide.
Our lives are on loan to us from God. We are his eternal children but this world will pass away. No. We do matter. ALL we do matters but you have to realize that hoarding things like material objects will not buy you another moment of life. All you are, all you’ve learned, all you’ve given and received, you take all that with you.
The important thing is we are eternal beings and our life does matter. And we will give an account of our lives we live here! Love is everything!

I was lucky enough to see them in concert twice back in the late 70’s! They put on a really good show both times

A great classic from the mid 1970s beautiful and power song of how fleeing the current life in this imperfect life in the current world.
One of my all time favorite songs😅
I thoroughly enjoyed how the song washed over me. 🥹🤍
