I miss Kevin’s voice of reason in the background lol As a Texan… Whataburger has been slacking. We have a in and out in Houston and I like it way better. I think whataburger was sold years back and after that it’s hasn’t been the same.

eBay calculated shipping offering them the discount works fine if you have the correct weight and dimensions it has yet to be wrong unless I mess up.
I think the GoPro adds 25 lb to everybody lol. So I use my Sony when I'm going to be on camera

This episode... Incident?... episode? wasn't terrible. If I had to offer my advice, (and I do, I literally can't help myself), I'd dirty up the audio a tad bit. The audio is just a little too perfect and it comes off as slightly fake, or staged. More of an "I didn't really try" sound comes across as more authentic.

The diesel exhaust.. All modern diesel vehicles require a DPF system (filter) by law... Older trucks are grandfathered and do not require the filter... That exhaust smell literally makes me SICK!!
I believe that eBay throttles your views so that you don't grow too fast. I'm full time and I definitely have a cap on how much I can make in a week. I have 1250 items in my store and no matter how much I list in a week, or how much monetary value those items have, or how good the sell through rates are, my weekly payouts are very consistent-within $100 of each payout every week. That is a weird coincidence if this is all just in my head. If I good sales during the week, my weekend are slow, and if my week is slow, my weekend is great. How can I sell 8 items in the morning of a day, and then barely get any page views the rest of the day? I mean the good thing is, at least I can be fairly confident of what my weekly payouts will be.
I have a dedicated shrine to the ebay algorithm that I sacrifice a stray cat to every seventh Thursday...seems to have really helped my sales.

1- I am violently opposed to "free" shipping. It's not free because you have to inflate your sales price to include shipping; if they return the item you can't exclude original shipping; we cannot change the mindset if we always bow to the crowd.
2- 1:37 ... Hilarious! I think Tina was questioning her life choices when you got home and brought in that Ikea bag; lesson learned is just stop and pee on the side of the road! 😂😂😂
Those who are stuck in the free shipping moto usually do free returns too and call the loss " cost of doing business " which is dumb. People want to that top rated " plus" like it means something. They are sheep
Dave, I get your point about free shipping but you’re missing 1 part…obviously on highly expensive & profitable it doesn’t matter, but if you just guess a number and add that to the price for say a $40 item, the item can vary drastically based on the buyers location. Even if you exclude Alaska/Hawaii/PR, if it goes across the country it could go from $12 to $25 for shipping, and if you don’t exclude those places you could be paying the customer to take your item

I admire Kevin for being so very decent and yet putting up with you guys. Of course, he does leave at times when the language exceeds PG Kevin style. But, I think he is secretly howling with laughter, which he can't do on air without giving implicit approval to it.

Lowest to highest doesn’t always work I was looking for an item that I saw and searched that way and it didn’t even show up. eBay’s TOS also says they will adjust the search results regardless of the buyers search settings 🤷🏻♂️

Dave - I hate Lego LOL. But, we buy storage units, usually geared towards media/geeky stuff so we seem to find more of them than you would think. We just whatnot that sh*t. I sell the minifigs starting at $2, weird stuff starting at $2 and then bag everything else and start the gallon bags at $2. We do well with those sales and we aren't even TH-cam famous. :P We do pre-list the items so we get pre-bids and the buyers just show up. I'm sure we could do better on eBay but we are plenty happy with the results and I know you'd pull a tidy/easy profit based on your buy costs just tossing them up that way.

Hairy Tornado was sent a unit that he took to the flea market to test items. This was a small thing about the size of a battery charger, and it was a sponsored item. Hairy went on and on about how great it was and then we never saw it again. lol.

34 minutes in and asked to say my least favorite thing about Kevin, I think he comes across as a little out of touch with us regular folks who have to keep our supplies in boxes while he has an entire hut. Some folks can't even rub two Enemans together, much less afford fancy swingers conventions in Vegas.

Carie, I did a Dave and bought a large bin of over 2600 basketball cards from the 90's (I didn't know anything about them). They are in books and in good shape. I google lensed at least 50 of them and none show a value over $5. Most were $1 or $2. Are you interested? LOL.
