I just started reselling a couple of months ago. Recently I started watching TH-camrs on reselling. I learned Levi’s that have the xx on them are vintage! Those are the ones to look for and grab! When I found my first pair I was pumped.

I've been reselling for 20 years and am still trying to learn more to BOLO. Having teenage daughters showed me the value of jeans and women's shoes. As helpful as this video is, I would find it helpful to see brands of jeans to avoid as a reseller. Yes! I remember and owned a pair of Guess jeans with the triangle. Those and Girbaud were 2 jeans brands that I had to have as a teenager.

I almost got into a fight a few weeks ago in a Goodwill. I was looking at the men’s shirts. Some dude came over like 1 foot from me and started looking through the exact section I was looking for. Even moved my cart out of the way. Last straw was he pushed my cart out of the way and it bumped into me. Acted like I wasn’t even there. I lost my mind on him. I had to walk away. People are so rude in Goodwill

Love this video ! 6$ jeans is a blessing , my area we get those in and they are marked in the 30s pending brand . Average price is usually 12$ to 15$ . Not sure how more why goodwills are so different with prices .
Thank you so much! Yes the prices vary so much. Goodwill most likely won't catch all the good brands so it's about having the knowledge & out smarting them. We try to constantly learn new brands😀
That is so frustrating when Goodwill marks up! Cassie and I have also figured out that if you occasionally travel a little outside of your area and hit Goodwills or thrift stores that are off the beaten path, you may find good brands at lower prices. It may be worth the extra gas if you occasionally find a honey hole of lower priced BOLO brands.

Pretty much any brand jean that you can buy at cavenders boot city will fetch you a great sell through rate.

I’m sourcing in coastal New England where I live - tons of rich communities with thrifting everywhere - and my boyfriend is sourcing in Asheville nc and South Carolina near NC … we are hoping to grab some great finds and flip from our two home bases (we visit back and forth, and hope to get a little rundown place to fix up in the mountains of nc eventually) but I’m trying to utilize my coastal location to our benefit and he has better prices

This is a great video ! LEvi's always throw me, I never know if they're mens' or womens'- any tips?

I do have a few tips to tell the difference… put your hand in the front pockets and if they’re a shallow pocket it’s probably women’s and if it’s a deeper pocket it’s probably men’s, also if the front zipper tab is shorter it’s probably women’s and if it’s longer it’s probably men’s. Hope this helps.
The older Levi's also have a big "E" on the tag.

Yes you can get 70 minimum for true religion jeans even used I found a pair thrifting and heard of them before sold same day for 45 bucks (didn’t check similar listings) but they go for a lot on Poshmark Ik

I am an Aquarius and my husband is a Cancer. I am the one who does the reselling (he does help me some but he has a full time job in healthcare) and every time I watch one of y'all's videos I'm like oh he is definitely the Aquarius "me" type" and she has to be the Cancer "my hubs" type just based on his personality. I find a lot of BKE but very few where the waist is true to the number on the label> Most of the time the waist is 3-4 inches larger than it should be. It's also my experience when wearing them they quickly require a belt. So I almost never pick them up. Do you pick them up even if the waist is bigger than what's on the label?
Thank you for your comment. Absolutely, we always pick them up whether sizing is off or they’re in rough condition. We make sure to take lots of pictures with clear measurements and also give detailed explanations in the description of the item. We go overboard sometimes to make sure the buyer is fully aware. And they sell so fast for us! BKE and Ariat are hands down our best selling jeans! Hope this helps.

Our general rule of thumb with all men’s clothing items is to try to avoid small sizes and target plus sizes. Having said that, we have found that with jeans, size doesn’t matter for us as much and if the sell thru rate is good for a brand then it will be good no matter the size. May I ask if you are washing jeans that you find at Goodwills if they don’t have any obvious stains?
We only wash them if they have stains. If they're Ariat FR work jeans & they have stains, we don't wash those because they still sell well with stains.
Nice pick up with True Religion and Rock Revival. Just word of caution for my fellow resellers, beware with these 2 specific brands as they are highly counterfeited. Due your due diligence and learn how to spot fakes and these jeans are good money makers.

We are new to reselling so we're still learning. Usually if an item is fake, it will have a white generic tag on the inside. A real pair will have the Levi's style number on the tag & also usually has the Levi's emblem on the inside pocket.
Levi’s are not heavily faked at all. I might of found one pair of fake Levi’s the whole time I’ve been reselling. Retail is less than $100 on average so most people aren’t buying counterfeit Levi’s
