this is great insight for a lot of people im sure, who worked 9-5s but their art was fit in during their off-hours.. now theyre schedule is wide open and theyre put in a rare or unexpected chance to use their entire day to build a business around or monetize their passion so they’re facing these challenges for the first time. i’ve been living abroad and ultimately working remote (teaching, english coaching, voice-over work, whatever i can get my hands on) and working on every aspect of my music and brand all-day, too. motivation, organization, a system/process, and a schedule are paramount! also, like you said, you cannot overthink everything, that becomes a habit and steals seconds/minutes and eventually hours from you as all of those hesitances accumulate. you have to make final decisions and act on your thoughts in order to both be efficient and ultimately get results. dope work Ryan, lots of respect. AAAAND i love how you focus on the subject of the video (you in this case) and have a smooth & soft blur for the setting. so clean! do you have a tutorial on this?
I absolutely agree with this. I started doing youtube videos for fun and to enhance my creativity, but even if I'm not doing this full time and having two jobs, it seems so freaking crazy to find some time to get some shit done. I'm such a perfectionist when it comes to my own work and overthink everything about it and I'm really happy that my friends keep kicking my ass and tell me to just upload that stuff. And my answer to your question: I try to focus on a good balance between creating stuff, increasing or keeping my quality and staying motivated. I hope someday I'll be able to work as a full time creator, so I can do what I love. I know it's kinda harder work to be your own boss, but damn...I love creating videos and photos.

The things that I hate is not having enough time, (I work 8-4 Mon - Fri, Dealership), Not having any kind of support from my family (My videos are Super weak) I refuse to give up. My own family keeps putting me down :( While sitting with my family my mind is in a blank state because all I'm thinking about is what should I film, How can I afford a gimbal and a better camera. I just can't wait to go full time on this platform to show my family that hard work pays.. Sometime I even sit on my desk and cry (No shame in my game) because I can't go out to film. So yeah dude keep up the good work..
Overthinking and dances are the biggest things for me also some of the other things don't apply to me because I don't have any kids, a girlfriend nor do I play video games so it's been a breeze for me I'm one of the luck ones as always great video full of useful information

I want to be a full time content creator but my strong suit is interviews and I’m not sure how to monetize that as yet considering I live in a very small country. I have been buying gear and doing some testing so far. Let’s see how it goes.
Really appreciated this video and you just being honest. I feel a lot of the things you mentioned and it even gets me in trouble with the girlfriend. It's hard having a family and doing this stuff
