- This is Part 9 of my trip continuing the journey, having spent 2 nights camping in Oslo now heading towards Bergen via Langfossen encountering frozen lakes at 1000m - beautiful
The whole journey took me through the Netherlands, Germany, Denmark, Sweden and into Norway right the way up to Nordkapp, the furthest point you can travel by motorcycle or car in mainland Europe and then back through Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Germany, Belgium and France over a 7 week period late May - mid July 2023
I am back in the UK now, but please do add your comments and I'll get back to you.
Hoping you can "Like" the video, as this does help the channel.
All my best wishes, thanks again for watching

Lovely road and route
Nick
at 2:40 you passed the sign saying "lierskogen 1000 meters". thats where i live hahha. Cool vid
What a place to live!!!!!
Nick
Some great roads and some dramatic scenery on this leg of the trip - I've a feeling there's going to be a whole lot more where that came from! As well as being able to share your adventures with us, these video records will provide you with many positive memories for years to come. Thank you.
Many thanks, and yes even the editing process enables me to relive and refresh the ride and I'll be able to revisit these snippets in the future
Nick
Stunning views, love the rivers and lakes, and those roads are impeccable. Been on my bucket list for about 15 years.
Enjoy getting it off your bucket list!!!

Such a beautiful scenery in Norway ❤
Absolutely!
Nick
What a contrast of scenery from morning to evening. Certainly some beautiful countryside. The Norwegians are definitely good at building tunnels. Looking forward to next Saturday’s adventure. Cheers, Jim
Hi Jim, many thanks and I wish we could use there expertise in the UK, some of the tunnels are beautiful in their own peculiar way
Nick
Wow! Getting into some serious scenery now. Snowy bits more to do with altitude than latitude I presume. Great location for that last camp site. Thanks for sharing.
Many thanks , yes scenery improving all the time and yes altitude
Nick
Great video mate, safe travels👍🏽
Many thanks,
Nick
I love the series and what first got me interested was i have just bought a cb500x as my first bike since passing my test last year and i was wondering how capable it is. It looks more than capable from looking at your clips and i hope to tour myself once ive built my confidence up in the UK abit. Thanks for sharing your trip.
Congrats on passing the test and on buying the CB500X, many thanks for the comment and kind words. Plenty of places to explore in the UK, just preferable of the weather is kind to you.
Nick
That Garmin you use gives far more info than my Garmin 5 on my GS
Oooh, nice to know!
Nick
Another superb episode Nick. Regards, Michael
Many thanks Michael, the actual ride was one to remember
Nick
What a contrast in the weather , thoroughly enjoying your travels 👍
Many thanks, glad you're enjoying them
Nick
This would be my dream trip!
If you get the chance... go for it!
Nick
Nice relaxing ride……so much excitement🤣 !
Many thanks, I loved the ride
Nick
Came by your side by accident 😂 and now I seen your Norway trip so far 👍 fun to see your own country from others perspective 👍 keep up the good work 🎉 have a question. Do you run the sound by a external mic to the GoPro. Really good sound quality. Frode
Many thanks for the comment and question. I loved the trip, ref the mic, yes I use a Purple Panda mic connected by wire to the GoPro with the mic placed in the helmet as protected as possible
Nick
Thanks for taking us along on this spectacular trip! Question about that extended windshield you have. It looks like you have the arms to it set perpendicular to the windshield. That would put the bottom of the extension quite a bit below the top of the windshield. Is that correct? I just got mine and have it set quite a bit higher. Haven't played with the settings much yet. Thanks Nick!
Many thanks for the comment and question. Yes, the windshield is quite adjustable, I saw one set similar to where mine is before I fitted it so used that as a guide. It has worked well for me at least. Hope you find the right position for you

Beautiful ride. I stopped in exactly the same spot on my own ride this summer, just after the tunnel and before Haukeli. Took loads of pictures. I went towards Røldal and Sauda rather than Bergen though, a spectacular route that I hope you can try someday. Your weather was better than mine. Safe riding west and north.
Howdy Phil, the scenery can't really be captured with my techniques, but you'll know from personal experience how beautiful it is. The smell of the chilled air will never be possible with a GoPro.
Nick
Hi May I know what exactly the model of your Garmin. Thanks. Ride safe Cheers.
Sure, it is a Garmin Zumo XT, 18 months old now so it might not be the latest model
Nick
What time of year would you recommend to visit Norway on motorcycle?
I can only comment on my trip as I don't really know about the rest of the year. I went in June, the weather was fantastic and the long days wonderful. Maybe somebody on my channel can help, or Sven Olson via his channel.
Nick
Love series, but frustrates the hell out of me when you whisper/mumble! Like an ASMR video!
Me too !!!! Sorry about that
Nick
I like it Nick ! Keep it up please :) I do often fall asleep if I'm watching late or having woken up in the night 👍😔 but I go back and catch up from where I drifted off so it's win win ! I enjoy your channel, thank you.
