AU's Dream Season and Dream QB! What a wonderfully exciting season it was for college football! Every team wanted to stop Cam Newton It's amazing how one great player can effect an entire league.
There where bad officials at that game, I remember the entire stadium booing them many times. However this is one of the best atmospheres I have ever watched a game in.
Arkansas gave auburn all they could handle. To bad the refs gave auburn 14 points and killed our momentum. Fanon didnt cross the goal line be4 he fumbled and broderic green was down be4 he had the ball stripped out.
i live in arkansas and donate to the u of a, but honestly it was an amazing game between two great teams, there is no need for UoA fans to talk about botched calls, we're better than that.
@@Yo-bd6cx looking at it..... 😂 i did. I don't remember ever watching this vid before since we lost but I guess I did. Don't know how I fucked that up.

Just an interm coach for this year. I doubt he stays after this year. The players didnt want a new coach and new system so they brough JLS back just for this year. He's just a motivater and will use his experience and knowledge to help out. The assistant coaches will be the main 1's calling the shots. Arkansas has a talented team this year its just a matter of can JLS and the assistant coaches can lead them to a successful season without bobby petrino.
Donelson was wrong here with that comment about "not putting Cam in Tebow's class." The remainder of the 2010-11 season proved that Cam Newton was so far superior to Tebow that there was actually no real comparison--not to mention Tebow's going bust at the pro level while Newton set and broke records throughout. Cam Newton was "made for this"--QB/Football, that is.
If they had not ruled it touchdown, this would have been very different. The video evidence has to be without a doubt to overturn. It is one of the oddest fumble I have seen, it defies all logic, and the vision is blocked by the tackler.
beatleman1991 I think there was enough to overturn the Fannin fumble. The Etheridge fumble return, that’s a bang-bang play. It was hard to see when the ball started moving and whether the knee was down. But the Fannin fumble, ball was on the way out at the half yard line.
DoctorLarry One camera angle doesn’t show it, but you can piece it together through other angles. A few years later, I think this gets overturned, but 2010 was really early in SEC reviews. Today’s review process will allow for multiple angles to piece it together
i know that i was pointing out the stats since he was saying auburn was dominating arkansas on both sides of the ball when neither team could stop each others offense.
Sankey and the SEC traded this classic style of the CBS broadcast for the likes of Beth Mowins. Money better be worth it. Doubt it will be. ESPN/Disney have no soul. The passion for the game from the average fan will decrease if they don’t step up their game
52:10 an absolute joke of a PI call on Washington. Reminds me of several calls against AU in the 2018 game vs LSU. Now that was a totally jobbed game if I’ve ever seen one
About as much difference as the "fake" injury did in their 35-17 loss against Auburn this year. Tre Mason scores on next drive in mid 4th quarter, with 18 point lead. Arkansas didn't stand a chance against Auburn this year.
The refs didn't "give" Auburn that TD 51-43, Arkansas should have had better ball security. Childs was losing control of the ball when he fell on the Auburn defender and his knee hit the ground.
So do all who love college football. 2010 was the last of the truly EXCITING football seasons. Every team wanted to beat Cam Newton even more than they wanted to defeat the Tigers, and college football fans loved watching the battles every weekend and all the talk in between. Now it seems that the media tries to find p[layers to hype, but none have had the dominance and consistent greatness of Cam Newton. 2010 made us "want more, more more," but all for naught so far.
I didn't know cam blocked, caught the ball, and played defense also? So Dyer didn't rush for 1,000 yards as a freshman? O and I forgot cam kicked the game winning field goal against Oregon to win the national championship.
If it made Gary moan like THAT then just imagine how it made Jericho Nelson feel? LoL HE was tha 1 who took tha brunt of THAT encounter with Cam! War Eagle
Lol. Definitely not. NCAA investigated Auburn and found no proof. Also, Auburn lost a shit ton of starters. In 2011 Auburn replaced alot of players. Including a verteran offensive line, our best receiver, most of the defensive line, our best linebacker, and our best safety. You may make these excuses all you want. But 2011 wasn't only due to the loss of Cam Newton.
but like i said though that was it after the bad call on green. But the hogs whooped auburn last year and auburn better find a qb to play this year or its gonna be the same story. WPS!
Says an Auburn fan who chooses to ignore when the refs screw another team just because they won. If that makes you sleep better at night from a bad record last year then good.
I will never be convinced that Scam Newton went to aubum u for nothing after MSU refused to pay his $180,000 asking price. But I've come to expect nothing less from aubum, a university - and I use the term lightly - that has a history of skirting the rules and hiring coaches that are familiar with the ins & outs of cheating the system. (see bruce pearl and/or hugh freeze) IMO, aubum u is the scum of the SEC.
He's bigger, faster, better QB, but in the UF weight training room Tebow crushed the Leg Press record and was said the be repping 405 on bench like nothing (I have links if you need it). I've never heard anything on that about Newton, but yes he has farrrr more potential in the NFL.
you act as if there were no bad calls against auburn. even with those 14 points they still lose. And physically they got beat up. in the first qtr alone arkansas players were just bouncing off of newton and fanning. i know the homer opinion makes it hard to be realistic. but they came back against backups. and auburn called off the dogs. but you lookin for moral victories of some sort is cool BUT YOU HAVE TO BE REALISTIC. THEY GOT DOMINATED. show me a qtr that they dominated aurburn??
Arkansas was down by 10 points and came back with a backup qb to take the lead in the 4th quarter. Arkansas was getting chunks of yards on auburn's d until the refs made the bad call on broderic green sayin he fumbled be4 he was down. Then Auburn took advantage and scored and got 2 picks off of wilson. I'm a hog fan and think arkansas prolly woulda lost in the end cuz cam newton was unstopable but the game was closer than 22 points including 14 that the refs gave auburn.
That Auburn defense in that fourth quarter went all out like Bandit escaping those smokies. Those pigs went to the bus during the 4th quarter with their tails tucked between their legs.
There’s just something about the shakers of Auburn that always speaks to me. It’s something you don’t see in the NFL. In my time at Auburn I kept all of my shakers from the student section. There’s something particularly daunting about a rocking Jordan-Hare stadium with the band and the rowdy crowd and shakers, it’s intimidating. Gosh I love me some SEC college football 🏈

It reminds me of when Tebow-mania happened in Denver. The defense is what won the games. Cam was just also a beast.

The refs gave Auburn 2 TDs in crucial moments of the game one to make it 17-14 and the other 51-43.. Probably cost Arkansas a victory.
