However, they have a leap system that will buff older characters. While 1st gen is forgotten, we don't know how a leaped 2nd gen fare against 3rd gen as there are no comparison. If leaped 2nd gen can do well against 3rd gen, then we don't need to worry. That being said, I'm a launch 1st gen main F2P players. Hence I didn't care too much about the meta. I'll always lose on PvP stuff LOL. For me, faster patch means more content and that's good
CW and Stigmata with their leap makes them better, but almost nowhere near the damage as the newer gen 3's 😭 Yeh but I like this too, I put my trust in Kuro

I'm expecting a lot of people to get burnt out with how much they're speeding things up. Then the people who like the faster content speed might get bored at the slower pace after this is done and we're up to date. This is also just sort of presuming they'll get the compensation right and we won't lose a bunch of resources. It all seems really risky, but we'll see.
Maybe Not to me, as arknights player each event is 2-3 weeks. so it's not a big deal. I am sure, players who watch the cn server content will be eagerly and excited as I am who watch rexlent live for every patch (Especially the Bosses in the upcoming patch are sick such as Veronica💀)

The resources are the biggest issue. I don't see them giving out the amount we would have earned under normal circumstances (leap materials, hyper resonance materials, weapon tickets, weapon coating blueprints, etc etc). The math they'd have to do to ensure that isn't something I can see them doing for most servers, especially since they'd have to make sure we don't end up with more than CN has (as that'd make them angry).
Pull currency is only one concern, skulls, harmony canisters, HT coins, PGR has a lot of time gated secondary resources and they will all need a 2x boost to keep up. While there is no reason to panic, I'm not huffing copium either, we'll see soon enough what Kuro's plan is, and if it's bad, they'll lose me as a dolphin.
Definitely a good idea but Kuro has to understand that in order for this to succeed, they may have to "overcompensate" us in materials and some premium currency so that this entire thing doesn't blow up.

tbh before they decided this, I wish they made a mandatory questionnaire for global players when we login to the game about whether we'd want to sync with cn server or not. active players who are at least account level 40 or 50 so people can't just spam new accounts and easily sway the polls. anyway my main concern is ofc the compensation. not just in pulls but also harmonization, resonance, hypertune, warzone mats and ppc skulls, etc. if kuro can't compensate enough for the accelerated patch that we'd normally get in a usual patch duration then there's gonna be a huge backlash, especially when people who'd normally be doing fine but then start to run out of these resources.

Most of it benefits Kuro: easier game maintenance, more money because of gacha FOMO. No amount of compensation will match the amount of cards & material you'll accumulate to save for a character/weapon you want. Shorter duration of events mean players will have to rush to complete them, those with busier schedules will lose out.
That's what I'm saying lol. Catching up does not primarily benefit the players. It benefits the company since all those times people complained about being screwed over in CN would now apply to all versions.
To be fair, the global server is not giving them all that money, it is literally surviving because of cn, so them doing this and then the collaboration with dmc happening soon after will increase the player base both new and those who have stopped playing because of the gap that existed and this player base will not suffer from the anxiety of the gap lasting more than 1 year

It will always be that 1% that makes up most of the revenue while everyone else chips in here and there. Even me who has disposable income doesn't contribute much to this game since...I can get more bang for my buck in the form of a complete game among other things. Lol The small/dwindling playerbase just results in all groups (whales, dolphins, f2p, whatever) all contributing less. DMC will result in a short term boost, but unless the game manages to retain that boost in the playerbase it will just go back down over time again.
It's all gonna be reliant on yhe compensation and i hope they also put more thoughts for f2ps Specially since most bc we get are time gated every f week
For me it a good move, to wait a year for a character basically that hype would have die off when the time it arrived. To balance back and help each commandant to plan effectively i hope they will increase daily and weekly rewards on bc as well so none of us will missed banner. Of course we also do our part to grind more during the shorter given time.

My problem is the the S character selector from the standard banner(blue ticket banner) am saving that for hanying to get her during Lucia patch but now if they merge 2-3 patches together as 1 does hanying become available in the banner after 2 patches or exactly when Lucia drops?
The note clearly states that patches will last about 6 weeks (which means there will be no "short" patches). There will simply be 2-3 times more content per unit of time. This is my perception, might be wrong ofc. edit: We're getting Scarlet Camellia months early! Fuck yeah!
As long as the compensation is the same with the income we should get for the rest of the patches I don't mind we speeding up to catchup with CN server. Otherwise many other players from different servers will go riot
Excuse me, this might be off topic but i need suggestions. I started PGR recently and chose Crimson weave on the Blue target banner to get the glimpse of what I'm getting myself into. Should i focus on Qu shukra team and save blue target for someone else by making a new account or just continue with this account with Crimson weave? Cus i don't know that focusing on one team with unused blue target banner or having multiple damage dealers is better in the long run.

o7 after my S+ Oblivion, then this sync, imma slow down too. I was a dolphin FOR the fact that we had ample times to plan ahead. With this sync, I'm not gonna dolphin lol. By the time I make up my mind on what build I want for each character, it'll be over and need to catch up rematerializing my stocks and changing resos. For example, I got scire being build towards Ionization, and switching Lamia mems too. It's gonna take time, but with sync, it's all fucked now lol. Oh wells!

I'm probably the minority, but I am fully on board with the increase in pace. The story is one of the biggest reasons for me to play the game. With the current system today, it feels kind of bad seeing CN got the latest peak stories and we are getting the "old" content. Plus when we finally get them, it isn't the same amount of hype. In the worst case of pulls, we would probably miss one or two characters, but knowing Kuro games, they aren't that bad to fully ruin the pulling aspect.
Well a conterpoint is getting 1 chapter every month make the hype for next chapter higher, i’m personally one of the rare person that is 95% spoiler free on what’s coming in the lore. But if in barely 1,5 months we get 3 chapters? Well that mean to keep up we will have to read 3 chapters in barely longer than what we got in a single patch before… it suddently sound less fun and more tedious… which is a shame when you see god tier chapter like watank in our current patch… if something almost as good as this come, i don’t want it to be a in-between or the first i have to read with 2 after… story are good but long already.
I play GLB (little dolphin, actually 90% of the money I spent for the game is for monthly pass, BPs and outfits) and TW (completely f2p). I started my TW account when they still had to announce GLB and my main is the latter, though I still do daily stuff on TW only to enjoy the newer constructs whithout having to wait almost 1 year for them to debut on GLB. Dailies with the most recent QoLs available on TW are really a breeze, I rarely do events on that account and I do whathever in WZ and PPC (furthermore, WZ is now just one rotation per week there) so while it doesn't really take me much time to maintain that account and the BC income is enough to pull every S-rank with some 6* weapons, with the synchronization I'll be able to entirely drop it and keep GLB not only as my main but also as my only account which is great news to me. I'm also glad that we'll be able to enjoy the latest story chapters without having to wait for months while trying to avoid spoilers (some of them cannot really be avoided, such as boss fights). All in all I think that the synchronization effort to bring each server up to date with CN is a good move, obviously we'll have to wait and see how they plan to properly compensate and adjust income in tems of pulls and matz but I have faith in them for that regard. We'll lose clairvoyance that's for sure, but I think this will mostly affect newer f2p players than veteran little spenders, and will be a problem only if one tends to also go for those unpredictable pyramid gacha skins. We'll see...
It is good idea, the two mejor downside is that it is no longer posible to plan ahead , this is the minot issue and the mayor issue is that by trying to sync server, we Will need to reduce weeks each patch SO we can catch up, in the process we Will lose BC, pain skull, harmonization material and other resource, SO unless we get the needed compesation for those material, this Will affect player in long run.
The most easiest way to speed up with chinese patch and deal with compensation is double all the daily and weekly rewards while halfing the patch Duration.

All these "players will be able to partake in the hype" videos all seem paid for to me. If you look at any other game with global synch, players are crying about leaks and roadmaps. This is only a loss, Loss of foresight, loss of irl time, loss of materials (GBL is already losing out on 2 seasons of norman), Rushing 5 months worth of events and tasks within a 6weeks window is going to lead to massive burnout. For both players and employees as translators and bugtesters will have to go through triple the content. Kuro already has terrible track record with typos and mistakes in story and skill descriptions.
I think it's good for PGR, because it's actually a very predictable game, we know the releases works, S rank> A rank/S rank/Free S rank>S rank and then, by the end of the year, they release two S ranke back to back

Goodbye planning. The worst scenario its not on the transition, could be when the trasition ends. You will not be able to plan if you wanna chars or not, or getting some char SSS, weapons or not, cubs or not, or even if youre interested on a coating for bc for your favorite character cause this. The possibility of being adrift all the time thinking about whether to spend your BC will be very common. Im not saying that this gonna be like that but there is a very high possiblity. This is not a problem for whales and little/medium spenders but for f2ps I don't know but they will probably be the most affected in the future if this happens. I sincerely hope it will be something very positive for this game that I love. ❤

I wrote them every poll so that they would do something between lagging behind the CN server. Lately, I've even stopped logging into the game because I'm tired of eating one-year-old leftovers. I see how many people are unhappy, and I don't understand them at all. You will be compensated for almost everything. You won't lose as much as you cry, but you will get a full-fledged project, not his likeness. Maybe those who started recently are angry, but as a player from the start of the global, I am insanely I'm tired of constantly eating leftovers. I want to play an actual project, and if I need to gallop across Europe for this and maybe miss a couple of characters, I'm ready for it. The results are much more important.

Being a company doesn't really just automatically mean you make good decisions. Keep in mind Sony, one of the largest companies in the world poured half a billion dollars into Concord. Companies make bad decisions constantly. Kuro isn't immune to that, and it was handled in such a way that makes either their competence or the earnest nature of their actions questionable. They're either floating it to see the reaction to see how much they have to give (likely, we are dealing with a gacha company), or they didn't think at all (you NEED to approach things that rock the boat this much with specifics. In more regulated industries, you'd absolutely destroy your entire business pulling some half-assed service changes like this). Additionally keep in mind the way they gain from this? Is you feeling fomo and spending more money than you normally would or should. Seems bad for the player.

Still depends on how much they're selling the BP tix and bundles. As for constructs, that might make it difficult for us dolphins to acquire more units and prepare for coming constructs. I'm simply hypnotizing it. So yes be worried, but no don't be worried because it is coming and all we gotta do is brace ourselves. No, I'm considering quitting altogether tbh. We're losing foresight, gaining nothing, and likely losing at least some resources along the way when global already gets shortchanged on resources compared to CN. I'm waiting for specifics, but I'm stopping spend altogether, and letting passes run out. No more packs SSS to SSS+ for me. Additionally can Kuro speed up the frequency of paychecks for spenders? Even if they compensate entirely (which is not going to happen)? Characters are still going to be viable for less time compared to CN because of the speed up as well.

Now everyone's trying to get her. Without it, the hype for new chars are there, but no hype for what to build for them. I paid some money towards them, to support them. Is this supporting me? Nope. It is what it is tho, keep it healthy for majority of the player base. That's what matters most.

I propose for them to shorten A ranks, or patches in between major S ranks. 5 weeks sometimes is way too long, that would cut time and actually speed up the process to catch up to CN without pumping everything all at once. this was planned long before, which is why I'm not too butthurt by it. However, me being a paying customer, I too have a right to voice my opinion on whether it's a good idea to accelerate or to slowly catch global with cn.

It will always be that 1% that makes up most of the revenue while everyone else chips in here and there. Even me who has disposable income doesn't contribute much to this game since...I can get more bang for my buck in the form of a complete game among other things. Lol
The small/dwindling playerbase just results in all groups (whales, dolphins, f2p, whatever) all contributing less. DMC will result in a short term boost, but unless the game manages to retain that boost in the playerbase it will just go back down over time again.
It's all gonna be reliant on yhe compensation and i hope they also put more thoughts for f2ps

To balance back and help each commandant to plan effectively i hope they will increase daily and weekly rewards on bc as well so none of us will missed banner. Of course we also do our part to grind more during the shorter given time.
it could be good, but the chances for it to go badly are very high. Personally, I will miss the foresight and planning we get on the global side too. Anyway,I believe this catch up is being done so then all servers are on board at the same time for the DMC collab. Of course this is not confirmed but capcom probably gave kuro limits and forced their hand to do this. No matter your opinions I would not get too upset
Not anxious about events' rewards but anxious that since we will have about half the time to prepare for each banner, we will have half the weekly rewards. Especially when they say we will have 300BC by patch, when they release 3 patch in 1 whole patch it becomes 100BC by actual patch right?
My problem is the the S character selector from the standard banner(blue ticket banner) am saving that for hanying to get her during Lucia patch but now if they merge 2-3 patches together as 1 does hanying become available in the banner after 2 patches or exactly when Lucia drops?
The note clearly states that patches will last about 6 weeks (which means there will be no "short" patches). There will simply be 2-3 times more content per unit of time. This is my perception, might be wrong ofc.

As long as the compensation is the same with the income we should get for the rest of the patches I don't mind we speeding up to catchup with CN server.

Excuse me, this might be off topic but i need suggestions. I started PGR recently and chose Crimson weave on the Blue target banner to get the glimpse of what I'm getting myself into. Should i focus on Qu shukra team and save blue target for someone else by making a new account or just continue with this account with Crimson weave? Cus i don't know that focusing on one team with unused blue target banner or having multiple damage dealers is better in the long run.

o7 after my S+ Oblivion, then this sync, imma slow down too. I was a dolphin FOR the fact that we had ample times to plan ahead. With this sync, I'm not gonna dolphin lol. By the time I make up my mind on what build I want for each character, it'll be over and need to catch up rematerializing my stocks and changing resos.
For example, I got scire being build towards Ionization, and switching Lamia mems too. It's gonna take time, but with sync, it's all fucked now lol. Oh wells!

I'm probably the minority, but I am fully on board with the increase in pace. The story is one of the biggest reasons for me to play the game. With the current system today, it feels kind of bad seeing CN got the latest peak stories and we are getting the "old" content. Plus when we finally get them, it isn't the same amount of hype. In the worst case of pulls, we would probably miss one or two characters, but knowing Kuro games, they aren't that bad to fully ruin the pulling aspect.
Well a conterpoint is getting 1 chapter every month make the hype for next chapter higher, i’m personally one of the rare person that is 95% spoiler free on what’s coming in the lore.
But if in barely 1,5 months we get 3 chapters? Well that mean to keep up we will have to read 3 chapters in barely longer than what we got in a single patch before… it suddently sound less fun and more tedious… which is a shame when you see god tier chapter like watank in our current patch… if something almost as good as this come, i don’t want it to be a in-between or the first i have to read with 2 after… story are good but long already.

I play GLB (little dolphin, actually 90% of the money I spent for the game is for monthly pass, BPs and outfits) and TW (completely f2p). I started my TW account when they still had to announce GLB and my main is the latter, though I still do daily stuff on TW only to enjoy the newer constructs whithout having to wait almost 1 year for them to debut on GLB. Dailies with the most recent QoLs available on TW are really a breeze, I rarely do events on that account and I do whathever in WZ and PPC (furthermore, WZ is now just one rotation per week there) so while it doesn't really take me much time to maintain that account and the BC income is enough to pull every S-rank with some 6* weapons, with the synchronization I'll be able to entirely drop it and keep GLB not only as my main but also as my only account which is great news to me. I'm also glad that we'll be able to enjoy the latest story chapters without having to wait for months while trying to avoid spoilers (some of them cannot really be avoided, such as boss fights). All in all I think that the synchronization effort to bring each server up to date with CN is a good move, obviously we'll have to wait and see how they plan to properly compensate and adjust income in tems of pulls and matz but I have faith in them for that regard. We'll lose clairvoyance that's for sure, but I think this will mostly affect newer f2p players than veteran little spenders, and will be a problem only if one tends to also go for those unpredictable pyramid gacha skins. We'll see...
It is good idea, the two mejor downside is that it is no longer posible to plan ahead , this is the minot issue and the mayor issue is that by trying to sync server, we Will need to reduce weeks each patch SO we can catch up, in the process we Will lose BC, pain skull, harmonization material and other resource, SO unless we get the needed compesation for those material, this Will affect player in long run.
The most easiest way to speed up with chinese patch and deal with compensation is double all the daily and weekly rewards while halfing the patch Duration.

Honestly, I hate it. I like being a year behind. Planning is so much easier, with no pressure of fomo for overpriced content.
I'm getting worried on the materials and currency we will lose but i hope they give justice on that since that's what most f2p do saving currencies for the chracters they love and even skipping new gen chracter for some of their favourites

All these "players will be able to partake in the hype" videos all seem paid for to me. If you look at any other game with global synch, players are crying about leaks and roadmaps.
This is only a loss, Loss of foresight, loss of irl time, loss of materials (GBL is already losing out on 2 seasons of norman), Rushing 5 months worth of events and tasks within a 6weeks window is going to lead to massive burnout. For both players and employees as translators and bugtesters will have to go through triple the content. Kuro already has terrible track record with typos and mistakes in story and skill descriptions.

I think it's good for PGR, because it's actually a very predictable game, we know the releases works, S rank> A rank/S rank/Free S rank>S rank and then, by the end of the year, they release two S ranke back to back

The worst scenario its not on the transition, could be when the trasition ends.
You will not be able to plan if you wanna chars or not, or getting some char SSS, weapons or not, cubs or not, or even if youre interested on a coating for bc for your favorite character cause this.
The possibility of being adrift all the time thinking about whether to spend your BC will be very common.
Im not saying that this gonna be like that but there is a very high possiblity.
This is not a problem for whales and little/medium spenders but for f2ps I don't know but they will probably be the most affected in the future if this happens.

I wrote them every poll so that they would do something between lagging behind the CN server. Lately, I've even stopped logging into the game because I'm tired of eating one-year-old leftovers. I see how many people are unhappy, and I don't understand them at all. You will be compensated for almost everything. You won't lose as much as you cry, but you will get a full-fledged project, not his likeness. Maybe those who started recently are angry, but as a player from the start of the global, I am insanely I'm tired of constantly eating leftovers. I want to play an actual project, and if I need to gallop across Europe for this and maybe miss a couple of characters, I'm ready for it. The results are much more important.

Legit bro they are company, so they might already thoughts the pros and cons of doing this, and they probably have a way to reduce the cons as small as possible, for example giving compensation equal if not more amount of the shortened patch, so really there isnt any problem for f2p, which it seem those that yap alot, the problem would lies for whale since the leaderboard for rank then would be very short lived, but that just those the problem on the competitive part.
All in all, GL then could experience all the sparkling and shiny new stuff, story, content and many more is big W, idk why GL people like to live on prehistoric timeline lmao.
Being a company doesn't really just automatically mean you make good decisions. Keep in mind Sony, one of the largest companies in the world poured half a billion dollars into Concord.
Companies make bad decisions constantly. Kuro isn't immune to that, and it was handled in such a way that makes either their competence or the earnest nature of their actions questionable. They're either floating it to see the reaction to see how much they have to give (likely, we are dealing with a gacha company), or they didn't think at all (you NEED to approach things that rock the boat this much with specifics. In more regulated industries, you'd absolutely destroy your entire business pulling some half-assed service changes like this).
Additionally keep in mind the way they gain from this? Is you feeling fomo and spending more money than you normally would or should. Seems bad for the player.
@randompseudonym106 that the problem with company that taking branches or market into western, they eventually corrupted and affected by DEI and political agenda hence such game like Concord immense failure because its not linear with gaming market desire, you shouldnt really compare the two since circumstances quite differ, hence sony taking the L move due to many reason, but there nothing like such on Kuro Company side other than just make sure they arent breaking any chinese law.
While i do agree kuro isnt immune to make a bad decision, that doesnt mean you should look at it negative away aka keep doomposting it, of course as of now they are testing the water first, perfection arent achieved in just one go, as long they reflect and make an amend when they make a mistake, its fair move from them to try and make a big decision so that they will have a big leap in experience and progress.

Still depends on how much they're selling the BP tix and bundles. As for constructs, that might make it difficult for us dolphins to acquire more units and prepare for coming constructs. I'm simply hypnotizing it. So yes be worried, but no don't be worried because it is coming and all we gotta do is brace ourselves. As for me tho, I'm simply tapping out because I do need my precognition of future units. Which we won't have any longer. It's the magic of global, or even JP servers.

No, I'm considering quitting altogether tbh. We're losing foresight, gaining nothing, and likely losing at least some resources along the way when global already gets shortchanged on resources compared to CN. I'm waiting for specifics, but I'm stopping spend altogether, and letting passes run out. No more packs SSS to SSS+ for me. Additionally can Kuro speed up the frequency of paychecks for spenders?
Even if they compensate entirely (which is not going to happen)? Characters are still going to be viable for less time compared to CN because of the speed up as well.

Without it, the hype for new chars are there, but no hype for what to build for them. I paid some money towards them, to support them. Is this supporting me? Nope. It is what it is tho, keep it healthy for majority of the player base. That's what matters most.

I propose for them to shorten A ranks, or patches in between major S ranks. 5 weeks sometimes is way too long, that would cut time and actually speed up the process to catch up to CN without pumping everything all at once.
this was planned long before, which is why I'm not too butthurt by it. However, me being a paying customer, I too have a right to voice my opinion on whether it's a good idea to accelerate or to slowly catch global with cn.
