What a beautiful resort this is, and I'm not just saying that. Truly ended everything here, hope you all enjoy. Also this is my sisters last vlog she will be in.

Yup, when you go to that hotel, you’re transported to a whole new world...and that whole new world is Italy
They took the idea of an Italian themed resort and went with it, making it authentic and accurate. Everything about that resort is great, and I’m glad you treated yourselves by staying there. The Portofino is THE definition of beautiful

I've never really looked into the resorts at Universal before, but might need to start doing that after seeing how nice the Portofino Resort is

My family stayed at Loew’s royal pacific before and we absolutely loved the breakfast. They had the best!! cinnamon buns and pancakes

Trattoria del Porto, where you ate breakfast, there is also one on Disney property! It’s called Trattoria al Forno and it’s located on the boardwalk. I went there in February. They serve breakfast and dinner. For breakfast, they have character dinning when Covid isn’t going on.

I stayed at Portofino Bay in 2019. It’s a beautiful hotel, but I felt that the rooms really needed a refresh. I should also mention that normally they have opera singers that perform on the balcony overlooking the courtyard every night. This has probably been cancelled because of COVID though.

I don’t share the same enthusiasm for the Portofino resort, which failed to receive the coveted 5-star rating when it opened. It’s a comfort inn compared to Tokyo DisneySea Miracosta, which was also modeled after the town of Portofino. Universal Portofino may be excellence for tourists who visit Orlando but it’s not really an impressive hotel.
And you're paying for the express pass in that rack rate as well.
I prefer Disney !!!
