Universal hotels are far better than Disney hotels a lot cheaper too!
I wish all hotels separated the commode into it's own room. THAT makes any shower better. And drastically increases the capacity, convenience, and efficiency of any hotel room
Oh well, it happens…but sounds like you had a fun evening…some relaxation…These staycations are a great intro to the Universal Resort Hotels. One difference from WDW is the hotels are not Universal’s, but part of the Loews Hotels group. Thank you, Kyle for another excellent vlog (even if shorter than you intended…we never would have known if you weren’t so honest!!! 😜)

Thanks Kyle for posting this. 3 of us are staying here in October. We are Cabana Bay regulars but moving up to Sapphire. You’re the best. Too funny you were too tipsy and deleted footage lol. Been there for sure. Remember I’m the guy that pointed out you say ACTUALLY so much . It’s your cute catch phrase.
You are making me rethink my next vacation in the Disney/Universal area. I’m thinking a Universal resort may be the ticket rather than staying at a moderate resort at Disney. This would allow us the flexibility to visit all the parks with the money we could possibly save on lodging.
You should start mentioning what day of the week you are visiting the hotels/parks... It makes a big difference when comparing the crowds!
Drinks are $20 at the pool bar the first time because they charge for the souvenir cup but you get a discount on the refills.
Road to 100K bro...Jojo hit 90K as well. Hoping you both will. I haven't use a lot of my travel passes too but this COVID is out of control. Rather than stay safe home. Don't worry about deleting the footage, I once deleted an entire group of pictures from a party before saving them! I was so mad at myself but figured I cant sweat the small stuff. Keep having fun! That is what counts.
I smile so big when you get excited about the showers!!! That hotel and room were so nice...and the price. Even if you don't have an AP its still cheaper than a Disney moderate. Will you be splurging on a true deluxe at universal? Love and pixie dust Kyle 😊👍💖✌

The mirror dance 😂 I've stayed at Saffire & agree it's awesome. Loved the option of the Water taxi or walking to City Walk. Hahaha, deleted the footage, oh Kyle!? 🤦
Portfino Bay has 3 different swimming pools is a way you can pick less crowd swimming pools that don't have kids for adults to relax. Other resorts don't offer that.

Thank you for showing the Universal hotels and giving the pricing. We have decided to go with Universal over Disney currently given we can actually afford going to and staying at Universal over Disney. The fact their higher tier hotels are around the same price as Disney's value resorts... is very telling in my opinion.
I prefer Universal resorts to Disney’s price gouging . Staying at Porto Fino in September. Will definitely check out Sapphire Falls . Very fun video Mr Kyle 😎😎😎
Accidents aren't uncommon after a fun visit to Strong Water, just gotta go with the waves though! Great showing of one of my favorite resorts - can't wait for my next trip and thanks for the awesome vlog!

This is our favorite resort Disney or universal. The strong water tavern curried goat and coconut rice are what dreams are made of. And the cabana experience at the pool is so fun and affordable!!
Overpriced, but not as much as Disney. I’d love to stay there sometime. I’ll be at Dockside in November. Definitely would love the water taxi access. It’s worth about $125 - $140 per night. The grounds and amenities are gorgeous, though!

I wanted to say, I love how your are comparing your Universal experiences to other Universal experiences and not WDW or other places. That great "data"! Keep up the great work!! :)
Kyle, great hotel you just reviewed. However, reviews on the hotel rate it as pricey. The inside looks pretty, room small compared to your last hotel (more like Marriot rooms) and lower quality more standard. Average for public $200-$250 a night plus parking charge, unless they use AAA or AARP. Not many people are members of any of the parks. Much is tourism revenue. Challenge : Stay at 3-four star hotels/resorts outside of Disney and Universal. Locations, Lake Buena Vista, Celebration, Disney Springs or Kissimmee. My friend just stayed at Wyndham at Disney Springs, price was $79 a night, great pool, walking distance to Disney Bus Service at springs. Some of the values are great outside if you can commute. Family of 4 typically commutes, unless they have money.

Honestly, Dockside rooms were identical if not larger and way cheaper, parking $15 and free shuttle every 15 min to CityWalk and parks. Loved it! Sapphire over priced for tiny rooms

We stayed there before and loved it so much we are staying there again next year. During the Christmas season they have a big tree in front of that big windows in the lobby.

I am glad you are having a good experience with the universal hotels. Our first and only experience was at Cabana Bay and we will never stay on property again, based on our experience.

hey Kyle, the $20 drinks are so expensive because they are refillable...you can bring the cup back and get a refill for around $10.

I would rather stay there than the Royal Pacific but the express is to big an amenity to pass up. It looks beautiful and I can't wait to go to the bar on the roof of Adventura.
