I have a 2022 Model X and every time I pass by a Model Y, I struggle to see a vast size difference. Of course I have to concede to you, I've never owned a "Y". I'm with you on the downtown traffic too. I'm over here in Suwanee and HATE driving down there; I'm WFH now, but when I did go in, I had a Model 3, so I can really appreciate your point about being a bit more nimble with the smaller vehicle... And a side note, I think you're up 400... I'm up 85 and we do have the HOT lane and HOV lane, so the highway portion of the ride is very bearable! 400 is a beast, esp with all of the construction they've been doing down there lately!
I’ve had a 3P for a few years, love it. Got the wife a Y in February. Love it. Now I’m selling my 3 and we were debating between the X and Y. Ultimately we decided to go with the X Plaid because of a few creature comforts: 1) Cooled seats 2) Air suspension 3) Falcon doors for baby/child seat 4) Size 5) Infotainment 6) Captains chairs (though it’s odd there aren’t any armrests) Another reason is that my understanding is that range degradation on the S and X is less due to the battery chemistry. My 3 was range quoted at 299 when new, and after 80k miles I’d be very lucky to get 210. My wife’s Y LR gets about 260 miles. As we roadtrip a lot, I’m hoping the X will maintain its battery better than my 3, and ideally better than the Y.
Are you finacing or paying cash? You're anonymous on the Internet but how do you make to be able to afford these cars? I make about 160K but right now I have an old 2009 car but no car payments. It could pay cash for any of these cars but that would be about half my available cash if it's a model X. That would be insane. I'm just wondering who can afford the X. Are they just making large financing payments?
A huge difference that many reviewers miss is the screen in front of the steering wheel in the Model X. The Model Y doesn't have a screen in front of the steering wheel - and all driving information (speed, range, driver assist) is on the center screen only.
The price gap just shrunk, model X is now under $80K and qualifies for $7500 Tax Rebate as well. Insane.... Plaid is $90K - so tempting for the worlds fastest SUV. Oh, and ALL COLORS ARE FREE

I wish there was a Model Y sized SUV with the bells and whistles of the Model X
it’s literally the same size, you mean you wish the model x is the price of the model y
Myself has left the chat *wants the model x and y to be smaller

It's literally not the same size dypshyt. The Model X is over a foot longer 😂
Loveee the content!! Awesome video as ALWAYS 🤩🤓🔥
As always, fantastic video Faiz!
Great video! 🎉
I owned a 2021 model y but traded it in for a model x 2022. I could not be happier with my x, yoke and all.
I absolutely love the X. It's such a fantastic car. Love the yoke!
Hi tesla , Tesla have to built electric paddle touch the floor not to make your leg so tired❤❤

I'm looking at the X because of the larger interior and air suspension.
Yea I noticed that with my Y performance, it was 303 after 7 months is was down to 275
@@alexmay1217how many miles?

@@GizmoMaltese I paid cash for the 3. For the X and Y, we paid half up front and financed the rest.

Trade in my 2020 MY with 2023 MX. Big difference in size. But MX Is as nimble as MY.
I would think the decision for most buyers comes down to which size they prefer.
I has a 22 model Y performance paid $64k Traded it in for 2021 BMW x7 because of the lack of luxury for the price point.
😂😂😂😂 just because 😂😂😂
Great review!
Love the video ❤
suspension is the most important comparison
Well done and informative, Faiz. thank you!

Thanks Bud. That was helpful!!

This is so underrated. You deserve a million subs! Great vid thanks!
Wow, thanks! Means a lot! 🙌🏼
Is the extra 40k worth the Y now? 🤔
You would be surprised to hear this gentleman in the video shaved right before he recorded it.
Just curious to know, how do you know this haha? 🤔
I ordered the X. You made me think though about the size. Is it too big?
Nope! You forget the size once start driving it. Handles like a sports car
69,000 now after tax deduction
which one is more quiet and soft ride?
